| Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 Ht1 - C2q - 305 Heat 1 | In the run to the first turn FLAYOSC raced across on to CAWBOURNE BEAU and KIRIBATI GIRL , CAWBOURNE BEAU went back on to the heels of FLAYOSC, KIRIBATI GIRL on the inner was checked back ,SHELDON BAXTER in behind angled inwards as CAWBOURNE BEAU came back with COSMIC CHOICE running in to the back of SHELDON BAXTER almost dragging this runner down ,COSMIC CHOICE stumbled running almost to the outside of the track WORKING WORKING ( fav ) was also checked at this point ,all these dogs had their chances badly affected in this interference allowing GO WITH IT to get away to a clear lead across the top and was never headed COSMIC CHOICE and SHELDON BAXTER were the last two runners to the finish and were referred to the vet for assessment SHELDON BAXTER & COSMIC CHOICE were vetted with no abnormalities found |
| Race 2 | MORRIE GIBBONS SIGNS C2 Ht2 - C2q - 305 Heat 2 | Soon after the start OPAWA GIFT ran outwards to the centre of the track as HOMEBUSH NOS was bumped and jostled between AZURE DREAMS and MARIAH , HOMEBUSH NOS went back a length angling inwards sharply across heels forcing SMIRNOFF on to SHOWEM BABY who made contact with the rail and stumbled slightly rolling out off the rail back on to HOMEBUSH NOS who went back to the rear ,wider out AZURE DREAMS ,OPAWA GIFT, TENKAY DOWN and SMIRNOFF were all severely checked running in each other as OPAWA GIFT and SHOWEM BABY attempted to force their way to the outer ,all these dogs lost a lot of ground ,HOMEBUSH NOS was able to get a clear run along the inner across the top bend to finish in 3rd placing at the line HOMEBUSH NOS, AZURE DREAMS and SHOWEM BABY were referred to the vet for assessment SHOWEM BABY was vetted with no abnormalities found HOMEBUSH NOS has been stood down for 28 days |
| Race 3 | J P PRINT (PETONE) C2 Ht3 - C2q - 305 Heat 3 | KAZILLION ( fav ) jumped away well ,he was hampered as COME ON MICKEY and THANKS CHARLIE came together ,KAZILLION lost momentum ending up a couple of lengths in the rear in the run to the first turn , she gained a run along the inner in to midfield came together with WOLF MARINE on the home turn she was jostled a few times in the run in finishing in the rear at the line. THANKS CHARLIE was tightened on the inner in to the first turn lost ground for a couple of strides but quickly recovered to finish best in the run home . |
| Race 4 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2 - C2 - 520 | From the jump DUCHESS QUEEN was quickly in to stride , she ran out wide in the run to the first bend before angling inwards with MATISSE racing through on her inner to share the lead OPAWA JAY and MR DARCI both went wide around the first bend DUCHESS QUEEN raced out wide along the back straight across the top bend in to the home straight hanging on well for 4th placing at the line ,doing herself no favours in the extra ground covered through out |
| Race 5 | HARRISON HIRE MASTER C3 - C3 - 305 | In the run to the first turn MISS MCFLY moved out in to the racing line of UNO FLASH checking this dog back as HOMEBUS LIGNITE angled across ,all three dogs were hampered at this point , soon after HOMEBUSH LIGNITE came in on to MISS McFLY checking her ,as she went back WONG WAY SUSIE ( fav ) ran on to her hindquarters hampering her for a couple of strides |
| Race 6 | WANGANUI SECURITY C3 - C3 - 305 | GINA MAC jumped away well ,she was checked slightly going back to the rear by several lengths and she never improved there after finishing several lengths in the rear at the line GINA MAC was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found The Stewards spoke to the connections of GINA MAC with their concerns regarding the dogs performance tonight , after hearing submissions from the kennel rep they were advised that a better performance would be expected at her next run |
| Race 7 | WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C3 - C3 - 520 | ALPINADOR from box 3 angled outwards from the start being several lengths in the rear racing in to the first bend ,he continued to race wide along the back straight attempting to make ground around the field across the top bend in to the home straight covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running ,he beat a couple of other runners to the line . |
| Race 8 | GARY ROSS DECORATOR C5 - C5 - 305 | In the run to the first turn STARLA and COSMIC FURY jostled for a couple of strides , BELKARA raced across forcing OPAWA SISTER back in on to COSMIC FURY and STARLA checking these runners racing to the first bend JUMPIN SALLY was buffeted several times between runners becoming unbalanced losing a couple of lengths and catching heels soon after being flushed out wide racing on to the top bend, she was unable to improve there after finishing in the rear at the line |
| Race 9 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305 | In the run to the first turn SWAPAN, ARMED FORCES and SIR RICHIE came together bumping an jostling for some strides , in behind them HOMEBUSH SARGE attempted to force his way across to the rail running in to TEPERITA RITA and CAWBOURNE BULLY checking these runners , Racing in to the bend SWAPAN angled inwards on to ARMED FORCES ,at this point POPSOME TAGS raced across pushing SWAPAN further in severely ARMED FORCES who went back with TEPERITA RITA running in to him checking him again ,MATILDA'S BABE was forced to race wide around these runners covering a fair amount of extra ground finishing wide out in to 4th placing at the line Nearing the home turn CAWBOURNE BULLY,ARMED FORCES and TEPERITA RITA bumped and jostled several times when well back and were the last runners to the line ARMED FORCES was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 10 | KEENAN CONCRETE C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | EL JETTA ( L Ahern )was a late scratching early afternoon after the dog suffered an injury being readied to leave for the track and will be presented at Manawatu on 10-3-2104 Soon after the start RITZA JACK and GRADUATION came together checking TIFFINO back from between them Racing in to the first bend GRADUATION angled in on to TIFFINO and OPAWA NATTY checking these dogs , TIFFINO and OPAWA NATTY were unable to improve from the rear there after being the last two to the line |
| Race 11 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C4 - C4 - 305 | Racing to the first turn WATERBUG tried to barge his way out from behind RUAPEHU where he was pushed back in as ANOTHER COFFEE came across pushing EXPONENTIAL LILY in on to STIFF DRINK and WATERBUG . racing on to the bend LEGEND BEE ran outwards severely checking ANOTHER COFEE and HOMEBUSH LIMBO forcing them to run out wide with these runners losing all chance there after finishing in the rear at the line |
