Track: Good The track was very well presented and maintained to a very good standard throughout the day and the meeting concluded on time.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: ANOTHER SMILE turned in the boxes missing the start by several lengths in Race 2 and under Rule 72.13, is now required to complete a satisfactory box trial before next racing. KISS OF DEATH marred the running of ABSOLUTE ROCKY in race 4 and viewing the DVD film, Trainer M.Olden elected to admit that KISS OF DEATH had breached Rule 80.1 a and the dog was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1 before next racing.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 Heat 1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	HOMEBUSH MARLOW, DOGGED DENIS and PINNEY BLUE jostled together when the start was made and settled back. A short distance further on, CIDER DRINKA shifted in and caused jostling to PINNEY BLUE, DOGGED DENIS, HOMEBUSH MARLOW and LEMON FISH and they were all hampered briefly. PINEY BLUE appeared to become unbalanced going into the bend, ren very wide losing several lengths and stayed back to finish last. DOGGED DENIS made contact with the rail after the finish line and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 2	Morrie Gibbons Signs C0 Heat 2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	ANOTHER SMILE turned in the boxes losing several lengths and all chance and is required to complete a box trial under Rule 72.13 before next racing. SHINZIGZAG and LAUREN'S LUCK shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to ABSOLUTE TROUBLE and GOOGLE IT was also affected. ABSOLUTE TROUBLE lost four lengths and she then ran wide, appeared to have an awkward action and finished in last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C0 Heat 3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3	FILLING THE VOID and FANTAS FICTION began awkwardly losing four and five lengths respectively. LITTLE VAMPIRE was tightened between HOMEBUSH CELIA and BLACK MAGIC ROCK going into the bend and dropped back and was galloped on and dragged down behind by FILLING THE VOID which also lost ground. FANTAS FICTION then collided with LITTLE VAMPIRE and lost ground. LITTLE VAMPIRE was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Palamountains Scientific Nutrition C0 Heat 4 - C0q - 305 Heat 4	KISS OF DEATH shifted in abruptly from the start and ABSOLUTE ROCKY shifted out and this resulted in checks to ROCK ON SPRITE, OREO BAXTER, ELLO ELLE, SNIFF OF BRANDY and CUTS DEEP and they all lost varying amounts of ground. KISS OF DEATH shifted out going into the bend and marred ABSOLUTE ROCKY which was checked losing all chance. The Trainer of KISS OF DEATH admitted that the dog had breached the rules and KISS OF DEATH was stood down for 28 days and is required to trial under Rule 81.1 before next racing.
Race 5	Harrison Hire Master C0 Final - C0f - 520	CEE ACH GEE, JUST LIKE PRINCE and JASPER HAKA were slow to begin and settled back. MISS SELFIES, JASPER HAKA and CAESAR WIN jostled together for a short distance on the final bend losing momentum but recovered to finish in 2nd, 3rd and 5th places.
Race 6	Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305	AOKAUTERE began awkwardly losing two lengths but he then secured a clear inside run and finished well for 2nd placing. FLAYOSC was midfield going into the bend but was checked back to last and stayed there to finish in that position.
Race 7	Gary Ross Decorator C1 - C1 - 520	CAWBOURNE LOGAN was slow to begin losing two lengths. TRIPLE AYE drifted to the rear on the first bend and tailed the field by several lengths and finished last. He was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a anterior cruciate ligament sprain.
Race 8	www.racingdogs.co.nz C1 - C1 - 305	GOODTIME KATE shifted out and OPAWA JEN shifted in from the start and they jostled with WUNZEE which was drawn in between with all three losing ground. MACGYVER RAMA shifted out from the inside going into the bend and caused checks to itself and GOOD TIME KATE, OPAWA JEN and YEAH NAH and they all lost ground and finished in the last four places.
Race 9	The Rock 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	TOBY'S TERRA faltered and shifted out going into the bend and forced MONKEY QUEEN and TONGARIRO very wide into the bend. TOBY'S TERRA pulled up soon after and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a tricep muscle injury. JUST YOU WAIT shifted out slightly entering the home straight and bumped FLIRT WITH ME which then shifted back in racing towards the finish line and hampered JUST YOU WAIT and TONGARIRO. It was suspected that FLIRT WITH ME may have turned her head in the home straight but this could not be conclusively established and so the benefit of doubt was given on this occasion.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520	OPAWA LEANNE shifted out going into the first bend and caused checks to itself and also MISS ISABELLA and MADAM ICE and they all lost ground.
Race 11	Wanganui Chronicle C1 - C1 - 305	All clear.
Race 12	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C2 - C2 - 305	AGENT JORGE began very awkwardly and almost fell losing five lengths and all chance.
Race 13	Tiered Sprint C1 - Tier 2 - 305	All clear.
Race 14	Tiered Sprint C1 - Tier 2 - 305	KNOCKA SLOY shifted in from the start and dictated the running line of MY BAD JONNY and they both lost ground and settled at the rear where they stayed throughout the race. RED HOT DUTCH and SUB SILENTO led on the bend but they came together and bumped for a short distance and became unbalanced losing ground.
