Race 1	AWAPUNI STAKES C0 - C0 - 457	CEE ACH GEE was slow to begin. FREEDOM FLYER shifted in abruptly from the boxes checking BOSTON MONA which lost its footing and fell, effectively losing all chance in the event. FREEDOM FLYER continued its inward movement toward the running rail resulting in crowding to RUTH'S RAIDER and TROJAN TROY with both runners losing ground. SECONDS GOOD was also briefly crowded in the incident however recovered quickly. ICAHN was obliged to make its run wide throughout. BOSTON MONA was referred to the Veterinarian for assessment and found to have bruising to the right shoulder.
Race 2	WODDVILLE DASH C0 - C0 - 375	GARNSEY was the slowest away from the boxes. ROCK ON SPRITE angled inward from the boxes bumping with BEHEMOTH for several strides. GOOGLE IT was obliged to make its run wide entering the home straight.
Race 3	J P PRINT (PETONE) C1 - C1 - 375	BOOT THE CASH shifted out abruptly from the jump crowding HOMEBUSH TITAN which as a result became unbalanced and bumped with KEZZ. BLUE SENIOR(Fav) when attempting to improve around MISS SARA rounding the bend, improved up onto the heels of MISS SARA and was briefly checked losing momentum. BLUE SENIOR when in clear racing room ran home fairly and was referred to the Veterinarian as a precaution and was cleared of injury.
Race 4	MANAWATU RACEWAY C1 - C1 - 375	HOFSTADTER began awkwardly however recovered quickly to be toward the lead approaching the bend. HOFSTADTER make the bend entering the home straight awkwardly after changing stride. This resulted in RIJEKA, DOLL PARTS and FLIRT WITH ME which were all racing the the outside of HOFSTADTER being buffeted for two strides. HOFSTADTER was referred to the Veterinarian for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 5	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOFINISH C1 - C1 - 457	CIDER DRINKA after beginning only fairly, sped through along the running rail going on to win impressively. Into the turn, TENKAY DOWN had to check off the heels of ADDA BOY ZEKE which angled in at the point of the bend.
Race 6	MARTON DASH C2 - C2 - 375	COOL HEIR was crowded approaching the bend between COME ON MICKEY and FANTA'S FEVER which was attempting to shift inwards toward the running rail. FANTA'S FEVER was checked shortly after and lost several lengths when COOL HEIR shifted out abruptly.
Race 7	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C3 - C3 - 375	UNO FLASH and JILL SPRITE were the slowest to jump away. Entering the home straight, DECADO when racing toward the rear of the field appeared to falter and shorten stride. DECADO was referred the Veterinarian for assessment.
Race 8	ASHURST DASH C4 - C4 - 375	COSMIC FURY angled inward approaching the bend making contact with the hindquarters of ENABLE which became briefly unbalanced. UNO ORANGE angled inward rounding the bend casuing tightening to DOLLY PEG, FASTBACK KING and SHAGA BANGA BANG. SHAGA BANGA BANG ran wide entering the home straight, covering extra ground.
Race 9	CLOVERLEA SPRINT C5 - C5 - 375	BOLT RAMA shifted in shortly after jumping away, bumping heavily with LADY ANABELLA. Rounding the bend, INDIVIDUAL LILY was briefly crowded when BEE RABBIT angled inwards.
Race 10	SHANNON DASH C5 - C5 - 375	NITRO LUIS and YA LAUGHIN were crowded shortly after jumping away when CHEMICALLY FREE shifted out abruptly in search of clear racing room. NITRO LUIS and YA LAUGHIN lost ground as a result and settled at the rear approaching the fend. CHEMICALLY FREE was obliged to race wide throughout. CALL ME RALPH which jumped with the field, failed to run home as expected in the home straight finishing fifth at the finish. CALL ME RALPH was referred to the Veterinarian and found to have a Bicep injury.
Race 11	FEILDING STAKES C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	FLYING MOE and OPAWA WALLY were crowded leaving the boxes between WHAT'S UP GEE and BIGTIME JET which shifted in. EL JETTA shifted out entering the home straight resulting in WHAT'S UP GEE having to shift inward across the heels of EL JETTA to continue to improve.
Race 12	FOXTON STAKES C1/2 - C1/2 - 457	TINA'S DILEMA angled inward rounding the bend hampering NECTER which became awkwardly placed on the heels of TINA'S DILEMA and lost momentum.
Race 13	Non Tote C1 Sprint - Tier 2 - 375	HOMEBUSH STING shifted inward abruptly from the boxes making firm contact with the hindquarters of YES HE WILL which became unbalanced. AOKAUTERE shifted outward off the heels of TEPIRITA SNOOP rounding the bend and lost momentum. YES HE WILL was obliged to make his run wide rounding the bend.
