HOMEBUSH PEPPER shifted out going into the bend dictating CEDRIC BAXTER out into the line of WORKING MIDNIGHT which was checked losing three lengths. JOHNNY ANGEL raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground. |
| Race 3 | J P Print, Petone C0 Final - C0f - 520 | VARGA FROST, ARCTIC THUNDER and ICAHN bumped together soon after the start and lost momentum. ICAHN checked over the heels of ARCTIC THUNDER going into the first bend and shifted out to race very wide for the remainder of the race and finished in last place. |
| Race 4 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C0 - C0 - 305 | BLU DESIRE was a little slow to begin and settled back. GOODTIME HELEN and DEATHSTAR collided and lost ground going into the bend and a short distance further on, RIKKI'S REBEL galloped on the back of GOODTIME HELEN which lost several lengths. DEATHSTAR was also affected in the incident but recovered to finish in 3rd place. HOMEBUSH SAXON collided with HOMEBUSH HAVEN going into the bend and both lost ground and HOMEBUSH SAXON and RIKKI'S REBEL bumped together twice approaching the home turn and both lost ground and finished at the rear. |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Scientific Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305 | SEDGEBROOK LAD began awkwardly losing three lengths. MIGHTY MONICA was galloped on by GONE AWOL going into the bend and they both lost several lengths and finished at the rear. |
| Race 6 | Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305 | RUAPEHU and DODGY POCKETS shifted in from the start and caused checks to BACKYARD QUEEN and BLACK TANK which both lost ground , went back to the rear and they stayed there throughout the race. |
| Race 7 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 520 | MARIAH shifted in from the start and caused checks to TEPIRITA TUITEKA, PADDY BAXTER, MR. DARCI and OPIE BOSSMAN with OPIE BOSSMAN and MR. DARCI being the most affected. MARIAH shifted in going into the back straight and checked PADDY BAXTER which went back to last. |

| Race 9 | Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520 | OPAWA LEANNE was slow to begin losing three lengths and she then raced wide on the first bend over extra ground. KAY ROAD, DISTASTEFUL and TEN POINT ONE jostled together going to the first corner and became unbalanced for a few strides. KAY ROAD was checked and fell on the home turn and GUCCI RUSH, DISTASTEFUL and OPAWA LEANNE were all hampered in the incident. KAY ROAD regained her feet and finished onto the lure and he was referred to the Vet for assessment. |
| Race 10 | The Rock 95.2FM C2 Heat 1 - C2q - 305 Heat 1 | BIGTIME CHIP and TENKAY DOWN bumped together for a short distance soon after the start and TENKAY DOWN settled back. KIM DOTCOM shifted out on the home turn and forced TENKAY DOWN very wide and they both covered extra ground. |
| Race 11 | Gary Ross Decorator C2 Heat 2 - C2q - 305 Heat 2 | CHELSEA'S BEAUTY was slow to get into stride early in the race but then made a forward move going into the bend and kept up a strong run to finish in 3rd place. CHELSEA'S BEAUTY was observed to be uncomfortable with suspected cramp following the race, was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. JOHN DORY, HOMEBUSH ALEX and BLACK MERCEDES were checked losing three lengths going into the bend. |
| Race 12 | Christmas At The Races 13th-14th-20th December C2 Heat 3 - C2q - 305 Heat 3 | REBEL JOE slipped on jumping from the boxes, went down behind losing several lengths and was classed as falling. THRILLING SQUEAL shifted away from the rail going to the first turn and jostled with JUMPIN SALLY for a short distance and they both lost ground. SHOWEM BABY shifted out going into the bend and forced SHE'S TOP NOTCH out over extra ground. |
