| Race 1 | Super Pets Stakes - C0 - 520 | LOUISA'S GIRL (3) was tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear. At the end of the back straight LOUISA'S GIRL checked outwards off the back of a weakening NERO HAKA (2) and ran outwards pushing FLIP FLIPPA (4) very wide with both runners losing their chances. The film was not conclusive as to whether any muzzle contact was made as LOUISA'S GIRL ran outwards. Consequently LOUISA'S GIRL was stood down to complete a satisfactory trial as per Rule 81. ANOTHER RIDDLE (7) dropped out over the concluding stages and was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 2 | Garrard's Horse And Hound Sprint - C0 - 295 | HOMEBUSH SAXON (4) and HOMEBUSH RIGBY (8) were both very hard to load away. These two runners will both be boxed first in their immediate starts. TOKEN STU (3) and HOMEBUSH SAXON were both very slow to jump. MONACO DENVER (2) ran outwards in the back straight and checked off the back of HOMEBUSH RIGBY in the process. ZEE BRUGGE (7) and MACGYVER RAMA (6) came together into the bend when vying for the lead with both runners losing ground. As ZEE BRUGGE drifted HOMEBUSH SAXON and MONACO DENVER were both checked when taking evasive action. |
| Race 3 | Yella Mustard At Stud Dash - C0 - 295 | HOMEBUSH KIZZY (9) was a clear last at the jump. CHERRY CRUSHER (6) ran inwards in the early stages colliding with MAX STEEL (3). Into the bend HOMEBUSH RAGO (2) was badly tightened as ROSE BOW (8) crossed to the rail with HOMEBUSH RAGO dropping to the rear. HOMEBUSH KIZZY was inconvenienced in this incident. |
| Race 4 | christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Stakes - C0 - 520 | TRUMPED UP (5), ARCHIE'S INDY (7) and OHOKA FAITH (8) were the last trio in a straggly start. RUTH'S RAIDER (2) was tightened and checked into the first bend and lost ground. Soon after the favourite OHOKA FAITH was checked and lost ground. HOMEBUSH TITAN (1) received a slight check on the home turn and lost momentum. |
| Race 5 | The Miller Bar & Cafe Sprint - C0 - 295 | JUNIOR CLEEVE (3) was slow away and OCHE (1) was very awkwardly from the traps settling last. |
| Race 6 | Bill's Bar & Bistro Stakes Final - C1f - 520 | LOCHINVAR CAMARO (9) dropped to the rear in the early stages and remained last and wide throughout. WHAT I LIKE (6) ran outwards on the first bend pushing MR. BARRY (7) over extra ground. Soon after OPAWA CUDDLES (10) ran outwards severely checking WHAT I LIKE and MR. BARRY with this pair losing many lengths. |
| Race 7 | Flair Sprint - C2 - 295 | ANOTHER SNAZZA (2) was last to jump. OPAWA MARG (6) stumbled and came together with SMASH RUMOUR (7) in the early stages dropping to a clear last. SMASH RUMOUR and GOGO RIOLI (8) brushed together on three occasions in the back straight. SARAH'S DOMAIN (1) was tightened on the bend and lost some momentum when angling outwards. |
| Race 8 | Coalgate Tavern Stakes - C2 - 520 | OPAWA PAUL (4) was tightened between runners on the first bend losing ground. GIRL PRIDE (7) was held up for room when improving into the final bend. At the lure GIRL PRIDE appeared to be favouring her right hind leg with the vet confirming that she was suffering from cramp. |
| Race 9 | Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C2 - 295 | MULBERRY BROOK (8) was last to jump. BOTANY PETE (5) and NITRO MABEL (6) jostled for a few strides in the early stages. SALUTE TO RADAR (2) and STARBURST HANNAH (3) were both tightened into the bend and lost ground. |
| Race 10 | Pretty Good At Stud Distance - C1d - 645 | OPAWA JED (4) was tightened by OPAWA TANIA (7) into the first bend and ran outwards pushing CHILL OUT RALPH (5) on to OPAWA CARLOS (9) with this pair dropping to the rear. |
| Race 11 | Garden City Chem-Dry Sprint Final - C1f - 295 | ABOGADO (2) and NITRO EXPRESS (4) were the last to jump. WEE TERRA (6) and QUEDRAGO (7) were both slightly checked as SPRINKLES (8) crossed them in the back straight. ABOGADO checked off the heels of SPRINKLES on the bend and lost ground with WEE TERRA being badly checked in behind and QUEDRAGO being forced wide. |
| Race 12 | Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295 | AVERSION (2) and GLENN IS GOODSEY (8) were the last pair on jumping. AVERSION was badly checked into the bend and dropped to a clear last. OPAWA ALBIE (6) was checked from behind on the home turn and lost momentum. |
| Race 13 | C1 Tiered Sprint - Tier 2 - 295 | OPAWA STELLA (5) was last to jump. SCOTSOME POWER (9) and BIZARRO (3) were both checked in the back straight and lost ground. |
| Race 14 | C2 Tiered Sprint - Tier 2 - 295 | LA FONTAINE (1) and NEW YORK AFFAIR (2) were a shade slow to jump and this pair were then both tightened into the bend dropping further behind the body of the field. |
| Race 15 | C1 Tiered Sprint - Tier 2 - 295 | OPAWA HOG (2) and WUNZEE (10) were the last pair on jumping. CAWBOURNE PILFER (3) and FLIRT WITH ME (1) were tightened into the bend and lost ground. |
