| Race 1 | Greyhounds as Pets Sprint - C4 - 318 | ROCKIN' ROD (2) and BOSS APPEAL (5) were the slowest to leave the boxes. ATE POWER (4) and QUICK CAT (6) came together shortly after the start. ALL IN ALL (7) and HOT KING COLE (8) collided racing into the bend. HOLLAND BADGER (3) and BOSS APPEAL were held up for racing room early in the run home. |
| Race 2 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon inn Series Final - C1f - 318 | VERSATILE RICHIE (2) and ZIPPIT SWEETIE (8) were slow to begin. BON VOGUE (4) and ARMISTICE DAY (6) came together approaching the bend with the trailing ROTOVEGAS RAT (5) also being hampered. Into the bend KISSEN RUN (1) and ARMISTICE DAY collided resulting in ARMISTICE DAY losing momentum. Rounding the bend BLAIRLY ALIVE (3), ZIPPIT SWEETIE and VERSATILE RICHIE collided with VERSATILE RICHIE shifting wider on the track as a result checking ROTOVEGAS RAT. |
| Race 3 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Stakes - C0 - 527 | PRANCING BEE (10) shifted inwards at the start checking CAWBOURNE ALPHA (5), CAWBOURNE PUMPER (4) and LIGEIRO (2). WHO DAT BOY (1) and JETSUN STORM (6) came together approaching the winning post on the first occasion and again racing into the first bend. CAWBOURNE ALPHA checked outwards to avoid both dogs into the first bend and came together with BOSS WAVE (9). Shortly after CAWBOURNE ALPHA became awkwardly placed on the heels of JETSUN STORM and lost ground hampering the trailing CAWBOURNE PUMPER and BOSS WAVE. Racing into the back straight CAWBOURNE ALPHA and LIGIERO came together. PRANCING BEE when leading was dragged down by WILD FALCON racing along the back straight resulting in PRANCING BEE losing ground. CAWBOURNE PUMPER and PRANCING BEE bumped rounding the final bend. WILD FALCON, CAWBOURNE ALPHA and LIGIERO collided leaving the final bend. JETSUN STORM and BOSS WAVE came together in the home straight. |
| Race 4 | Carol's TABS Stakes - C1 - 527 | NIGHT PEARL (3), ONLY KATE (4) and COOL FOOT LUKE (5) came together at the start. HAIR HE IS (8) shifted inwards in the early stages checking JETSUN QUAKER (7), GOOD RETURN (6) and COOL FOOT LUKE. Racing into the first bend CORBY (1), NIGHT PEARL and HAIR HE IS collided with the trailing ONLY KATE, COOL FOOT LUKE and JETSUN QUAKER also being checked. NIGHT PEARL and HAIR HE IS dropped to the rear as a result. NIGHT PEARL checked off the heels of HAIR HE IS racing into the back straight. NIGHT PEARL checked off the heels of ONLY KATE at the end of the back straight. ONLY KATE became awkwardly placed to the rear of HAIR HE IS rounding the final bend and lost ground. COOL FOOT LUKE evaded its catcher at the lure before being captured a short time later. NIGHT PEARL was examined by the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. |
| Race 5 | www.agrc.co.nz Stakes - C0 - 527 | LEROY JETHRO (1) began awkwardly and lost ground. RASSO (3) shifted inwards at the start and came together with RUBY TWO BEE (2). Racing into the first bend INDEFINITE ORDER (6) checked off the heels of RASSO and shifted outwards checking JETSUN RAIN (9) which was forced to race wide. DIRECTOR VANCE (5) checked off the heels of COMEGETME (7) rounding the first bend. NIKE GODDESS (4) and INDEFINITE ORDER bumped at the end of the back straight. INDEFINITE ORDER and COMEGETME came together early in the run home. |
| Race 6 | Trophies Plus Sprint - C3 - 318 | KIM DOTCOM (5) was a late scratching at 9.45am. ACTING UP (7) was slow to begin. CREME DA GENES (3) checked off the heels of LITTLE RASCAL (4) racing into the first bend. MISS JOLT (6) and DON'T TALK (1) came together in the run home. |
| Race 7 | $20,000 Pick6 Sprint - C5 - 318 | BRIGHT STAR (1) and CLOVER APPEAL (8) were slow to begin. BRIGHT STAR collided with ROTOVEGAS JUNIOR (2) which then made contact with DANATO (3) along the back straight resulting in BRIGHT STAR losing ground and dropping to the rear. |
| Race 8 | All Sew Embroidery Stakes - C1 - 527 | JOKER MAN (1) was slow to begin. WHIRLY RALSTON (4) and DORO FOOT (3) came together racing into the first bend checking UNDER MILKWOOD (2) and JOKER MAN. Shortly after SOUTH BAY DREAM (6), WHIRLY RALSTON and DORO FOOT collided. JOKER MAN and SOUTH BAY DREAM bumped entering the back straight. Leaving the back straight FRENCH CURVES (5) and CRAZY A GOGO (8) bumped on several occasions. Rounding the final bend PEARL TIARA (7) shifted inwards and checked FRENCH CURVES and CRAZY A GOGO with both FRENCH CURVES and CRAZY A GOGO losing several lengths. |
| Race 9 | Greyhound Function Centre Stakes - C2 - 527 | The start of this race was delayed by one minute at the request of the TAB. COSMIC PIRATE (3) was slow to begin. COME ON MICKEY (1), PIRATE LORE (2), ZAMDATO (4) and BILLY HOLMES (5) came together in the early stages. THRILLING REBEL (7) and COME ON MICKEY came together racing into the first bend. Rounding the first bend COME ON MICKEY, PIRATE LORE and BILLY HOLMES collided with BILLY HOLMES being forced wider on the track. |
