Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: MISS FOXY MINX was a late scratching from Race 10. She was also a late scratching from the meeting on 29.01.14 due to being in season but was inadvertantly left off the Stand Down list for that meeting and was subsequently drawn into todays field after being nominated on the 28.01.14. As a result, no blame could be attached to the bitches Trainers on this occasion.

Race 1	AWAPUNI DASH C2 Ht1 - C2q - 375 Heat 1	KAZILLION shifted in from the start and bumped ZAMADDIS LASS onto CAWBOURNE ANNA and they both became a little unbalanced for a couple of strides. ZAMADDIS LASS shifted out slightly going into the bend and bumped RICH LIST which checked losing three lengths and went back to last.
Race 2	WOODVILLE SPRINT C2 Ht2 - C2q - 375 Heat 2	ACTING UP and GEM'S CONQUEST both began awkwardly, settled back and stayed near the rear throughout the race. TIME FOR WHAT raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground.
Race 3	J P PRINT (PETONE) C2 Ht3 - C2q - 375 Heat 3	TENKAY DOWN, DASHER RUM and CAWBOURNE BEAU bumped together soon after the start and they lost four lengths. THIS TIME PEDRO was bumped by TENKAY DOWN soon after the incident and became unbalanced and shifted out to race wide into the bend.
Race 4	MANAWATU RACEWAY C1 - C1 - 375	WOLF MARINE was up in weight by two kilograms and was having his first start for Trainer S.Gommans and the increase was intentional. COSMIC CHOICE shifted in from the start and jostled with INTO THE FRAY and DOGGED DAN and they lost ground and settled back.
Race 5	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOFINISH C1 - C1 - 375	General crowding from the start resulted in checks to OPEHU FLYER, BACKYARD QUEEN and GYPSY HUNTER and they lost ground and settled in the rear group. JELLY GEM was checked and almost fell on the bend and she went back to last and never recovered.
Race 6	MARTON STAKES C1 - C1 - 457	OPAWA TOKEN was a little slow to begin but made up ground well for 2nd placing. BELLDEEN had to steady and check over the heels of LOOKS ALL GOOD when that runner shifted in soon after the start. BELLDEEN was again checked and lost two lengths going into the bend when making contact with OPAWA TOKEN which had improved up on the outside.
Race 7	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C3 - C3 - 375	TIME TO FIND and FLYING TRANCE began a little awkwardly and settled back. TIME TO FIND checked off the heels of RADIATOR SPRINGS going into the bend and shifted out making contact with FLYING TRANCE and they were both unbalanced for a short distance.
Race 8	ASHURST DASH C4 - C4 - 375	STIFF DRINK shifted in going into the bend and crowded LITTLE BLACKSPOT onto CRYSTAL WAVE which went back onto STELLAR FORCE which lost three lengths. STELLAR FORCE made up ground well from there to finish in 3rd place. A short distance further on, CAWBOURNE BANKSY checked off the back of EMILY PATRICK and went back onto SUMMER TENSION and all three lost ground and finished in the last three places.
Race 9	CLOVERLEA DASH C5 - C5 - 375	WINNING KNOCKA and RED MOOVA HOOVA began awkwardly losing ground and settled back. CHEMICALLY FREE shifted out going into the bend and hampered WINNING KNOCKA which lost ground. CHEMICALLY FREE again shifted out on the bend and collided with ADMIRE and they lost ground and finished in the last two places.
Race 10	SHANNON DASH C5 - C5 - 375	WISE CRACK LAD shifted out in his usual racing style going to the first corner and forced OUR BEOWULF, BOLT RAMA and COSMIC FURY to race wide into the bend.
Race 11	FEILDING STAKES C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	DECEIVER began awkwardly and was then checked when BIGTIME JET shifted in and DECEIVER lost three lengths. TIFINO was slow to begin losing two lengths. BULET TOOTH TONY began to drift back on the bend and TIFINO and JUST MAC were unable to clear BULET TOOTH TONY and they lost several lengths. BULET TOOTH TONY continued to lose ground finishing in last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment anf found to have pectoral muscle pain.
Race 12	FOXTON STAKES C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	RETALIATE FIRST was very slow to begin losing several and all chance and he tailed the field throughout the race.
Race 13	Non tote C1 sprint - Tier 2 - 375	ALL TOO HARD was a late scratching when found to be lame when removed from the kennels to prepare to race. The race was all clear.
