Judicial report: Trainers D.Poutama and E Doody were fined $ 100-00 under rule 69 .11 when MACGYVER RAMA was presented 1.7 kilograms overweight from its last start on 13.01.14.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	FILLING THE VOID, PORTOBELLO PATSY and BIG JOB JONESY were slow to begin losing two lengths. PORTOBELLO PATSY was then awkwardly placed between FILLING THE VOID and BIG JOB JONESY going into the bend, was tightened and lost two lengths. MONGO JERRY RAMA shifted out going to the first corner and jostled with WALDO BAXTER and THRILLING HENRY and MONGO JERRY RAMA and WALDO BAXTER were both checked losing three lengths.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH VERONA was the slowest to begin from box 8 and raced out wide but finished strongtly for 2nd placing. AMY WINEGLASS shifted out from the start and bumped with FLAYOSC and settled back. AMY WINEGLASS then shifted out to race very wide on the bend covering extra ground but kept up a strong run to finish in 3rd place.
Race 3	Just Defy That Memorial C1 - C1 - 457	One of the favourites NOSE WHITE was slow to begin losing two lengths and he stayed back throughout the race and finished in 2nd last place. PADDY BAXTER shifted in going into the bend and checked BELLDEEN which went back to the rear and she never recovered and finished last.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway C1 - C1 - 375	HAZZA'S LAD and MISS APOCALYPSE both began awkwardly and then collided losing several lengths. HAZZA'S LAD then shifted in going into the bend and checked MISS APOCALYPSE which lost two lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 - C2 - 375	All clear.
Race 6	Marton Dash C2 Final - C2f - 375	OFFENSIVE was a little slow to begin losing a length but he made up ground out wide to finish in 3rd place. COUGAR ALERT and OPAWA LEGS jostled together for a short distance running to the first corner and COUGAR ALERT was eventually checked, went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish.
Race 7	www.racingdogs.co.nz C3 - C3 - 375	UNO ORANGE shifted in abruptly from the start and checked BUSINESS PLAN which lost three lengths and he stayed back throughout the race to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 8	Ashhurst Dash C3 - C3 - 375	RUN JUNIOR RUN, ADDICTED and CHARLEY FARLEY bumped together at the rear of the field going into the bend and lost momentum. CHARLEY FARLEY recovered the best of the three and ran on well for 3rd placing.
Race 9	Cloverlea Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	THRILLING SONIC began awkwardly losing three lengths. BIGTIME JET shifted in going to the first corner and hampered JUST MAC, THRILLING STYLE and THRILLING SONIC and they all lost ground. THRILLING SONIC recovered the best of the affected runners and she finished in 4th place.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C4 - C4 - 375	RED CRYSTAL shifted in going to the first turn and dictated the line of STIFF DRINK which was forced in causing checks to BOSTON CHANEL, ATTIRE and SUMMER TENSION. BOSTON CHANEL recovered the best of the affected runners and she made up ground to finish in 3rd place.
Race 11	Feilding Dash C5 - C5 - 375	OUR BEOWULF began on terms with the other runners but faltered running to the first corner and drifted back to finish a long last. OUR BEOWULF was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a gracilus muscle injury.
Race 12	Foxton Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	BIGTIME DASHER and THRILLING BUTCHA collided when the start was made and THRILLING BUTCH lost ground. BIGTIME DASHER then shifted out going into the bend and bumped THRILLING BUTCHA which was unbalanced for a short distance but recovered to finish well for 2nd placing. MERCENARY shifted in going into the bend and hampered EL JETTA which lost two lengths.
