Track: Good The track was well presented and the meeting proceeded smoothly.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: The scales were not giving accurate readings in the early stages of the kennelling process but with adjustment, they did weigh correctly for the later part of the kennelling. As a result, this will be taken into account at the Greyhounds next start.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	COSMIC SALLY shifted in abruptly from the start and collided with SECONDS GOOD and both became unbalanced and lost ground. SECONDS GOOD then shifted out and collided with SMIRNOFF with SECONDS GOOD the most affected and she settled at the rear and stayed there throughout the race.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	The favourite BIGTIME CHIP began very awkwardly losing four lengths but recovered well to finish in 3rd place. RED HOT DUTCH checked off the heels of SHELDON BAXTER going into the bend and lost two lengths. A short distance further on SHELDON BAXTER, MASONYX and UNO CHARM came together and jostled with all three losing two lengths in the incident.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C1 - C1 - 457	CLUAIN MEALA began awkwardly and settled back. OPAWA LAZ shifted in going to the first turn taking OPAWA LEANNE in onto BILLY HOLMES which was hampered and lost ground. OPAWA LEANNE raced wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway C2 - C2 - 375	KOTUMBA and KAISER MAX began awkwardly and settled back. CAWBOURNE BANKSY galloped on the back of TEN ELEVEN going into the bend and they both lost ground with TEN ELEVEN the most affected. TEN ELEVEN then shifted in on the bend making firm contact with the rail and losing several lengths and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have bruising and abrasions.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 - C2 - 457	CAWBOURNE LOGAN was slow to begin and then checked over the heels of WHAT'S UP GEE losing three lengths. ACTING UP shifted in and hampered HOME BREWER going to the first corner and a short distance further on, HOME BREWER checked over the heels of WHAT'S UP GEE going into the bend and lost a length.
Race 6	Marton Dash C3 - C3 - 375	THRILLING CAIRO was slow to begin losing three lengths but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. EXPONENTIAL LILY was held up for some distance just in behind the leading group going into the bend and once into the clear, was making ground when he was bumped and unbalanced when SHAGA BANGA BANG and JACK'S FIRST shifted out on the home turn.
Race 7	Ashurst Stakes C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	NONU NONU BOOM began very awkwardly losing several lengths and all chance and he tailed the field throughout the race. HELLO ELLO shifted in going into the bend and checked CHEVY VOLT which lost four lengths. BIGTIME JET and DECEIVER bumped together going into the bend and became unbalanced.
Race 8	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4 - C4 - 375	All clear.
Race 9	Cloverlea Dash C4 - C4 - 375	ENABLE shifted out from the start and hampered BOB'S YOUR UNCLE and WINNING KNOCKA which both lost ground. BOB'S YOUR UNCLE was tightened between runners on the bend and went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C5 - C5 - 375	SNUFFALOPOGAS began awkwardly losing four lengths and all chance. RED MOOVA HOOVA shifted in going into the bend and checked UNO ALLEGRO which went back and out colliding with REAL VAIN and they lost several lengths.
Race 11	North Island Challenge Stakes C5 - C5f - 457	SPEED LEGEND was slow to begin losing three lengths. EL JETTA shifted out going into the bend and caused checks to SPEED LEGEND and OPAWA JED which both lost ground with SPEED LEGEND the most affected and he lost four lengths.
Race 12	Foxton Stakes C3 - C3 - 457	DEANNE'S FANTASY shifted in from the start and hampered JUST MAC and RED CRYSTAL with JUST MAC the most affected and he went back to last.
