Track: Good The track was presented in a good racing condition being well watered and groomed through out the meeting all other equipment operated well
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainers R & N O'Regan where fined $50-00 minor infringement table after being late to kennel SPRING REGAL in race 13
Handler K Wilson was fined $50-00 minor infringement table after failing to turn up for a pre race swab at the given time
SENORITA CHANG was presented to the vet per rule 82.5-6 with the Stewards permission this being just outside the 72 hour time frame the dog has been cleared of injury the stand down imposed on the 2-2-2014 has been recinded and is clear to race

Race 1	Te Awamutu Self Storage Sprint - C3 - 375	UP THERE HERBIE was a late scratching at kennelling when found a wart on his right fore a 10 day stand down was imposed Trainer P Henley was asked by the Stewards in regards to the need for a late scratching due to this, his explanation was accepted. racing in to the first bend ZIPPING REECE ( fav ) ran on to the heels of NO MORE LAUGHTER when tightened inwards, lost momentum going back towards the rear ,ZIPPING WILL on his inner was denied clear racing room being held up for some distance running in to 4th placing at the line
Race 2	GAP Kennels @ Karapiro Sprint - C0 - 375	CALL ME BLUE was first out ran straight inward across the face of CEASER LEGEND and WESTERLEY WIND ,racing in to the first bend ROTOVEGAS SPARKY angled inwards tightening QUEEN OF MEAN,HONEY QUEEN caught her heels at this point losing a couple of lengths ,a few strides on WESTERLEY WIND caught the heels of ROTOVEGAS SPARKY who was unbalanced ,WESTERLEY WIND ran out sharply taking the line of HONEY QUEEN who stumbled going down on her haunches and ran on to the outside of the track on the top bend MEDICINAL was also checked ,on the inner at this point CEASER LEGEND attempted to improve along the inner was run in to by ROTOVEGAS SPARKY and went out sideways in to the path of ROTOVEGAS SPARKY who stumbled going down on his nose stumbling badly pushing CEASAR LENGEND out on to WESTERLY WIND All these dogs lost a lot of ground ,this allowed CALL ME BLUE to get away to a long lead and was an easy winner at the line . ROTOVEGAS SPARKY, HONEY QUEEN and CEASAR LEGEND were referred to the vet for assessment. all 3 dogs were cleared of injury
Race 3	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C0 - 457	This race was delayed 2 minutes at the request of race day control METHOD MAN slipped in behind a stride out of the boxes losing a couple of lengths, further out DIRECTOR VANNCE began awkwardly running in to the shoulder of LEROY JETHRO who was pushed back on to DIRECTOR VANCE as THRILLING EVIE ducked in behind INDEFINATE ORDER, DIRECTOR VANCE was almost knocked off his feet ,BELLA FORZA was also tightened and checked when caught between dogs DIRECTOR VANCE went back to the rear running wide on the home turn finishing several lengths in the rear at the line, he was referred to the vet for assessment no abnormalities were found.
Race 4	Fond Foods Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	Racing in to the first turn VERSATILE RICHIE in the lead angled inwards on to LUCKY LUCKY LUCK forcing him inwards on to LUCYLICIOUS, LUCKY LUCKY LUCK caught heels stumbling then falling causing checks to SUNDAY DRIVER and VERY CHILLY ,these dogs lost ground and were unable to get in to contention there after LUCKY LUCKY LUCK regained his footing to finish on to the lure some distance behind the field and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 5	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C4 - 375	From the jump CAWBOURNE JOCK ( fav ), TOI SHAN, SAMMY JAMES and URBAN COMBAT all came together , racing in to the first turn KOKO WHIZ raced across to the rail checking SAMMY JAMES and CAWBOURNE JOCK, SAMMY JAMES caught heels going out in to CAWBOURNE JOCK who stumbled going back as did SAMMY JAMES These 2 dogs were unable to get back in to contention there after CAWBOURNE JOCK and SAMMY JAMES were referred to the vet for assessment CAWBOURNE JOCK was cleared of injury SAMMY JAMES was stood down for 5 days
Race 6	Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Stakes - C1 - 457	Soon after the start PEARL TIARA was checked then she changed ground out to the centre of the track, FORTIS FLYER came across on to DORO FOOT and ALAMEIN GUS, ALAMEIN GUS and DORO FOOT went back a length ,soon after PEARL TIARA ran in on to ALAMEIN GUS severely tightening this runner back on to the heels of DORO FOOT, both dogs lost ground to the rear and never got back in to contention there after .
Race 7	0800 4 Down Cow Sprint - C2 - 375	OFFENSIVE came away from the boxes awkwardly being last in the running in the early stages ,he ran wide in to and around the bend in to the home straight covering a fair amount of extra ground through out the running finishing in 6th placing at the line Racing on to the bend YOU'RE LUCKY ran out bumping BORASCO ,both these dogs covered a bit of extra ground also, BORASCO ran on strongly in the latter stages for 3rd placing at the line
Race 8	MTA Gift Vouchers Stakes - C2 - 457	Jumping away from the boxes CORBY stumbled and was bumped by FOUND ROMAN, racing to the first turn TEEGZ crossed towards the rail running in to the back of EXCITING DREAM checking this dog ,CORBY crossed in at this point these 3 dogs all came together tangled and jostled for a couple of strides losing ground to a clear last in the running ,they were unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 9	Waitangi Day Stakes - C5 - 457	This race was delayed 1 minute at the request of race day control PIGGY BACK ( fav ) was tightened on to the back of THRILLING BLITZ racing in to the first bend ,being sandwiched between runners and knocked losing ground back to the rear on the inner, he was unable to make much impression from there on in beating a couple of runners to the line PIGGY BACK was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found .
Race 10	NZ Novice Racing Series Final - NZRSf - 457	Nearing the home turn CEASAR CHANCE raced around towards the lead coming together with TEN POINT ONE and THRILLING JAMES on the inner, TEN POINT ONE and CEASAR CHANCE bumped ,TEN POINT ONE went back a length changed ground outwards losing momentum and was unable to finish off in the run home finishing back of the bunch at the line . ROTOVEGAS RAT after being slow away was forced to race widest as he attempted to make ground , he was unable to make much ground finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 11	Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C5 - 375	The field was bunched racing in to the first turn, LOCHINVAR BLAZE ran up on the hind of EXPLOSIVE OSTI, LOCHINVAR BLAZE checked going back a couple of lengths running outwards sharply forcing REAL VAIN out wide as they raced on to the top bend . EXPLOSIVE OSTI was able to keep his position near the front finishing in 2nd placing at the line EXPLOSIVE OSTI suffered a graze to his inner hind was vetted on returning to the kennel block no stand down required
Race 12	Siska Lodge Racing Kennels Stakes - C4 - 457	THRILLING CHARLY stood when the lids went up losing several lengths , KIKI RHODE and ZAGATO bumped soon after the start .
Race 13	Non Tote C1 Sprint - Tier 2 - 375	In the run in to the first turn MAGGY MAE racing handy angled inwards on to the shoulder of SARAH'S COOL, MAGGY MAE went back catching the heels of SARAH'S COOL OPAWA STU was checked as MAGGY MAE came back on him both dogs lost momentum going back to several lengths in the rear ,MAGGY MAE made little ground there after finishing in the rear at the line MAGGY MAE was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
