| Race 1 | Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | TAI BAXTER shifted in abruptly from the start after starting from box 8 and this resulted in checks to HOMEBUSH BANSHEE, CUTS DEEP and ANOTHER PLANE and they lost ground. HOMEBUSH MAGIC shifted in going into the bend and crowded ANOTHER PLANE which lost three lengths. HOMEBUSH BANSHEE went off stride on the bend, shifted out to race very wide and finished a distance last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a tricep injury. |
| Race 2 | Woodville Dash C0 - C0 - 375 | CARTER CASH was the slowest to begin losing two lengths. FIVE DOLLAR LEO and DOGGED DENNIS bumped together going into the bend and soon after CARTER CASH galloped on the back of DOGGED DENNIS and dragged that runner down and all three runners lost ground and stayed back to finish in the last three places. DOGGED DENNIS was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. WORTH A CRACK shifted out abruptly on the bend and CARTER CASH was again checked in the incident. |
| Race 3 | J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 457 | WHERE'S SHIRAZ shifted in going into the bend and checked PROCRASTINATION which lost several lengths and went back to last. ALWAYS WELCOME shifted in on the bend and checked HOMEBUSH SARAH which lost five lengths and all chance. |
| Race 4 | Manawatu Raceway C1 - C1 - 375 | KOTUMBA and HOMEBUSH STING collided soon after the start and they lost three lengths and stayed well back throughout. OPEHU FLYER was checked going into the bend losing several lengths and she stayed back to finish in last place. |
| Race 5 | Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C1 - C1 - 375 | COYOTE CAUGHT YA and BOSS MAN SLOY collided entering the home straight and they both lost ground and finished at the rear. COYOTE CAUGHT YA in particular lost several lengths and appeared to have an awkward galloping action following the incident and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have an elbow ligament injury. |
| Race 6 | Marton Dash C1 - C1 - 375 | CEDRIC BAXTER shifted out going to the first corner and hampered VINNY DOON and WOLF MARINE for a short distance. SHINY UPSOME was handy going to the first corner but then drifted and finished the race in last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a dew claw injury. |
| Race 7 | www.racingdogs.co.nz C2 - C2 - 375 | KILARA'S FANCY shifted in from the start and bumped OPAWA JOHNNY which settled back. NOT BAD shifted in going to the first corner and hampered YES HE WILL and CHELSEA'S BEAUTY for a short distance. Soon after, YES HE WILL and KILARA'S FANCY jostled together at the rear losing several lengths and all chance. |
| Race 8 | Ashhurst Dash C2 - C2 - 375 | HOMEBUSH ANABEL shifted in from the start and crowded ADDICTED for a couple of strides and he settled back. SHEZA FOOLING, GAY THORLEY and ADDICTED jostled together for a short distance going into the bend and they lost ground and stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
| Race 9 | Cloverlea Dash C2/3 - C2/3 - 375 | RUN JUNIOR RUN and ANOTHER BECKY jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and they lost four lengths. RUN JUNIOR RUN recovered and finished very well for 2nd place but ANOTHER BECKY stayed back. MICK MANIA shifted in on the bend and checked FLYING BLAKE which went back onto ANOTHER COLT which was checked and fell. ANOTHER COLT was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have bruising. |
| Race 10 | Commercial Tavern Super Liquor Green Island C1 - C1 - 375 | ELLO ELLE ran a little wide into the bend making contact with BOOMERANG MAN and they jostled and forced INTO THE FRAY on their outside to also cover extra ground and they finished at the rear. |
| Race 11 | Feilding Stakes C1 - C1 - 457 | RUTH'S RAIDER was the slowest to begin but she made up ground very well to win the race. TEPIRITA TUITEKA shifted in from the start and caused checks to SECONDS GOOD and HOMEBUSH MARLOW and they went back to the rear. TEPIRITA TUITEKA galloped on the back of ZAMADDIS LASS on the bend and they both lost several lengths. |
| Race 12 | Foxton Stakes C1/2 - C1/2 - 457 | CIDER DRINKA began awkwardly losing two lengths. ETERNAL MAGIC shifted in from the start and caused crowding and bumping to PADDY BAXTER, BACKYARD BULLY, DIPSY LALA, AMY WINEGLASS and KNUCKLE BUMP.. KNUCKLE BUMP shifted in going into the bend and checked CIDER DRINKA which shifted out forcing ETERNAL MAGIC to race wide into the bend and they covered extra ground as a result. |
