| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305 | COSMIC SALLY began awkwardly. IZA HUNGI was the last to leave the boxes. Shortly after the start OPALESCENT made contact with the hindquarters of BOOMERANG MAN who also shifted in making contact with the hindquarters of BEHEMOTH. Approaching the first bend when attempting to cross to the rails, COSMIC SALLY got on the heels of DARK FAERYTALES with both these dogs becoming unbalanced for several strides. Entering the first bend BOOMERANG MAN made contact with BEHEMOTH when attempting to cross to the rail. OPALESCENT and GO MAX jostled for several strides rounding the first bend. DARK FAERYTALES ran wide around the bend getting on the heels of GO MAX before checking and shifting out around this dog to obtain clear running. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305 | GO RUSSEL GO and CUTS DEEP were slow to begin. WORKING MIDNIGHT lost ground after the start after coming together with VARGA FROST. GOODTIME HELEN shifted in after the start making contact with DEATHSTAR and jostling for several strides. Entering the first bend GOODTIME HELEN lost ground after shifting in making solid contact with VARGA FROST who then shifted out. GO RUSSEL GO had to check off the heels of GOODTIME HELEN as a result. Rounding the first bend GOODTIME HELEN then shifted out making contact with GO RUSSEL GO. THUNDER TIME and VARGA FROST came together entering the final straight. |

Shortly after leaving the boxes JOHNNY ANGEL got on the heels of LITTLE VAMPIRE who became unbalanced for several strides losing momentum. GOODTIME KATE and VINNIE BAXTER came together rounding the final bend. |

Shortly after leaving the boxes REBEL CITY was hampered when ASCHENPUTTEL shifted in making contact with, and crowding this runner onto FLYING TRANCE. Entering the first bend, when racing in a handy position, SHINY UPSOME was checked between runners losing considerable ground going to the rear of the field. Rounding the bend SHEZA TERROR lost ground when coming together with MISS APOCALYPSE who was racing to the inside of this runner at the time. |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Scientific Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305 | SPOT ON MAGGIE and NO MORE LAUGHTER were slow to begin. Entering the first bend SHEZA TERROR lost ground after making contact with SHEZA FOOLING. Entering the final straight GENIA HAKA shifted out across heels to obtain clear running and into the line of NO MORE LAUGHTER who shifted wider on the track. SCARILICIOUS shifted out entering the home straight making contact with SMIRNOFF with both these runners jostling for several strides and becoming unbalanced. |
| Race 6 | Mickey's Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | There was a slight delay to the start of this race when NO NO ROMEO underwent a pre race veterinary examination at the request of the handler. Shortly after leaving the boxes KING'S SELECTION, BREAKTHRU and MASONYX were all crowded when NO NO ROMEO shifted in and MY BAD JONNY shifted out. Approaching the first bend MASONYX made contact with BREAKTHRU then shifted out slightly, making contact with KING'S SELECTION who shifted out into the line of UNO CHARM who was angling in. UNO CHARM then made contact with the hindquarters of KING'S SELECTION became unbalanced and fell. Shortly after BLACK HENNESSY got on the heels of MASONYX, who was shifting in, becoming unbalanced shifting out hampering BREAKTHRU and losing considerable ground as a result. UNO CHARM was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any injuries. |
| Race 7 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 520 | TEPIRITA TUITEKA was slow away. Entering the first bend OPIE BOSSMAN had to check when GUCCI RUSH shifted in in front of this runner. Racing down the back straight, when racing in restricted room to the inside of OPIE BOSSMAN, TEPIRITA TUITEKA checked losing several lengths. |
| Race 8 | Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305 | POPSOME TAGS and BLUE RUSH came together jumping away. Shortly after leaving the boxes KNOCKA OFF TIME shifted in making contact with BLUE RUSH with these runners jostling for several strides. Racing toward the first bend ZIPPIT SWEETIE and POPSOME TAGS jostled when POPSOME TAGS was attempting to shift in and ZIPPIT SWEETIE was looking to race away from the rails. On entering the first bend ZIPPIT SWEETIE shifted out forcing POPSOME TAGS over the heels of NINA BE GOOD who was galloped on and fell. POPSOME TAGS, unable to avoid the fallen runner, was severely hampered as a result shifting out also hampering BLUE RUSH. With both these runners losing considerable ground. POPSOME TAGS and NINA BE GOOD were referred to the vet for assessment. POPSOME TAGS was cleared of any injury. NINA BE GOOD was found to have spike wounds on a hind leg. |
| Race 9 | Gary Ross Decorator C1 - C1 - 305 | Shortly after the start HOMEBUSH STING shifted in making contact with BLAIR NINETY who then shifted in and away from this runner. HOMEBUSH STING continued to shift in crowding BLAIR NINETY in onto SEDGEBROOK LAD with these three runners jostling for several strides. BLAIR NINETY continued to race in restricted room rounding the bend then checked losing ground. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520 | MR DARCI and INNER BEAUTY came together leaving the boxes. Shortly after the start GAY THORLEY and SARAH CAMPBELL jostled for several strides. Approaching the first bend CHEVY IMPALA angled in tightening and checking SARAH CAMPBELL, SPEEDY FEET, GAY THORLEY, INNER BEAUTY, MR DARCI and THRILLING AVA. With GAY THORLEY, INNER BEAUTY and SPEEDY FEET all losing ground. Early in the final straight THRILLING AVA had to shift out across the heels of GAY THORLEY to obtain clear racing room. |
| Race 11 | The Rock 95.2FM C2 - C2 - 305 | Shortly after the start REBEL JOE shifted in making contact with TENKAY DOWN. These runners continued to make contact for some distance with TENKAY DOWN then being checked losing ground racing into the first bend when EXCESSIVE SPEED also shifted in when racing to the outside of these runners. Rounding the bend RIBA LORDA and COLD TURKEY steadied off the heels of WORKING WAIKATO who shifted out slightly dictating both these runner wider on the track. |

After the start ODE TO LIBERTY shifted in making contact with KIRIBATI GIRL who in turn shifted in making contact with NGAURUHOE. Rounding the first bend SHOWEM BABY who had improved along the rails made the bend awkwardly shifting out making contact with KIRIBATI GIRL who shifted out onto ODE TO LIBERTY who made contact with OPAWA GIFT with OPAWA GIFT and ODE TO LIBERTY losing ground. RAVEON shifted out placing CHELSEA'S BEAUTY in restricted room in the final straight with CHELSEA'S BEAUTY losing a length. |
