COSMIC GALAXY (3) was tightened into the bend and lost ground. KERAMUS ran inwards when improving on the home turn checking MAKE YOUR POINT (8) who lost ground and shifted outwards. |
| Race 2 | Little Brown Jug Sprint - C4 - 295 | KETUT (4) shifted outwards in the back straight keeping KNOW PRIDE (5) and HOT MANGO (8) wide on the track with JUMPIN' JULIA (7) also being slightly inconvenienced. KETUT continued his usual outward movement on the home turn with KNOW PRIDE and HOT MANGO being hampered. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295 | HOME TRUTH (5) and JOHN DORY (6) were the last pair on jumping. Into the bend MY FOOLISH HEART (3) angled inwards and tightened HOME TRUTH who lost ground. MY FOOLISH HEART then fell after being badly dragged down by JOHN DORY who also lost ground. MY FOOLISH HEART ran to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 4 | Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C3 - 520 | BOB'S EYE (2) and FEAR GO (4) were both slow from the traps. BEADMAN (6) ran wide into the first bend pushing COVER TO COVER (7) over extra ground with this pair continuing to race wide in the back straight. On the home turn COVER TO COVER and BLACK EMILY (8) came together for a stride when racing in the rear group. |
| Race 5 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C4 - 295 | SECRET SPRITE (4) received some tightening into the bend and lost ground. DYNA GROLL (7) received a slight check into the bend and dropped to the rear. KNOW WISDOM (6) was checked when racing to the outside of TURBO TUNDRA (3) on the bend with KNOW WISDOM losing ground. |
| Race 6 | Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C4 - 520 | CHEVY CHEVELLE (3) and CRINITI'S (4) were obliged to race in tight quarters in the early stages. JINJA POWER (8) was caught wide into the first bend. |
| Race 7 | Yaldhurst Hotel Sprint - C5 - 295 | DEANNE'S MAGIC (3) was last to jump with KNOW LIES (2) also settling well back. KNOW LIES then ran outwards in the back straight contacting the hind quarters of his brother KNOW THOUGHT (7) for a stride. ZEBIDIAH (8) was checked into the bend when being dragged down for a stride by KNOW LIES with ZEBIDIAH dropping to the rear. On the home turn CAWBOURNE JELLY (5) angled outwards checking COOL BEAR (6) for a stride and pushing KNOW THOUGHT over extra ground. |
| Race 8 | Shirley Vet Clinic Feature - R/A - 520 | BOTANY KEVIN (6) and CELESTRIAL MAGIC (7) were the last pair on jumping. CELESTRIAL MAGIC angled wide into the first bend pushing GAME GIRL (9) over extra ground. OPAWA STRETCH (3) and an improving BOTANY KEVIN bumped for a stride on the home turn. Following the race OPAWA STRETCH was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 9 | C.T.V. Sprint - C5 - 295 | KNOW ESCAPE (4) was a clear last at the jump. KNOW MISTAKE (2) jumped outwards on dispatch checking CAWBOURNE CHIEF (3) for a stride. RAMRADA (9) angled inwards into the bend causing tightening to KNOW ESCAPE, CAMPAIGNER (6) and CAWBOURNE CHIEF who all lost ground. |
| Race 10 | I Pave Concrete Stakes - C5 - 520 | OPAWA RAPID (6) slipped its collar during stir ups and was checked by the vet and cleared to race. RUSSELL HART (7) was last to jump. SPUD GUN (5) faltered on the first bend when leading dropping back through the field with RAW ENERGY (1) making contact in the process. SPUD GUN finished the race and was referred to the vet for assessment. INDI'S GRACE (4) received a slight check on entering the back straight. Early in the run home OPAWA RAPID ran outwards contacting RUSSELL HART for a stride. |
| Race 11 | racingdogs.co.nz Dash - C5 - 295 | PEARL'S BOY (7) was last on jumping. SWIP AND TEAR (6) was checked and lost ground into the bend as MARY MARLOW (8) ran inwards. On the home turn MER DE NOMS (1) checked outwards off runners and collided with KNOW ADVANTAGE (2) with MER DE NOMS dropping to the rear. In the home straight STING ME (4) ran outwards checking KNOW ADVANTAGE for a stride. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295 | SOME SAY (2) was last to jump. ANOTHER JEWEL (6) ran inwards in the back straight bumping with KNOW CHARITY (4). On the home turn KNOW CHARITY checked outwards off runners with RULE JUDGE JUDY (3) being inconvenienced and losing ground. |
