Judicial report: HOMEBUSH VIOLET was stood down for 28 days under Rule 64.5 after being late scratched without valid reason. An inquiry was opened and adjourned into the scratching of HOMEBUSH VIOLET. An inquiry was opened and adjourned into incidents of alleged misconduct by Handler C.Steele when it is alleged that he failed to comply with the lawful orders of Stewards on two separate occasions. Further inquiries are to be made by Stewards into an alleged verbal altercation between Steven McInerney and Licence holder John Gommans in the vicinity of the kennels.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 305	The field raced in tight formation going to the first turn and there were subsequent checks to WORKING WAIKATO, WHERE'S RICAN and CAWBOURNE BANKSY and they went back to the rear. CAWBOURNE BANKSY recovered the best of the three and he finished in 3rd place.
Race 2	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C2 - C2 - 305	RICH LIST and SHAGA BANGA BANG were slow to begin losing two lengths. RICH LIST, SHAGA BANGA BANG and RIBA LORDA were then checked losing two lengths going into the bend when WAIWHATA DREAM shifted in and caused tightening.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C2 - C2 - 520	CAWBOURNE LOGAN was slow to begin and settled back but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. ALPINADOR shifted out and MATISSE shifted in going to the first corner and this resulted in TENKAY DOWN and ANOTHER COURSE being tightened and checked back to the rear.
Race 4	Happy 19th Birthday Luisa Wright C3 - C3 - 305	SHE'S TOP NOTCH shifted out from the start and checked ALL THE MILK and HOMEBUSH DOMINO and they settled back. ALL THE MILK was crowded going to the first corner and brushed against the rail and a short distance further on, she was again crowded by HOMEBUSH DOMINO and made firm contact with the rail. ALL THE MILK was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 5	Palamountains Scientific Nutrition C3 - C3 - 305	UNO GREEN was slow to begin losing four lengths. TIME FRAUD and ALL THE RAGE bumped together going into the bend and ALL THE RAGE was checked losing four lengths. AZURE DREAMS became awkwardly placed between LOUIELICIOUS and IT'S A DOLL on the bend and she lost several lengths and finished near the rear.
Race 6	Morrie Gibbons Signs C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	THRILLING CAIRO was slow to begin and settled back. BIGTIME DASHER and DOLL PARTS collided going into the back straight and DOLL PARTS lost several lengths and tailed the field from there to the finish.
Race 7	Harrison Hire Master C4 - C4 - 305	BOTANY JESSIE and LADY ANABELLA came together and bumped going into the bend and BOTANY JESSIE was checked losing four lengths and she stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 8	Wanganui Security C4 - C4 - 305	RINGA DING began awkwardly losing three lengths and he stayed back throughout the race. STIFF DRINK shifted in from the start and checked WINNING KNOCKA which settled back. CRYSTAL WAVE shifted in going into the bend and hampered MATILDA'S BABE which went back a length onto FIERCE STAR.
Race 9	The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305	WILD PUNTING shifted in going to the first corner and checked EXPONENTIAL LILY which lost two lengths. SUPERIOR IZMIR shifted in going to the first turn and checked ADDICTED which lost two lengths.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C4 - C4 - 520	BOSTON CHANEL was slow to begin losing three lengths but she made up ground well to win the race. EL JETTA shifted out going into the first bend and checked CHEVY VOLT and SMILE FOR DADDY which both lost three lengths. A short distance further on, SMILE FOR DADDY checked off the back of CHEVY VOLT losing several lengths and all chance. SMILE FOR DADDY was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have wrist pain.
Race 11	Wanganui Chronicle C5 - C5 - 305	COSMIC FURY and MISS FOXY MINX were slow to begin losing two lengths. ALLEGRO STAR led on the bend but faltered just before entering the home straight and drifted back through the field to finish a long last. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a leg injury.
Race 12	Interislander Summer Festival 30th December C5 - C5 - 305	SIR RICHIE clipped the heels of ATE POWER going into the bend and they both lost ground..
