NONU NONU BOOM suffered a spike wound and was referred to the Vet for assessment. NOAKI HURRICANE and PAR bumped together going into the first turn and they went back to the rear.. NOAKI HURRICANE recovered well to make up ground and finished in 2nd place. |
| Race 2 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | HOMEBUSH LIGNITE was slow to begin losing two lengths. MICK MANIA, UNO ALLEGRO and EVER SO HOPEFUL were all checked going into the bend and they went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. |

SIR RICHIE recovered the best of the three affected dogs and he finished in 3rd place. |

MOODY MAN which was following was hampered and also lost ground. HOMEBUSH SARGE regained his feet and fiinished onto the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 5 | Brad Canty Dash For Cash Semi-finals (Group 2) - C5q - 305 Heat 3 | CAWBOURNE HENRY shifted in going to the first corner colliding with ATE POWER which in turn made firm contact with IBIZA FLING which lost ground. Ashort distance further on, boss lady sloy AND BOTANY JESSIE came together and BOTANY JESSIE then ran wide into the bend losing ground and she dropped back and finished in last place. |

| Race 7 | www.racingdogs.co.nz Spion Rose Semi- Finals (Group 1) - C5q - 520 Heat 1 | PIGGY BACK and INDIANA IZMIR were a little slow to begin and settled back. HOMEBUSH CHOPPER shifted in soon after the start and crowded several runners for a short distance with INDI RHODE the most affected and she went back to last but made up ground well to finish in 2nd place. One of the favourites KATCHA FIRE appeared to have an awkward galloping action rounding the first bend and then drifted back through the field going down the back straight and finished five lengths last. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a stopper pad injury but no stand down was given by the Vet as the bitch has no engagements in the next few weeks. The winner JANNIK was sent for a swab but was released without a sample being collected due to a possible security breach at the kennels following the race. |

OSTIS EXPERIENCE shifted out abruptly on the first corner and checked SPEED LEGEND which was forced wide into the bend losing three lengths. |

Soon after, OSTI'S PURSUIT shifted out abruptly forcing BIGTIME JET wide on the first bend. |
| Race 11 | Wanganui Jockey Club C4 - C4 - 305 | The start of this race was delayed by 3 minutes at the request of Race Day Control. UNO FLASH shifted out abruptly approaching the home straight and severely checked JACKSON TOWN which fell and BELKARA which lost several lengths and all chance. JACKSON TOWN regained her feet to finish onto the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 12 | Wanganui Security C4 - C4 - 305 | EXPLODABLE and MATILDA'S BABE bumped together when the start was made, became a little unbalanced and settled back. EXPLODABLE was checked going into the bend and lost two lengths. |
