| Race 1 | www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C0 - 310 | OHOKA FAITH, PUNCH ON JAIME and OHOKA TOO SOON were all slow to begin. Racing into the bend MISS SELFIES shifted in buffeting OZARK'S DAUGHTER. Further into the bend OZARK'S DAUGHTER had to check out off the heels of OHOKA TOO SOON which shifted in resulting in HAMMOCK being forced wider on the turn. |
| Race 2 | Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C1 - 310 | CASTLE EDEN and GO BIRDIE made heavy contact twice in the run down the back straight. Into the turn NO MORE BEERSIES and checked COSMIC BOLERO who lost ground. Further into the turn NO MORE BEERSIES and CASTLE EDEN made heavy contact with both dogs becoming unbalanced and lost ground. Also inconvenienced in this incident was FANCY SPICE. In the run home GO BIRDIE shifted ground inwards checking BUSINESS BOSS who stumbled and lost ground. |
| Race 3 | Bramwell Scaffolding Stakes - C0 - 545 | CASY'S RAIDER was slow to begin. Racing into the first bend CAWBOURNE IMPACT shifted ground outwards forcing CASY'S RAIDER and SAILORS COLLAR wider on the track. |
| Race 4 | Roofing Solutions Stakes - C1 - 545 | On the final bend MOON AND SEA was held up for clear racing room and when straightening for the run home MOON AND SEA clipped the back of OPAWA TANIA who lost some ground as a result. |
| Race 5 | Green Island Barber Stakes - C2 - 545 | OPAWA CUDDLES was slow to begin. Shortly after the start OKUKU DREAMER shifted in checking OPAWA MARG and ROCKY BAXTER with both dogs losing ground. OPAWA MARG and OPAWA CUDDLES both raced wide rounding the first bend. |
| Race 6 | Speedprint Shop Sprint - C2 - 310 | Racing into the bend SARAH'S DOMAIN lost momentum when checked by BANK ROLLER resulting in the trailing LA FONTAINE being hampered and losing ground. |
| Race 7 | Pryde Engineering Sprint - C3 - 310 | MARMALADE SKIES was slow to begin. COSMIC GALAXY was also slow to begin and then was further hampered losing ground when STAR DREAMER shifted in abruptly. COSMIC GALAXY made firm contact with the rail when as the field made the first bend. Stewards ordered a veterinary inspection of COSMIC GALAXY which revealed no abnormalities. |
| Race 8 | Otago New Year Stakes Heats - C2/3q - 545 Heat 1 | Into the first turn CAWBOURNE WAR, KIN NIKKI and BEADMAN ran wide. At the end of the back straight OPAWA MIDNIGHT shifted inwards and checked CAWBOURNE WAR and KIN NIKKI. |
| Race 9 | Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C5 - 545 | OPAWA WEBBY was slow to begin. Racing into the first bend OPAWA WEBBY has had to change ground outwards when awkwardly placed on the heels of the dog in front. Racing towards the back straight PINDARI shifted ground outwards checking OPAWA WEBBY. NOT A KNOW who was giving ground on the home turn was checked by CAWBOURNE WITCH who shifted in when improving. |
| Race 10 | Otago New Year Stakes Heats - C2/3q - 545 Heat 2 | Heading towards the first bend HOMEBUSH IRIS shifted inwards checking GAME GIRL and BANBIT. Into the first bend FEAR GO had to check ground outwards off the heels of MAXIMUM JEWEL. Racing towards the back straight GAME GIRL has checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH IRIS. |
| Race 11 | Roofing Solutions Sprint - C4 - 310 | OPAWA WALLY was slow to begin. Racing towards the bend ELKI, ANOTHER GON, JUMPIN' JULIA and TAIERI PLAINS were all crowded for room and buffeted with all four runners losing ground. JUMPIN' JULIA was referred to the veterinarian for assessment after the race. The subsequent examination revealed a minor cut to the left fore leg which required some attention. |
| Race 12 | Racing Again Tuesday 21st January - C5 - 310 | There was an official delay of 2 minutes to this race at the request of the TAB. KNOW THOUGHT, KERAMUS and HOMEBUSH EDITH were slow to begin. Racing towards the bend ARKADEN shifted out checking KNOW CHARITY and RONROSE HILL who lost ground. |
| Race 13 | Non Tote C1 Tiered Sprint - Tier 2 - 310 | MERELY A DREAM, OPAWA HOG and BUBLIN JED were all checked shortly after the start when MCJOPSON shifted out and ANGELIC STAR shifted inwards. Into the bend MCJOPSON shifted out checking ANGELIC STAR. ANGELIC STAR was further checked when BUBLIN JED shifted ground outwards further into the bend. |
| Race 14 | Non Tote C1 Tiered Sprint - Tier 2 - 310 | SUM ARE FUN shifted ground outwards over the early stages and made firm contact with DUCO TO DUCO. MOTLEY MAN and SANDI CLAWS jostled in the run down the back straight with SANDI CLAWS brushing the rail racing into the bend. |
