Track: Good A broken sprinkler at the end of the back straight meant that a small part of the track was not irrigated until Race 10 but the track remained in a safe state.

Race 1	CENTRAL WATER CARRIERS - C0 - 390	FANFARE (4), BURNO (7) and ADMIRAL ADAM (8) were the last trio from the traps. BURNO ran inwards causing a severe check to FANFARE in the early stages with both dogs losing their chances. FANFARE was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 2	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - C0 - 457	OPAWA LAUREN (3) ran outwards in the back straight colliding with RADICAL RUFUS (9) and HAMMOCK (10) who lost ground. into the bend CAWBOURNE TIP (1) angled outwards causing SEA SPRAY BORIS (7) to be checked and lose ground.
Race 3	SGRC $26 FIVE WIRE MUZZLE STAKES - C1 - 390	CASSIE HAKA (4) angled inwards in the early stages tightening OPAWA HOG (2) and CHARLES FREDRICK (1) who settled at the rear. WUNZEE (6) angled inwards on to HOMEBUSH CRASH (5) and JOEY'S SECRET (9) into the bend. Soon after OPAWA HOG ran outwards pushing SMASHIN' TIME (7) over extra ground.
Race 4	WILLY'S FLOORING LTD - C2 - 390	TEAM DREAM (7) and VIENNA (8) collided at the start. BLUE GALE RISE (1) shifted up the track into the bend checking SAM'S FLYIN NORM (2) who in turn ran outwards checking FIREMAN'S ROCKET (5) and VIENNA with VIENNA losing many lengths and her chance.
Race 5	ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C3 - 390	BLACK TRIGGER (6), BE PREPARED (7) and JUST A MATE (8) were the last trio on jumping. SEA SPRAY DORIS (3) was badly checked into the bend when racing to the inside of HOMEBUSH HAYLEY (4). SEA SPRAY DORIS then raced wide into the home straight before making ground well late in the piece.
Race 6	ADDED ENERGY STAKES - C1 - 457	BAD WEEK (4) and OPAWA STELLA (2) collided in the early stages. OPAWA STELLA was tightened in the back straight as BAD WEEK crossed to the rail with OPAWA STELLA dropping to the rear. BAD WEEK checked off the heels of OPAWA CASSIDY (5) into the bend and lost a length.
Race 7	BRENDON BURKE @ FIRST NATIONAL - C2 - 457	OPAWA BART (8) was last at the jump. SMASH DORA (7) ran inwards in the back straight checking SMASH RUMOUR (6) and SHIRAZ ROSE (9) who lost ground.
Race 8	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C3 - 457	GLASSES UP (10) was last to jump. OPAWA BOMB (6) ran inwards coming together with COVER TO COVER (4) in the early stages with COVER TO COVER losing ground. Into the bend RED TYPHOON (3) was tightened and lost ground with kennelmate GLASSES UP being inconvenienced in behind.
Race 9	COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C4 - 457	GRANT A WISH (6) was last to jump. In the back straight GRANT A WISH ran inwards as BOTANY SEATON (1) angled outwards resulting in BOTANY KEVIN (2) and HUSTLER AMBITION (4) being badly checked and HUSTLER AMBITION falling. In the early stages of the run home a brief lack of power to the lure resulted in the pacemaking CHARLIE'S CHOICE getting extremely close to the lure before the lure pulled away to the line. Stewards reviewed the replay and determined that the lead dog never touched the lure and the closeness had no affect on the result of the race in terms of Rule 75.1 with payout being duly authorised.
Race 10	100% SELECTRIX - C4/5 - 457	THRILLING MARTY (2) and OPAWA WEBBY (4) were checked into the bend and lost ground with BOTANY PRANCER (1) also inconvenienced for a few strides. On the bend OPAWA CASPER (6) clipped the heels of THRILLING MARTY as that runner shifted outwards with OPAWA CASPER falling. This dog was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have minor abrasions.
Race 11	SGRC $50 LEATHER LEADS - C4 - 390	DYNA GROLL (8) and OPAWA LEGS (9) were the last pair from the traps. ANOTHER JEWEL (3) checked off the hind quarters of VALIDATION (6) on the turn and dropped to the rear. VALIDATION then ran inwards on the home turn checking SMASH AMEGO (2) who lost ground.
Race 12	justracing.com.au - C5 - 390	ROSCA (7) and COOL BEAR (8) were the last from the traps. STING ME (2) ducked outwards at the jump coming together with SOZIN'S COMET (3) for a stride. On the bend CAWBOURNE QUEEN (1) angled outwards checking OSCAR TUIVASA (5) and ROQETTE (6) with this pair losing their chances.
