Judicial report: Trainer R Blackburn advised that DIXIE LEE had come into season and has been retired. Stewards granted handler I Kaye permission to wear a long sleeve jacket due to a medical condition.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295	KNOW LIES (4) and BATIATUS (5) were slow to begin. STAR DREAMER (2) and WANDY JEWEL (3) came together shortly after the start. KNOW LIES shifted outwards in the early stages and bumped BATIATUS. In the run to the bend BLONDE TORI (6) shifted down the track and collided with WANDY JEWEL and STAR DREAMER resulting in WANDY JEWEL losing several lengths.
Race 2	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C4 - 295	Racing into the bend CAWBOURNE BURN (5) galloped on the heels of NOT A KNOW (6) and lost ground which caused the trailing KNOW CHARITY (3) to also be checked. OPAWA RUFUS (8) was also forced wider as a result.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Stakes - C3 - 520	ON THE LEVEL (6) and GEE CEE BEE (4) collided in the early stages. Racing into the first bend CAWBOURNE ABBI (9) and OPAWA ZARA (3) came together. Into the back straight EVEN SEVEN (7) and CAWBOURNE ABBI bumped. ON THE LEVEL and CAWBOURNE ABBI came together at the end of the back straight with the trailing GRUNT RODGERS (2) being hampered. Rounding the final bend CAWBOURNE ABBI and GEE CEE BEE were tightened by AIR FLOW (1) and GRUNT RODGERS. CAWBOURNE ABBI was examined by the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. When questioned regarding the performance of CAWBOURNE ABBI, trainer C Roberts was of the opinion that the bitch may not have backed up from its last start on Tuesday at Forbury Park.
Race 4	Garden City Chem Dry Dash - C5 - 295	BILLY WEST (5) and ROQETTE (1) came together racing into the first bend. TERRA ANNIE (4) ran wide rounding the bend.
Race 5	Chris & Lisa Earl Stakes - R/A - 520	The start of this race was delayed one minute at the request of the TAB. WHAT I LIKE (2) and BOTANY KEVIN (4) collided in the early stages. CULVIE MAGIC (5) galloped on the heels of PUNCH ON JAIME (7) approaching the first bend and lost ground. Into the bend CULVIE MAGIC and BOTANY KEVIN collided with both dogs losing their chance. MY SQUIZZY (6) and HARLEM HAKA (3) bumped at the end of the back straight. HOMEBUSH CHURRO (1) began to yield ground rounding the final bend. BOTANY KEVIN and CULVIE MAGIC were examined by the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 6	racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C5 - 295	RUSTY KNIFE (1) and NOBLE FANTASY (8) were the slowest into stride. JUMPIN' JULIA (4) was checked when racing between LIFE'S A LAUGH (3) and ANGELIC STAR (5) and lost ground. Rounding the bend HETFIELD (2) shifted outwards checking LIFE'S A LAUGH and ANGELIC STAR with both LIFE'S A LAUGH and ANGELIC STAR losing several lengths. Shortly after SMASH RUMOUR (7), RUSTY KNIFE and ANGELIC STAR collided with SMASH RUMOUR shifting wider on the track again checking ANGELIC STAR and also EXCUSE PLEASE (6) and NOBLE FANTASY. LIFE'S A LAUGH and JUMPIN' JULIA came together early in the run home.
Race 7	Kolorful Kanvas Distance Feature - C1d - 732	BIGTIME KELINA (8) and CHILL OUT RALPH (6) came together racing into the first bend. Turning into the straight on the first occasion COURT THE BELLE (2) checked off the heels of OPAWA ANNIE (4) and shifted outwards checking BIGTIME KELINA.
Race 8	Hampden Tavern Sprint - C5 - 295	WANDY GENO (3) and MR. WHIPPY (4) came together in the early stages. TRANS TASMAN (2) and MR. WHIPPY collided rounding the bend with MR. WHIPPY losing several lengths.
Race 9	Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C4/5 - 520	CRACKING CHAIN (4) ran inwards in the early stages tightening INDI'S GRACE (1), LAUDABLE (9) and RUSSELL HART (3). LAUDABLE, CABOUL (6) and CAWBOURNE PHILIP (8) collided racing into the first bend. GORDON BALE (7) and INDI'S GRACE bumped rounding the final bend.
Race 10	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C4/5 - 520	CAWBOURNE MERC (7) was very slow to begin. OPAWA NO EAR (5) and NO UNDIES SUNDY (6) came together in the early stages. Racing into the first bend SPEEDY KAZZA shifted outwards checking HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (2) which lost ground and hampered the trailing MAGIC EMILY (4).
Race 11	Shirley Vet Clinic Dash - C5 - 295	Trainer C Roberts advised Stewards that he had intentionally increased the weight of KETUT by 2.3kgs since its last race. He added that he felt this was the dog's optimum race weight. STING ME (8) was slow to begin. Racing into the bend KETUT (4) galloped across the heels of MORE BETTER (7) and raced wider on the track. Rounding the bend FOLLOW FAME (6) and SOPHIE'S TERRA (5) collided with FOLLOW FAME losing ground.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	MILDRED LILLIAN (5), MR. JIMMY (7) and HOMEBUSH CRAIG (8) were the slowest into stride. ELKI (4) and RED CARPET (6) collided shortly after the start. Racing into the bend ELKI checked off the heels of RED CARPET and shifted outwards checking MR. JIMMY. HOMEBUSH CRAIG was obliged to race wide rounding the bend.
