Judicial report: Race 2: Handler T Thornton admitted a breach of Rule 71.4 in that he failed to catch LADY SHAMBI as arranged and was fined $50. Race 3: Co-trainer J Fahey admitted a breach of Rule 80.1a in that JINJA RUBY marred the running of MY SQUIZZY with JINJA RUBY being stood down for 28 days and until the completion of one satisfactory trial.

Race 1	Robbie's Bar & Bistro NZ Oaks Heat 1 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	KAREN'S MAGIC (5), OPAWA PEARL (6) and FLIP FLIPPA (7) were slow to begin. THRILLING TRICKS (2) lost ground racing into the first bend when placed in restricted room between HARPER ROSE (1) and IDOL GIRL (3). Rounding the first bend KAREN'S MAGIC checked off the heels of PUNCH ON JAIME (8) and collided with THRILLING TRICKS. OPAWA PEARL and THRILLING TRICKS bumped rounding the final bend.
Race 2	Robbie's Bar & Bistro NZ Oaks Heat 2 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2	KNOW SECURITY (4) lost ground in the early stages after being checked when racing between DEANNE'S FANTASY (3) and CAWBOURNE ABBI (7). Racing into the first bend CAWBOURNE ABBI stumbled for a stride before colliding with KNOW SECURITY. Handler T Thornton admitted a breach of Rule 71.4 in that he failed to catch LADY SHAMBI as arranged and was fined $50.
Race 3	Robbie's Bar & Bistro NZ Oaks Heat 3 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 3	STICH UP (1) and CULVIE SPRITE (2) were checked by OPAWA CUDDLES (4) in the early stages. OPAWA STRETCH (5) checked off the heels of JINJA RUBY rounding the final bend and shifted outwards checking GAME GIRL (7) and KWASANT (3). Just prior to the home straight MY SQUIZZY (6) and JINJA RUBY made contact with JINJA RUBY turning its head outwards and marring the running of MY SQUIZZY shortly after. OPAWA CUDDLES and STICH UP made contact in the run home. Co-trainer J Fahey admitted a breach of Rule 80.1a in that JINJA RUBY marred the running of MY SQUIZZY upon entering the home straight. JINJA RUBY was stood down for 28 days and must complete one satisfactory trial prior to resuming. The photo finish was unavailable for this race due to a malfunction.
Race 4	Robbie's Bar & Bistro NZ Oaks Heat 4 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 4	HOMEBUSH CHURRO (2) was slow to begin. OPAWA SHAIDEN (4) shifted outwards at the start simultaneous to THRILLING GEORGA shifting inwards resulting in TOKEN KAY (5) and BEV'S VIEWPOINT (6) being checked and dropping to the rear. Shortly after MCJOPSON (3) and ANDREA (8) collided. Racing into the first bend THRILLING GEORGA and MCJOPSON collided with the trailing BEV'S VIEWPOINT shifting outwards abruptly to avoid both dogs. TOKEN KAY checked off the heels of THRILLING GEORGA entering the back straight.
Race 5	Robbie's Bar & Bistro NZ Oaks Heat 5 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 5	AMBILIGHT (3) and MAGIC EMILY (4) bumped approaching the first bend. Into the first bend STAR DREAMER (2) and NIGHT PEARL (8) collided with STAR DREAMER losing ground. GOLDSTAR JEANIE (7) was also checked and forced wider on the track. AMBILIGHT and NIGHT PEARL made contact rounding the first bend. STAR DREAMER and GOLDSTAR JEANIE collided racing into the back straight. Rounding the final bend MAGIC EMILY and OPAWA ZARA (6) came together and lost momentum.
Race 6	Robbie's Bar & Bistro NZ Oaks Heat 6 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 6	SPEDDY KAZZA (1) was checked racing into the first bend by OPAWA STELLA (5) and HYPERPARADISE (2) which shifted inwards. OPAWA ANNE which was trailing was also checked in this incident. FALSE NOTION (7) and CULVIE MAGIC (8) came together racing into the first bend. Rounding the final bend CULVIE MAGIC and FALSE NOTION collided with the trailing OPAWA STELLA also being checked by FALSE NOTION.
Race 7	C.T.V. Sprint - C3 - 295	RUN FOR SOPHIE (1) shifted outwards at the start and collided with EXPLODABLE (6). JED NORTON (2) and ANOTHER COLT (7) came together rounding the bend. RUN FOR SOPHIE again shifted outwards in the run home hampering the trailing BOTANY JESSIE (8)
Race 8	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C5 - 520	HARLEM HAKA (7) was a late scratching at kennelling. BUBLIN GOLD (5) was checked when racing between RUSSELL HART (2) and TRAVELLING JOE (9) racing into the first bend. BUBLIN GOLD and CAWBOURNE PHILIP (8) collided rounding the first bend.
Race 9	Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C3 - 520	FEAR GO (4) and AIR FLOW (6) made contact in the early stages. STARBURST TERRY (3) and RAMBUNCTIOUS (5) collided racing into the first bend with STARBURST TERRY losing ground. RAMBUNCTIOUS shifted inwards at the end of the back straight checking HOMEBUSH VIOLET (1), AIR FLOW and HOMEBUSH IRIS (2).
Race 10	Super Pets Dash - C5 - 295	KERAMUS (2) was slow to begin. Racing into the bend DIXIE LEE (4) was tightened as DAMARJO (5) shifted down the track and made contact with GO HOUSIE (9). Rounding the bend KERAMUS shifted outwards in search of clear running and collided with TRANS TASMAN (7). TRANS TASMAN also collided with DIXIE LEE further around the bend.
Race 11	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C4 - 520	OPAWA CASPER (1) was tightened by BOTANY KEVIN (2) racing into the first bend. GEE CEE BEE (3) and GOLDSTAR BELLA (6) bumped rounding the first bend. OPAWA JED (4) checked off the heels of WILD GROVE (8) rounding the final bend. CAWBOURNE MERC (5) was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	KNOW LIES (4) and WILL EXCITE (6) were slow to begin. NOBLE FANTASY (5) shifted outwards in the early stages and made contact with KNOW FAVOURS (7) and BLUE GALE RISE (8). KNOW FAVOURS checked off the heels of BLUE GALE RISE approaching the bend. BAD WEEK (3), WILL EXCITE and BLUE GALE RISE collided rounding the bend. BLUE GALE RISE became awkwardly placed on the heels of BAD WEEK in the run home and shifted outwards.
