Weather: Cloudy
Track: Dead After overnight rain the track was soft leading in to the pre race trials, it improved to be graded as Dead for the early races The outside of the Track dried considerably towards the middle of the meeting with a race delayed an extra 2 minutes to allow more watering. There was a torrential downpour later in the programme with the track being downgraded to Dead for the last race. All equipment operated well through out the day.

Race 1	Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C0 - 375	There was no head on coverage recorded for this race LIGEIRO missed the start by 10 lengths, nearing the first turn SALVIA was forced to check off the heels of ODDITIES as this runner improved on his outer then crossed to the rail, ODDITIES lost ground steadily there after finishing in last placing at the line.
Race 2	0800 4 Down Cow Series Final - C0f - 457	FANCY ROVER ( fav ) dwelt slightly at the start ,from box 8 he was forced to race wide to improve his position, he was able to get down to the rail nearing the home turn finishing strongly in to 2nd placing at the line. Racing in to the first turn OBI WAN KENOBI angled in on to JELLY JEM as FANCY ROVER passed them tightening these runners for a couple of strides, further out HONEY QUEEN ran on to the back of BENGHAZ, COAL SHUTTLE ran on to the back of HONEY QUEEN, all these runners were checked losing ground.
Race 3	Fond Foods LTD Sprint - C1 - 375	FOUND ROMAN stumbled on leaving the boxes being last in the early run, he made rapid ground around the field to carry on to win, racing in to the first turn ROTOVEGAS SMASH was checked as he caught the heels of an improving LEGAL AID along the inner ,ROTOVEGAS SMASH lost momentum plus a couple of lengths running on late for 4th placing at the line. MAJOR TOM was bumped soon after the start as PATS ALL ROUND got in to stride, MAJOR TOM raced out wide there after being uncomfortable in his galloping action finishing several lengths in the rear at the line MAJOR TOM was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 4	MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C4 - 375	Soon after the start LOCKEY'S CALL tried to cut across the face of the field forcing SENORITA CHANG across on to REBEL KHAN checking GAINSFORD, LE ROUX and TOI SHAN these runners lost ground at this point, a few strides on REBEL KHAN angled outwards across the heels of THRILLING ABRA taking GAINSFORD wide on to the bend . TOI SHAN recovered well from the earlier interference to finish strongly in to 2nd placing at the line
Race 5	Clubhouse Sports Bar Sprint - C1 - 375	In the run to the first turn TIGER'S IDOL crossed inwards bumping in to the hindquarters of BOSS APPEAL, both runners were hampered for a couple of strides, soon after TIGER'S IDOL stumbled going back through the field to the rear, he never recovered finishing several lengths in the rear at the line THIS TIME PEDRO and WHERE'S THE CAT raced out wide in to the bend as they avoided TIGER'S IDOL as this runner was going back through the field. TIGER'S IDOL was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found
Race 6	Hautapu Veterinary Clinic Series Final - C1f - 457	In the run to the first turn MRS PUNTING angled inwards on to the shoulder of MINNIE FOR MUM checking this runner slightly, MINNIE FOR MUM went back to a clear last in the running at this point, soon after racing in to the first turn THRILLING REBEL ran in on to CALM NUSKA both dogs were checked losing some ground. MINNIE FOR MUM made ground in the run home to finish in 7th placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 7	All Sew Embroidery Series Heat 1 - C2q - 375 Heat 1	RANDO REASON raced towards the leaders until nearing the home turn where he was tightened between runners and was pushed out on to heels as ENDORSE raced through on his inner, RANDO REASON was buffeted with no room for a few strides almost catching the heels of OPAWA JOHNNY racing in to the home straight, RANDO REASON lost ground to the rear finishing several lengths in last placing at the line. RANDO REASON was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 8	All Sew Embroidery Series Heat 2 - C2q - 375 Heat 2	KAISER MAX and CRIXUS bumped as they came away from the boxes Racing in to the home straight TRICKY GALE and BIGTIME DRIFTER came together when both were towards the rear of the field
Race 9	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C5 - 375	CAWBOURNE RAVE began awkwardly from box 3, CALAMITY FREE ran inwards checking PREDATOR DRONE who crossed over heels coming together with GRIZZ as they raced in to the first turn, PREDATOR DRONE kept on angling outwards being the widest runner on to the top bend. Racing on to the top bend EXPLOSIVE OSTI ( fav ) was sandwiched between LADAKH and UNO LACHLAN for some distance eventually being tightened back a length, EXPLOSIVE OSTI was buffeted for a couple of strides nearing the home turn losing ground back to the rear finishing a few lengths in the rear at the line EXPLOSIVE OSTI was referred to the vet for assessment
Race 10	Palamountains Nutrition Stakes - C3 - 457	Racing in to the first turn there was tightening and buffeting as WABI SABI angled across on to HANDS OFF pushing him in on to HOT POOTIE and CASH KNOCKA, CASH KNOCKA went back towards the rear, he was hampered soon after as THRILLING TREMOR came through on his inner, CASH KNOCKA lost more ground to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention.
Race 11	GAP Kennels @ Karapiro Sprint - C3 - 375	From the boxes TIME TO FIND,EXCITING DREAM and TRILES all bumped together Racing in to the home straight STAT ME UP ran out on to UTAH BOLT, UTAH BOLT recovered quickly to finish in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 12	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C5 - 375	This race was run in a torrential downpour. All clear
Race 13	[email protected] Stakes - C4/5 - 457	In the run to the first turn there was tightening between LOCHINVAR BRANDO, HUSTLER and CODE NINE, HUSTLER was tightened and checked back from between runners where he drifted outwards on to OSTIS EXPERIENCE who went back to the rear . Racing across the top OSTIS EXPERIENCE attempted to improve through the field was held up for a couple of strides, soon after in to the home straight OSTIS EXPERIENCE was checked as THRILLING CHARGE crossed to the rail, OSTIS EXPERIENCE ran on strongly in the concluding stages making ground in to 6th placing at the line.
