Judicial report: Trainer A Lee advised Stewards that due to a transport breakdown the papers for DRYSDALE were unable to be presented. Trainer J Dunn was warned for not presenting the papers for FALSE STEP. Co-trainer S Nissen advised that a number of dogs in their kennel were suffering from diarrhoea and were being treated with scourban. TAIERI PLAINS (Casey/Fagan) tore a gracilis in a pre race trial and has been stood down for 28 days.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	JUST A MATE (8) and MILDRED LILLIAN (7) were the last pair on jumping. JACK'S A JEWEL (3) ran outwards in the back straight causing MY FOOLISH HEART (4) and GORILLA ON DRUMS (5) to be checked and lost ground. JACK'S A JEWEL then continued his outward movement and came together with FALSE STEP (6) who was angling down the track.
Race 2	Shirley Vet Clinic Dash - C4 - 295	BLUE GALE RISE (9) was last to jump with CELESTRIAL MAGIC (4) being tightened and dropping to the rear soon after. ELKI (2) was badly tightened into the rear and lost ground as JOHN DORY (3) angled inwards. ELKI angled outwards on the home turn pushing CELESTRIAL MAGIC over extra ground.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295	ANOTHER JEWEL (2) was last to jump with WANDY FEATHER (8) dropping to the rear soon after. CAWBOURNE PLUNGE (3) and RULE JUDGE JUDY (4) were tightened into the bend and lost ground. Trainer J Rush was questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner GEORGIE WONG (1). He stated that he was surprised with today's effort although the dog had recently recovered from a bout of kennel cough and was in a fresh state today.
Race 4	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C3 - 520	PSEUDONYM (7) was a clear last on jumping. HOMEBUSH IRIS (5) angled inwards in the early stages checking TAKE A TRICK (3) who in turn ran outwards making contact with NO UNDIES SUNDY (4) who dropped to the rear. NO UNDIES SUNDY was held up for room on the home turn.
Race 5	Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C5 - 295	POPSTAR ROCKET (6) was last to jump. ZEBIDIAH (7) was tightened into the bend and lost ground with CAWBOURNE PORSHE (5) being hampered in behind and POPSTAR ROCKET being forced wider. KNOW JEALOUSY (4) was checked and lost ground into the bend running outwards and pushing ZEBIDIAH and POPSTAR ROCKET over extra ground. KNOW JEALOUSY was again checked on the home turn and ducked outwards badly again checking POPSTAR ROCKET.
Race 6	C.T.V. Sprint - C4 - 295	CAMPAIGNER (1) and WILL EXCITE (2) were both a touch tardy from the traps. BOTANY PRANCER (8) ran inwards on the home turn and checked WILL EXCITE who lost ground.
Race 7	Garrard's Horse & Hound Distance Feature - C1d - 645	AXEL GRINDER (3) and OPAWA BRO (8) were the last pair on jumping. OPAWA JED (4) angled inwards on the first bend tightening THRILLING SOUND (2) who lost ground. The favourite OPAWA JED was held up on the home turn but only battled when in the clear.
Race 8	Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C5 - 295	DRYSDALE (3) was last at the jump. LIFE'S A LAUGH (7) ran inwards in the back straight tightening KNOW MISTAKE (6) and PEARL'S BOY (5) who lost ground. PEARL'S BOY then ran wide into the bend.
Race 9	Angler's Arms Tavern Stakes - C4 - 520	CAWBOURNE WAR (2) and BOTANY KEVIN (8) were the last pair on settling. KNOW WISDOM (4) ran inwards in the early stages tightening HARLEM HAKA (3) and ANDREA (1) with CAWBOURNE WAR being checked in behind. KNOW WISDOM then faltered on the first bend when leading and was badly dragged down by RAMBUNCTIOUS (6) with KNOW WISDOM dropping right out and RAMBUNCTIOUS losing many lengths. KNOW WISDOM was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 10	racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C5 - 295	KNOW LIES (1) and BILLY WEST (2) were the slowest from the traps. CAWBOURNE JELLY (6) ran inwards in the early stages checking WANDY BOILER (5) who lost ground. When improving on the home turn KNOW LIES ran outwards pushing BUGSY BANGLES (3) outwards on to KNOW CHARITY (8) with this pair being badly checked and losing their winning chances. KETUT (4) ran wide on the home turn keeping WANDY BOILER wider.
Race 11	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C5 - 295	SOPHIE'S TERRA (5) was last to jump. KNOW FAVOURS (8) ran wide around the bend. HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (6) was handy until the bend and then dropped back through the field finishing last. This dog was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	HOMEBUSH VIOLET (4) was tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear. OPAWA RUFUS (3) ran wide on the home turn losing ground.
