| Race 1 | AWAPUNI DASH C0 - C0 - 375 | DARK FAERYTALES was a late scratching at kennelling when found to be showing symptoms of kennel cough In the run in to the first bend LOOKS ALL GOOD cut in across the face of OPALESCENT ,this runner lost several lengths, soon after OPALESCENT angled out wide racing widest there after finishing a margin in the rear at the line CEDRIC BAXTER was racing handy in to and across the top bend he lost ground back through midfield nearing the home straight, he hampered catching heels as he attempted to improve soon after turning for home where he finished towards the rear at the line LAUREN'S LUCK missed the start by several lengths OPALESCENT was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 2 | WOODVILLE SPRINT C1 - C1 - 375 | As the field got away from the boxes HOMEBUSH STING ran in on to SHELDON BAXTER and CHEVY IMPALA ( fav ) racing in to the first bend HOMEBUSH STING angled inwards bumping CHEVEY IMPALA in to the rail SHELDON BAXTER was forced to check back off heels losing momentum , soon after HOMEBUSH STING and CHEVEY IMPALA tangled and jostled for some distance ,both dogs lost ground to finish well back at the line CHEVEY IMPALA and HOMEBUSH STING were referred to the vet for assessment HOMEBUSH STING was found to have a graze to the inner of the off hind no stand down recommended . |
| Race 3 | J P PRINT(PETONE) C1 - C1 - 375 | HOMEBUSH VERONA was late scratching at kennelling when found to be suffering from a gracilis muscle injury In the run to the first bend SHEIK' EM UP and CALAMITY SUE came together jostling for a few strides SUB SILENTIO in behind was checked back as these runners came together soon after in to the bend COSMIC CHOICE angled across pushing BACKYARD QUEEN over on to SHEIK' EM UP all these runners were hindered for several strides, SUB SILENTIO made good ground late in the run home to finish in to 3rd placing at the line. |
| Race 4 | MANAWATU RACEWAY C1 - C1 - 375 | SHEZA FOOLING was subject to a pre race vet check after she was found to have blood in her mouth as she was taken out of the kennel, she was found to have suffered a minor wound to a tooth and was cleared to start Soon after the start JOHNNY ANGEL and HOMEBUSH CRUDEN jostled for several strides , in the run across the top bend BOOT THE CASH improved around the outer tightening down on to HOMEBUSH CRUDEN and JOHNNY ANGEL both these dogs tangled for a few strides going back to the rear, JOHNNY ANGEL drifted out to finish several lengths in last at the line JOHNNY ANGEL was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. |
| Race 5 | PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOFINISH C1 - C1 - 457 | CAWBOURNE LOGAN after missing the start from box 8 raced across to the rail and never got in to contention finishing towards the rear at the line Racing on to the top bend ADDA BOY ZEKE ran on to the heels of HEAR HARE HARE bumping in to UNO CHARM on his outer, ADDA BOY ZEKE recovered to make good ground in to 3rd placing at the line CAWBOURNE LOGAN was referred to the vet for assessment |
| Race 6 | MARTON DASH C2 - C2 - 375 | CAWBOURNE BEAU went up with the lids slightly ,CAWBOURNE ANNA was awkwardly away fro a couple of strides running in to the shoulder of WHITE LEGS racing in to the first bend COME ON MICKEY was tightened between CAWBOURNE ANNA and MASONYX, COME ON MICKEY lost his footing in behind for a stride losing momentum and ground back to the rear, he was unable to get back in to contention there after finishing near the rear at the line. |
| Race 7 | RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C2 - C2 - 375 | DASHER RUM came out of the boxes going sideways for a stride or so , Racing in to the first bend COOL HEIR changed ground outwards catching the back and heels of ZAMMADIS LASS, COOL HEIR lost momentum going out very wide covering a fair amount f extra ground ,he was unable to get in to contention there after finishing towards the rear at the line |
| Race 8 | ASHURST DASH C3 - C3 - 375 | Racing in to the first bend FLYING BLAKE was squeezed back from midfield as COLD TURKEY came across forcing LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE in on to BULET TOOTH TONY and FLYING BLAKE who angled outwards bumping the hindquarters of TEN ELEVEN pushing this dog wide on to the bend , several strides on BULET TOOTH TONY was tightened losing ground . |
| Race 9 | CLOVERLEA SPRINT C4 - C4 - 375 | As the field neared the first bend RUN JUNIOR RUN angled outwards tightening on to CRYSTAL WAVE ALMOST GOT IT, LITTLE BLACSPOT, and ADDICTED ,SMIDGED on the outer came across tightening on to these dogs as she raced past all these dogs were checked at this point |
| Race 10 | SHANNON DASH C5 - C5 - 375 | COSMIC FURY was slowest away, WISE CRACK LAD ducked out across the heels of FIERCE STAR running in to LADY ANABELLA and COSMIC FURY. Racing across the top bend LADY ANABELLA was checked between BOLT RAMA and SLANGEVAR, LADY ANABELLA went back on to FIERCE STAR these two dogs bumped and jostled for some distance racing towards and in to the home straight with them finishing in the last two placings at the line. |
| Race 11 | FEILDING STAKES C2/3 - C2/3 - 457 | BIT COIN was away well racing up handy on to the top bend she was passed by a couple of runners then bumped nearing the home turn as MR DARCI improved through on her inner pushing GAY THORLEY out on to BIT COIN as they straightened for the run in BIT COIN was unbalanced for a stride or so finishing in the rear bunch at the line |
| Race 12 | FOXTON STAKES C4/5 - C4/5 - 457 | MISS FOXY MINX was a late scratching mid morning after Trainer B Goldsack advised the club that the bitch was showing signs of being in season as she was being readied to leave for the track. OSTAPCHUK was away well in the initial stages drifted across the top finishing in the rear at the line OSTAPCHUK was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found |
