Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: KNOW CERTAINTY (G Cleeve) which had qualified for the C0 520m Final was withdrawn prior to the box draw with a veterinary certificate provided. RAW ENERGY (J McInerney) was represented to the vet after racing last night and found to have a relatively serious knee injury with a stand down of 21 days being imposed. Trainer B Shaw informed Stewards that BANBIT suffered a hock injury after racing last night.

Race 1 Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295 HAREEBA TIME (3) was slow to begin and was further hampered when GLADYS EMMANUEL (4) shifted inwards abruptly after jumping. In the run to the first bend IMPERSONATOR (6) and OHOKA COBY (7) jostled for a distance resulting in IMPERSONATOR losing momentum rounding the bend.
Race 2 Christchurch Casino Sprint - C0 - 295 BO'S BUSINESS(1) was slow away . PEE CEE PLOD (2) was very slow to begin. Into the first bend COME ON DOLLY (8) made contact with GIN SLING (5) and lost momentum. Rounding the bend BO'S BUSINESS shifted away from the running line and forced GOLDSTAR MARIO (4) into the line of COME ON DOLLY which came back onto RACONTEUR (7) . RACONTEUR clipped heels and fell as a result. Rounding the bend into the home straight PEE CEE PLOD and COME ON DOLLY made firm contact on a number of occasions.RACONTEUR was referred to the veterinarian for assessment with no abnormalites found.
Race 3 Yella Mustard At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520 CHOKEHOLD (2) began awkwardly and was checked between runners shortly after the start. LAREDO (3) and CAWBOURNE ARIES (1) made contact on a number of occasions over the early stages. Into the first bend CHOKEHOLD improved to the inside of LAREDO and forced that runner onto CAWBOURNE ARIES, LAREDO was badly unbalanced and made contact with the rail as a result .LAREDO was sent to the veterinarian for assessment with no abnormalities found .
Race 4 Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C0 - 295 MR NOVEMBER (1) was slow to begin . Into the first turn LUM JUM (4) shifted out from the running line and hampered UNRELIABLE ANDY (8). Rounding the bend into the final straight ENFORCED KIWI (3) shifted across the heels of DITCHED allowing both MR NOVEMBER and GOLDSTAR CHYNA to improve its inside.
Race 5 I Pave Concrete Maiden Final - C0f - 520 CASY'S RAIDER (1) and KNOW DANGER (8) were slow to begin. TRUE BLUE STYLE (2) and OPAWA JACKIE (3) were hampered in the run to the first turn when OPAWA GAVIN (4) shifted down towards the running line. Rounding the first turn OPAWA GAVIN shifted outwards and forced LOUISA'S GIRL (7) into the line of KNOW DANGER(8) . LOUISA'S GIRL and KNOW DANGER were badly unbalanced and lost momentum .Racing into the back straight TRUE BLUE STYLE shifted off the running line and made firm contact with OPAWA JACKIE resulting in both runners losing all chance.
Race 6 Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295 Rounding the first bend EDITORIAL (5) was contacted from behind and lost momentum. Shortly there after EDITORIAL, DUCO TO DUCO (2), ON THE LEVEL (6) and CULVIE BOY (3) were all hampered and checked to varying degrees when GO TOMMO improved around the outside and shifted ground inwards.CULVIE BOY was worst affected being dragged down .PHAT PANTS (7) was forced over extra ground as a result of this incident. CULVIE BOY was sent to the veterinarian for assessment with no abnormalites found.
Race 7 Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C1 - 295 NOT SO CUTE (2) was slow to begin.
Race 8 C.T.V. Distance - C0d - 645 Into the first turn KYLIE'S BELLE (4) was checked by OPAWA BRO (2) which shifted off the running line . KYLIE'S BELLE was further hampered and lost all chance when contacted from behind by OPAWA RAPID (5).
Race 9 Carol's T.A.B. Stakes Final - C1f - 520 Into the first bend GOLDSTAR JEANIE (3) was checked when in tight racing quarters. RUNAWAY TAXI (2) was also hampered in this incident . Rounding the first bend CULVIE SPRITE (2) and RUNAWAY TAXI made firm contact when well back in the field.
Race 10 Angler's Arms Tavern Dash - C1 - 295 Co trainer A McCOOK reported that MAX'S LAD (8), which was presented 2.8kgs up in weight, was a planned increase with the greyhound having its first start from their kennel.MAX'S LAD was slow through the initial stages. Rounding the first bend THREE KNOTS (3) was checked when BIG MUDDY (1) shifted off the running line. CORPORATE IMAGE (4) was hampered as a result coming back into the line of CEC DEVINE which was on heels for some distance losing momentum .
Race 11 Kolorful Kanvas Sprint Final - C1f - 295 MARBELLA (4) was slow to begin . IRISH BLUE (6) and McJOPSON (8) were slow through the initial stages. Into the first bend IRISH BLUE improved and shifted outwards and checked RED HOT FURY (2) wider on the track . HOMEBUSH TIARE was hampered in consequence losing momentum and chance .McJOPSON was obliged to cover extra ground when rounding the turn .
Race 12 Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295 Rounding the bend RATTLE YA DAGS (5) was hampered when contacted from behind by WANDY PAM (4) resulting in both runners losing momentum .
