Judicial report: FLIP FLIPPA (Lane & Wales) completed a satisfactory trial as required under Rule 81. The connections advised that this dog's immediate engagements will be restricted to sprint racing. Trainer J McInerney admitted a breach of Rule 88.1.o. the details of which are that he presented HOMEBUSH SARGE to race instead of HOMEBUSH CHOPPER at the Waikato Greyhound Racing Club's meeting of 24 December 2013. After considering submissions the JCA fined Mr McInerney the sum of $425.00.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295	KNOW THOUGHT (3), OPAWA RUFUS (6) and RED CARPET (8) were the last trio at the jump. KNOW THOUGHT angled outwards into the bend pushing OPAWA RUFUS and RED CARPET wider as this pair attempted to improve. BUSINESS PLAN (5) ran wide on the home turn. KNOW THOUGHT received an injury at the lure with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 2	Ritchies Coachlines Dash - C3 - 295	The favourite JOHN DORY (1) was a touch slow from the inside. STARBURST BENNY (5) and MILDRED LILLIAN (7) dropped to the rear in the early stages. RULE JUDGE JUDY (2) angled outwards into the bend checking ANOTHER RAEWYN (4) with this pair losing ground. On the home turn SECRET SPRITE (6) angled inwards tightening SEA SPRAY TICH (3) who then ran outwards severely hampering MILDRED LILLIAN who was forced very wide. In behind FLEUR DU LIYS (8) was badly inconvenienced in this incident and ran inwards checking STARBURST BENNY who was forced to change ground to the outside.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C5 - 295	CAMPAIGNER (1) and KNOW CHARITY (2) were the slowest from the traps. PICK THE TIP (5) ran inwards in the back straight pushing KNOW MISTAKE (3) down the track. CAMPAIGNER brushed the rail into the bend and lost ground. GITCHA EASY (6) received a check and was dragged down into the bend and dropped to a rearward position with KNOW CHARITY being forced wide as a result.
Race 4	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C3 - 520	BOTANY SEATON (6) was tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear. KIN NIKKI (5) and OPAWA BOMB (8) came together for a stride into the bend and settled at the rear.
Race 5	Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C5 - 295	PEARL'S BOY (4), KNOW LIES (7) and STING ME (8) were the last trio in the early stages. Into the bend BIT PICCADILLY (2) was badly tightened and dragged down losing ground when racing to the inside of CAWBOURNE PORSHE (3) who also lost ground. STING ME and HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (6) were also inconvenienced at this stage. KNOW LIES (7) was forced wide to avoid these runners. BIT PICCADILLY was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 6	I Pave Concrete Dash - C4 - 295	KNOW WISDOM (5) angled outwards on the bend coming together with ELKI (8) who lost ground. OPAWA WALLY (3) ran wide on the bend pushing BLONDE TORI (4) over extra ground.
Race 7	Carol's T.A.B. Stakes - C4 - 520	FEAR GO (4) and OPAWA JED (10) were the last pair on settling. NO UNDIES SUNDY (3) ran inwards in the run to the first bend tightening HUSTLER AMBITION (2). OPAWA JED ran wide on the first bend. NO UNDIES SUNDY commenced to give ground out of the back straight with BIGTIME KELINA (8) being held up for some distance.
Race 8	racingdogs.co.nz Sprint - C3 - 295	WILL EXCITE (1) was a shade slow to jump with YALDHURST EDWARD (8) a clear last to settle. Into the bend STAR DREAMER (7) angled inwards when vying for the lead and came together with ANOTHER JEWEL (5) with both dogs losing ground as a result. HOMEBUSH CRAIG (6) was forced wide to avoid STAR DREAMER who had raced wide after the check. On the home turn STAR DREAMER received another check as HOMEBUSH CRAIG angled inwards.
Race 9	2014 Flair Ladies Bracelet - C5 - 520	STARBURST CLEMMY (3) and CAWBOURNE WITCH (7) were the last on settling. OPAWA STYLE (2) was tightened into the first bend and lost ground. FOLLOW FAME (6) led for a good part of the race but dropped away quickly over the concluding stages. A post race veterinary check revealed no abnormalities. Trainer M Flipp was informed that FOLLOW FAME is ineligible to race over a middle distance until a satisfactory trial over a middle distance is completed.
Race 10	David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C5 - 295	ANOTHER COLT (1) and KERAMUS (7) were the last pair from the traps. WANDY HALLEE (8) was checked on the home turn when racing to the outside of ZEBIDIAH (4).
Race 11	C.T.V. Sprint - C5 - 295	DRYSDALE (2) was last to jump. DRYSDALE then angled out into the bend checking ETCHED IN STONE (3) who lost ground.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	SOSAN (3) ran outwards and came together with BOTANY PRANCER (4) and TURBO TUNDRA (5) in the early stages. SOSAN was then badly tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear. TURBO TUNDRA checked off the hind quarters of WANDY CHICK (6) into the bend and lost ground.
