Track: Good The track was well presented and the meeting proceeded smoothly until the eathquake arrived but concluded on time.

Judicial report: HOMEBUSH NOS was a late scratching when the wrong dog was presented at kennelling and HOMEBUSH NOS was stood down for 28 days under Rule 64.5. An inquiry was opened and adjourned in relation to the late scratching.

Race 1	AWAPUNI DASH C0 - C0 - 375	LOOKS ALL GOOD shifted in abruptly from the start and crossed VINNY DOON which clipped a heel and lost momentum. SHEIK 'EM UP and COSMIC CHOICE shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to VINNY DOON, CAWBOURNE IMPACT and HOMEBUSH TITAN and they all lost ground. CAWBOURNE IMPACT and HOMEBUSH TITAN then jostled together for a short distance, ran wide on the bend and stayed back to finish at the rear.
Race 2	WOODVILLE DASH C1 - C1 - 375	HAZZA'S LAD, COSMIC SALLY and MERELY A DREAM were slow to begin losing two lengths and soon after, HAZZA'S LAD made contact with the hind quarters of MASONYX which was checked back to the rear. MASONYX checked over the heels of MERELY A DREAM on the bend losing further ground. MERELY A DREAM drifted soon after that incident and finished several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pectoral muscle pain.
Race 3	J P PRINT (PETONE) C1 - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH VERONA, CHELSEAS BABE and GENIA HAKA came together and bumped on the bend and they lost three lengths and stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 4	MANAWATU RACEWAY C1 - C1 - 457	CHARLES FREDRICK was checked going into the bend and went back onto ADDA BOY ZEKE which was severely checked and went back to the rear and he stayed back to the finish .
Race 5	PETER SINCLAIR PHOTOFINISH C2 - C2 - 375	COOL HEIR, CALM RITA and OPAWA LEGS were slow to begin losing three lengths. OPAWA LEGS recovered the best of the three and was making ground in the home straight until hampered when the eventual winner LA FONTAINE shifted and OPAWA LEGS had to change ground and finished in 2nd place. CAWBOURNE ANNA shifted away from the rail going into the bend and jostled with LINCOLN FLYER and they both lost a length.
Race 6	CLOVERLEA DASH C3 - C3 - 375	The Lure Driver was reminded of his obligations to keep the lure within the specified distance as per the Rules after it was observed to be inside the required distance going into the bend. BLACK HENNESSY drew box 7 and raced a little wide on the bend and drifted to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and was found to have a gracilus injury.
Race 7	FEILDING DASH C3/4 - C3/4 - 375	EMILY PATRICK shifted in from the start and caused checks to EMMA MARIE, IT'S A DOLL and ADDICTED and they lost ground and settled at the rear and stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 8	MARTON SPRINT C3/4 - C3/4 - 375	RUN JUNIOR RUN was tightened between WONG WAY SUSIE and STIFF DRINK when the start was made and settled back. CRYSTAL WAVE and DECADO were checked going into the bend losing three lengths and they stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 9	WWW.RACINGDOGS.CO.NZ C5 - C5 - 375	ENABLE, INDIVIDUAL LILY, SOME SAY and ADMIRE bumped together for a short distance soon after the start and they settled at the rear and stayed back throughout the remainder of the race.
Race 10	SHANNON DASH C5 - C5 - 375	SIR RICHIE, LADY ANABELLA and LITTLE MIDNIGHT jostled together for some distance after the start and they lost ground, settled back and stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 11	FOXTON STAKES C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	The race was abandoned after a significant earthquake occurred just as the race was started and as a result the lure travelled a long distance ahead of the field and the track was moving significantly while the race was on and both matters would have affected the dogs performance.
Race 12	BULLS STAKES C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	JOHNNY RITZA was checked and almost fell soon after the start and he lost several lengths. NECTER shifted out away from the rail going to the first corner and lost ground. CAWBOURNE KESHA was tightened between BONE NERD and BIGTIME JET going into the bend and went back and out hampering WHAT'S UP GEE which also lost ground. Following the race, CAWBOURNE KESHA was showing signs of being in season, was examined by the Vet who confirmed the condition and CAWBOURNE KESHA was stood down for 28 days.
Race 13	Non Tote C1 Tiered Sprint - Tier 2 - 375	POLAR SNOW WHITE wanted to race away from the rail in the back straight and going into the bend, he shifted out across the back of HOMEBUSH CRASH, was checked losing four lengths.
