Into the first bend OHOKA HART (3) was squeezed between runners and shifted outwards making firm contact with ANOTHER JEWEL which was badly unbalanced as a result. OHOKA HART then shifted back inwards rounding the turn and made contact with BE PREPARED. |

KNOW WISDOM (3) was unbalanced and lost ground when making firm contact with KERAMUS (1) in the run to the first turn . EMBEE DEE was further hampered when shifting off the heels of KNOW WISDOM rounding the turn .KETUT (7) ran very wide rounding the bend when well back in the running. |

Also affected in this incident was CAWBOURNE WAR (1) ,BOTANY KEVIN and BLACK EMILY . IDOL GIRL was sent to the veterinarian for assessment where no abnormalities were detected . |

GORILLA ON DRUMS (4) was hampered in the run to the first turn when contacted from behind by RUSTY KNIFE (7) . Rounding the bend GORILLA ON DRUMS was further hampered and lost all chance when unbalanced by EXCUSE PLEASE which shifted away from the running line. |

| Race 6 | C.T.V. Dash - C3 - 295 | SMASH AMY (9) was slow through the initial stages. JACK'S A JEWEL (7) shifted inwards abruptly on jumping and hampered both OPAWA LEGS (5) and BENNY'S ANGEL (3). Over the concluding stages JACK'S A JEWEL eased when in the lead . A post race veterinary inspection of JACK'S A JEWEL revealed no abnormalities. Trainer C Roberts defended a breach of Rule 80.1.b . After considering submission from trainer C Roberts , Stewards deemed JACK'S A JEWEL to have failed to pursue the lure and imposed a 28 day stand down including one 1 satisfactory trial . Please note that this decision was overturned on appeal on 17 January. |
