Track: Heavy . With persistent rain prior to the meeting the track was initially graded as heavy, but after conditions improved during the day the track was upgraded to Dead after race 7.

Race 1	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310	From the jump THIAGO shifted inwards from the No.4 box and WINNIE WILLOW shifted outwards from the No.2 box with resulting tightening to ANOTHER COVER. Shortly afterwards BUSINESS REVIEW ran inwards and checked EDITORIAL. Into the turn BLACK TRIGGER ran inwards and checked EDITORIAL with the trailing WINNIE WILLOW impeded and both THIAGO and ANOTHER COVER pushed wide.
Race 2	Forbury Sports Bar Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310	GOLDSTAR FRANKIE jumped awkwardly and lost momentum. In the run to the turn GOLDSTAR CHUMLEE shifted ground inwards and checked OZARK'S DAUGHTER. Into the turn OZARK'S DAUGHTER ran outwards and checked GOLDSTAR FRANKIE with both dogs forced wide. On the turn WATCH OUT TRAPS shifted outwards and pushed ADMIRAL ADAM wide.
Race 3	Green Island Barber Stakes - C1 - 545	At the jump OPAWA CASSIDY was tightened between runners and lost momentum. Into the first turn CAWBOURNE ARIES checked off the heels of NOGGIN and ran outwards pushing PUKEKO PROWLER wide.
Race 4	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C1 - 545	In the run to the first turn SCOTSOME POWER checked off the heels of STICH UP. Into the turn COVER TO COVER shifted outwards and forced CALM SPIRIT into OPAWA ALBIE with both runners becoming unbalanced, resulting in CAWBOURNE CRUZE and STICH UP running wide on the bend. Into the back straight CALM SPIRIT checked out off CAWBOURNE CRUZE and pushed STICH UP wide. At the end of the back straight SCOTSOME POWER was crowded by CAWBOURNE CRUZE, shifting outwards and severely checking STICH UP. Following the race STICH UP was examined by the veterinarian and the trainer's request and found to have a minor soft tissue injury to the right hind leg.
Race 5	Ozark Kennels Sprint - C0 - 310	PEE CEE PLOD was very slow to jump and lost several lengths. From the jump HAMMOCK ran outwards and checked MASTER AT ARMS and GOLDSTAR CHYNA. Into the turn MR NOVEMBER shifted outwards and pushed GWENDOLINE STELA wide, then PEE CEE PLOD ran sharply outwards and collided with GWENDOLINE STELA who was turned sideways and struck HAMMOCK with both dogs losing all chances. In the home straight PEE CEE PLOD checked off the heels of GOLDSTAR CHYNA.
Race 6	Roofing Solutions Sprint - C2 - 310	IRISH BLUE was slow to jump. From the jump RATTLE YA DAGS shifted ground inwards and checked off BIGTIME TIP. Into the turn BIGTIME TIP struck the hind quarters of LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE with the dog's coat being torn and subsequently falling from the dog at the rear of the field.
Race 7	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C2/3 - 545	Into the first turn OPAWA STYLE shifted inwards crowding HOMEBUSH IRIS and WAIMAK DAVE who was turned sideways. BUSINESS PLAN ran wide down the straight and into the first turn. On the turn OPAWA STYLE and WAIMAK DAVE bumped and lost momentum. Into the back straight OPAWA BOMB checked off the rear of ROB'S MATE who ran outwards and forced OPAWA ZARA wide. At the end of the back straight OPAWA ZARA shifted in and checked ROB'S MATE.
Race 8	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Stakes - C4 - 545	CAWBOURNE POLLY was slow to jump. From the jump STARBURST TERRY ran outwards with OPAWA CASPER and NO UNDIES SUNDY tightened. STARBURST TERRY continued to push outwards forcing NO UNDIES SUNDY into the path of DEANNE'S FANTASY who lost momentum. On the first turn DEANNE'S FANTASY became unbalanced when clipping the rear of NO UNDIES SUNDY who faltered and severely checked STARBURST TERRY. Into the home straight OPAWA CASPER struck the rear of CAWBOURNE POLLY with both dogs stumbling, going down onto their stomachs and losing all chances. STARBURST TERRY was also checked in this incident. Following the race OPAWA CASPER and CAWBOURNE POLLY were referred to the veterinarian for assessment with no injury sustained by OPAWA CASPER but CAWBOURNE POLLY had a skin laceration to the right hind leg.
Race 9	Roofing Solutions Stakes - C5 - 545	KNOW ATTEMPT was slow to jump. In the run to the turn THRILLING MARTY and OPAWA NO EAR bumped and lost ground. Into the back straight PUNCH ON JAIME checked off the heels of STOLEN MONEY and lost momentum.
Race 10	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C2/3 - 310	Into the first turn THRILLING DAZE ran wide. In the home straight THRILLING DAZE clipped the heels of MARMALADE SKIES and stumbled briefly.
Race 11	Speedprint Shop Sprint - C4 - 310	In the run to the turn KNOW LIES shifted ground outwards and checked RED CARPET. Into the home straight RED CARPET checked off the heels of ANOTHER JEWEL.
Race 12	Racing Again Tuesday 15th April - C5 - 310	DEANNE'S MAGIC and KERAMUS were slow to start. At the jump DEANNE'S MAGIC shifted in making firm contact with the rear of KNOW JEALOUSY who was turned sideways making contact with ANGELIC STAR who was also turned sideways, with all three runners becoming unbalanced and losing ground. In the run to the turn PEARL'S BOY checked out across the heels of FINN MCMISSILE and made firm contact with SOME SAY. Into the bend KERAMUS and PEARL'S BOY jostled and lost momentum.
