| Race 1 | Greyhounds As Pets Series Heat 1 - C1q - 318 Heat 1 | TAPU BOY missed the start by several lengths, he attempted to improve around runners across the top bend was forced to race wide covering a fair amount f extra ground finishing in the rear bunch at the line. Soon after the start PHENOMENAL LILY angled across on to KITTY'S HOUSE who then ran in on to LUCKY LUCKY LUCK and THIS TIME PEDRO, soon after KITTY'S HOUSE and PHENOMENAL LILY came together again bumping and jostling for some distance as they raced on to the bend, PHENOMENAL LILY pushed KITTY'S HOUSE over on to LUCKY LUCKY LUCK, THIS TIME PEDRO and JELLY JEM, PHENOMENAL LILY went back catching the heels of LUCKY LUCKY LUCK losing several lengths KITTY'S HOUSE ran wide soon after forcing COSMIC PIRATE widest on to the top bend, COSMIC PIRATE finished well in to 4th placing at the line. |
| Race 2 | Manukau Maiden Series Heat 1 - C0q - 318 Heat 1 | This race was delayed 2 minutes at the request of race day control NASTY BIZO BOI began awkwardly from box 1, he attempted to make ground there after was forced to race wide running in to 5 placing at the line racing in to the first turn OUR JACK ATTACK came out on to ABSOLUTE TROUBLE bumping this runner for a few strides ,ABSOLUTE TROUBLE became unbalanced at this point losing ground back towards the rear, she was slightly hampered again soon after as NASTY BIZO BOI improved through on her inner. |
| Race 3 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Series Final - C1f - 318 | Soon after the start there was tightening in the midfield as ROTOVEGAS RARA angled across forcing MISS JOLT in on to BLAIRLY ALIVE who was jostled for a couple of strides, soon after racing in to the first turn MR REECE ran in to MULTICAM LAD checking this runner, wider out BLAIRLY ALIVE lost ground as MR REECE came out on to her hind quarters BLAIRLY ALIVE almost lost her footing and went back to the rear finishing a margin in the rear at the line BLAIRLY ALIVE was referred to the vet for assessment ,the dog was very hard to check, she will be reassessed on Monday with the Trainers reporting to the stewards on any injuries found. |
| Race 4 | Manukau Maiden Series Heat 2 - C0q - 318 Heat 2 | After being last away ABSOLUTE STORM attempted to make ground along the inner ran on to the back of DARK EBONY entering the home straight when improving past midfield, ABSOLUTE STORM lost momentum going back to the rear at the line racing on to the bend WORTH A CRACK caught the back of COOL GYPSY losing momentum and racing out wide he was observed to be uncomfortable in his galloping action there after finishing towards the rear at the line ABSOLUTE STORM and WORTH A CRACK were referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found |
| Race 5 | Trophies Plus Stakes - C0 - 527 | From the boxes ROTOVEGAS SPARKY cut across the face of the field to the rail in to a clear lead in to the first bend, ACAPELLA was held up for a couple of strides when in behind DORO FOOT racing in to the first bend |
| Race 6 | Greyhounds As Pets Series Heat 2 - C1q - 318 Heat 2 | In the run to the first turn there was jostling and bumping in midfield as BOSS APPEAL angled in on to TENNESSE AVE as BIGTIME DRIFTER came out forcing BREAKTHRU back ,BOSS APPEAL kept on crossing to the rail running in to and checking LUCYLICIOUS, BIGTIME DRIFTER directly in behind checked out over the heels of BOSS APPEAL checking TENNESSE AVE who bumped in to IKE JONES then on to FOUND ROMAN. MAJOR TOM raced handy from the start in to the home straight where he seemed possibly cramp up in the home straight finishing in 4th placing at the line, he was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 7 | $20,000 Pick6 Sprint - C3 - 318 | In the run to the first turn WHERE'S CARLOS angled across as HOLLAND BADGER moved outwards slightly, REBEL KHAN caught between these runners was forced back with HOT POOTIE, WHERE'S CARLOS and HOLLAND BADGER came together bumping a couple of times as they raced in to the first bend, wider out PATH TO PALMY and UTAH BOLT bumped both runners went wide on to the top bend, UTAH BOLT covered a lot of extra ground across the bend finishing towards the rear at the line. |
| Race 8 | MTA Gift Vouchers Series Final - C2f - 318 | Racing away from the start UP THERE HERBIE raced sharply running in to CEE KAY DEE , soon after GO DOLPHIN POWER was caught between UP THERE HERBIE and KIM DOTCOM he went back a length ran outwards, CEE KAY DEE in behind runners ran inwards making contact with the rail and almost falling just ahead UNCLE ROMILLY ran in to the back of GO DOLPHIN POWER taking his legs out from underneath him, GO DOLPHIN POWER fell, he recovered his footing to finish on to the lure as did CEE KAY DEE both these runners were referred to the vet for assessment with both runners being cleared of injuries |
| Race 9 | Reel-Fishin.com Stakes - C1 - 527 | Racing to the post first time COOL PURSUIT raced across tightening on to LEGAL AID and PIRATE LORE , COOL PURSUIT was able to keep a run through to get in to a handy position ,he was soon checked as CAWBOURNE PENNY crossed down to the rail, COOL PURSUIT lost a length or so ,he then improved again racing in to the final bend he was checked again as CAWBOURNE PENNY cut back down to the rail, COOL PURSUIT lost more ground he ran on well in the home straight finishing in to 2nd placing at the line KINGS LEGACY was away well in the early stages he dropped to the rear in to the back straight and never improved there after finishing several lengths in the rear at the lind and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found, The Stewards spoke with Trainer J Black regarding the performance today the trainer was very disappointed the Stewards will be expecting a better run at his next start |
| Race 10 | Carol's TABs Series Final - C4f - 318 | Racing in to the first turn there was tightening between several runners as ALL IN ALL angled inwards on to FLY MY PRETTY forcing CHARLEY FARLEY back from between these two dogs ALL IN ALL made contact with the hind quarters of FLY MY PRETTY and lost his footing in behind going down on his side but did not completely fall he was able to get back on his feet with FLY MY PRETTY catching his heels as ALL IN ALL moved ground as he rebalanced up, both these runners lost all chance from there on in finishing a margin in the rear at the line ALL IN ALL was referred to the vet for assessment |
| Race 11 | Sel's TAB Mangere Stakes - C3 - 527 | NOAKI HURRICANE began awkwardly from box 1 almost going down on his nose, FEEL THE VIBE cut across the face of THREAT, racing in to the first bend THOU ROMEO angled inwards tightening LOCHINVAR SONIC on to POSITIVITY . ONLY KATE was only fairly away racing in the rear in to the back straight and never got in to contention there after finishing in last placing at the line. |
| Race 12 | Plaster Board LTD Sprint - C2 - 318 | SYDILICIOUS dwelt at the start being last away by several lengths ,he made ground in the latter stages to finish a close 6th up at the line Racing in to the first turn VERY CHILLY crossed outwards over heels as EXCITING DREAM angled inwards both dogs came together for several strides running wide losing ground and were the last two runners to the line |
