Judicial report: Due to an electrical fault all 295 metre races were manually started . BIG JOHN CANON (M Dempsey ) completed a satisfactory trial in accordance with Rule 81.1.

Race 1	Super Pets Stakes Heat 1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1	KNOW DANGER (3) ,GOLDSTAR BOMBER (6) and OPAWA MARGORIE (8) were all slow to begin . CULVIE SPRITE (4) was awkwardly placed on the heels of OPAWA HALLY(9) in the run to the first turn and shifted outwards hampering GOLDSTAR BOMBER . CULVIES SPRITE gave ground and further hampered HOMEBUSH RADAR (1) and OPAWA MARGORIE both of which were unbalanced and lost all chance. Into the final straight TODDY'S A FLYER (10) was unbalanced and shifted wider when contacted by the improving RUNWAY TAXI (2).
Race 2	The Turf Bar Sprint - C1 - 295	SMASH MAGIC (3) was slow through the initial stages. BIZARRO (5) shifted inwards on jumping and made firm contact with OHOKA HOPE (4).
Race 3	Happy Birthday Pat Low Dash - C1 - 295	INKA SUPREME (7) was slow to begin .Into the first bend MOP HEAD (4) was checked when contacted from behind by CEC DEVINE (6) and was further hampered when BENNY'S ANGEL shifted off the running line . Rounding the bend CELOSIA (3) shifted off the heels of MOP HEAD and hampered HOORAY FOR HAZEL (5) and MEMPHIS GIRL (8). Rounding the final bend INKA SUPREME and MOP HEAD came together on a number of occasions.
Race 4	Super Pets Stakes Heat 2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH ZELDA (6) was checked between runners shortly after the start . OPAWA PEARL (2) was bumped on a number of occasions early in the running when tight to the inside of runners.Rounding the first bend TRUE BLUE STYLE (1) made firm contact with OPAWA PEARL which was unbalanced and shifted wider as a result. Into the back straight GOLDSTAR JEANIE (4) which was tight to the inside of CAWBOURNE AXE (5) clipped a heel and blundered losing momentum and ground.
Race 5	Shirley Vet Clinic Dash - C1 - 295	Rounding the bend WELLYWOOD (5) and RED HOT FURY (2) jostled for some distance resulting in WELLYWOOD losing momentum when being forced wider . Into the straight BIG MUDDY (7) shifted outwards and forced TOKEN STU (3) wider on the track.
Race 6	Super Pets Stakes Heat 3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3	Into the first bend GOLDSTAR MAGIC (4) shifted off the running line and forced OPAWA CUDDLES (5) outwards onto WAGON WHEEL (8) resulting in both runners losing ground. Rounding the final bend MAXIMUM JEWEL (2) and WAGON WHEEL came together when well back in the field.
Race 7	Hurunui Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	PEDRO FORCE (5) shifted inwards on jumping and hampered both RUNWAY QUEEN (4) and HARPERS BIZARRE (3) which lost ground as a result. Into the straight PEDRO FORCE and BELFAST JANE (2) came together and jostled for a short distance.
Race 8	Super Pets Stakes Heat 4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4	OPAWA GAVIN (7) was slow to begin . Into the first bend CAWBOURNE TIP (1) shifted off the running line and forced DOLEUZE (3) over extra ground. At the end of the back straight STITCH UP (8) lost momentum when tight to the outside of CAWBOURNE TIP which shifted outwards.When questioned about the improved performance of winner BOTANY COMET kennel representative K O'Connor reported to the stewards that BOTANY COMET had benefited from recent distance racing and in her opinion had appreciated the prevailing track conditions .
Race 9	Barron's Supplies Dash - C1 - 295	Rounding the bend LOOK AT LUCY (1) galloped onto the heels of THREE KNOTS (6) when looking to shift off the running line resulting in THREE KNOTS being dragged down and falling . LOOK AT LUCY was also brought down in this incident being unable to avoid the fallen runner. SUMMER LOVE (4) was forced wider on the track as a result . Both LOOK AT LUCY and THREE KNOTS were sent to the veterinarian for assessment with both runners being cleared of injury. .
Race 10	Super Pets Stakes Heat 5 - C1q - 520 Heat 5	Shortly after the start VOUSSOIR (6) was checked and lost ground when buffeted between runners . GROOVY LEO (4) made firm contact with CAWBOURNE ARIES (2) after the start with these runners jostling for some distance in the run to the first bend .Shortly there after CAWBOURNE ARIES shifted outwards and made contact with GOLDSTAR ROSIE (7) KNOW SOLUTION (9) and VOUSSOIR all of which were forced over extra ground
Race 11	Hampden Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	TRUMPED UP (2) and TIME SLAYER (6) were both slow to begin.PHIL WART (4) shifted inwards and made contact with BO'S BUSINESS (3) shortly after the start. Rounding the bend BO'S BUSINESS and ZEE BRUGGE(5) were both checked when SEA SPRAY BORIS (8) shifted down towards the running line . PHIL WART shifted off the heels of TIME SLAYER when well back in the field .
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C1 - 295	Into the first bend CHURCHILL CHASER (1) was tightened and checked when BLUE HOBO (2) shifted down towards the running line.Rounding the bend CHURCHILL DANCER shifted outwards off the heels of NITRO EXPRESS (8) when well back in the running.
