Track: Good The Track was presented in a very good racing order, all other equipment operated well through out the programme
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: OPAWA STU was late scratched at the close of kennelling after the dog was not presented on course Trainer S Gardner was contacted, she was unaware the dog had regained the field in race 3, The Stewards are inquiring in to the matter
An inquiry was opened and adjourned in to several issues regarding the Lowen kennels after a dog had got loose from a handler or vehicle and ran on to the track as the dogs were returning from a race
Mr Lowen disobeyed the request on several occasions to speak to the Stewards regarding this and left the course ,the matter will be followed up .

Race 1	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C2 - 375	BLACK HENNESSEY was away well in the early stages, racing on to the bend BLACK HENNESSEY crossed outwards over the heels of ZIPPING REECE, BLACK HENNESSEY ran wide there after covering a fair amount of extra ground finishing towards the rear at the line .
Race 2	GAP Kennels @ Karapiro Sprint - C0 - 375	From the jump JUST LIKE MOON angled across the face of the field checking OBI WAN KENOBI and HONEY QUEEN for a stride, soon after JUST LIKE MOON ducked inwards in between runners forcing WINSOME MATA across to the rail. Racing in to the first turn HONEY QUEEN lost a few lengths when tightened between WINSOME MATA and MIDNIGHT LOAFA improving on the outer.
Race 3	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C1 - 375	TENNESEE AVE a scratching in this race has been retired as from 15-1-2014 OPAWA STU ( S Gardner ) gained a start in this race was a late scratching ( refer judicial ) WHERE'S THE CAT went up with the lids slightly ,but was quickly in to stride finishing in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 4	NZ Graduation Racing Series Heat 1 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1	Racing in to the first turn TEEGZ moved out as OPAWA JAY raced across running in to her hindquarters, both dogs were checked losing momentum and a few lengths. ON THE HOUSE from box 8 was forced to race widest throughout, he ran wide nearing the home and was observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action there after finishing a margin in last placing at the line. ON THE HOUSE was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 5	MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C0 - 375	From box 7 ABBEY MADDISON cut inwards very sharply severely hampering and tightening, GOLD STONE, KASIM, INDEFINATE ORDER and QUEEN OF MEAN , this resulted in all these runners being badly affected in the early run ,ABBEY MADDISON was bumped as WINSOME OSCAR angled inwards, GOLD STONE stumbled going back to the rear, in to the first turn ABBEY MADDISON angled in between runners attempting to get to the rail running on to the hind quarters of QUEEN OF MEAN who almost lost her footing in behind losing momentum, QUEEN OF MEAN recovered to run on well for 4th placing at the line . GOLD STONE was unable to get in to the race after the earlier trouble finishing several lengths in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment , no abnormalities were found The Stewards spoke to the Trainer of ABBEY MADDISON W Toomath with concerns regarding this dogs racing manners in the early stages of the race. W Toomath advised the Stewards that the dog would not be persevered with any further as a racing proposition from today.
Race 6	Fond Foods Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375	All clear
Race 7	0800 4 Down Cow Stakes - C1 - 457	Racing in to the first turn BENGHAZI after being slow away attempted to improve around runners angling inwards tightening RAMAH REASON in on to ZAMDATO, RAMAH REASON was forced back losing several lengths and raced widest there after finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 8	Te Awamutu Self Storage Sprint - C4 - 375	From the jump THRILLING ISSUES LOCHINVAR BLAZE and CRACKLES APPEAL came together LOCHINVAR BLAZE and EUREKA IZMER went wide in to the bend with LEGEND BEE moving out in to the racing line of EUREKA IZMIR severely hampering this runner who stumbled almost falling as he pushed out on to LOCHINVAR BLAZE EUREKA IZMIR lost ground wide out finishing towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 9	NZ Graduation Racing Series Heat 2 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2	TIME FOR WHAT after being slow away changing ground several times across the bend, ran on strongly in the final stages in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 10	Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C5 - 375	Racing in to the first turn REAL VAIN and FIERCE STAR bumped ,FIERCE STAR lost momentum slightly losing a length and was beaten narrowly on the line.
Race 11	Stephen Marsh Racing Sprint - C3 - 375	RAVEON was first away led to the first turn ,he was tightened and bumped BOTANY DOWNS and DOLLY PEG angled inwards, a few strides on RAVEON was bumped as DOLLY PEG made contact with his hind quarters losing ground back to midfield then moving out to the centre of the track losing more ground finishing in 6th placing at the line
Race 12	All Sew Embroidery Stakes - C5 - 457	Soon after the jump BORNATO ran inwards on to CODE NINE with AQUA WOLF being severely tightened and checked going down on his nose losing all chance there after finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 13	Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C3/4 - 457	Soon after the start ZAGATO, SPITFIRE OSTI and HANDS OFF ( fav ) all bumped together , a few strides on ZAGATO bumped the hind quarters of HANDS OFF going back a length across his heels, HANDS OFF lost ground back towards the rear soon after catching the heels of COAL SACK losing more ground. HANDS OFF was unable to get back in to contention there after finishing in the rear bunch at the line.
