Track: Good The track was well presented but with hot and windy conditions, the Curator was required to keep the water truck going throughout the meeting.

Judicial report: J.T.McInerney the Trainer of SHELDON BAXTER was fined $ 100-00 under Rule 69.11 when the dog was presented 1.7 kilograms down in weight from its last start on 13.11.13.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305	MADDIE BRAND slipped its collar and escaped briefly prior to stirrups but was quickly captured, examined by the Vet and cleared to start. HOMEBUSH VERONA and SHEZA HUM DINGA were slow to begin losing two lengths. HOMEBUSH VERONA recovered well to win the race. CEDRIC BAXTER, OPALESCENT, ALL FOR ONE and SHEZA HUM DINGA all raced wide approaching the final turn into the straight, losing ground in the process. ALL FOR ONE and BOOMERANG MAN were checked back to the rear going into the first bend and BOOMERANG MAN was checked again approaching the home straight and he finished in last place.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305	LOST IN LIGHT shifted in soon after the start and crowded GO MAX for a short distance and GO MAX lost four lengths. NERO HAKA shifted out going to the first corner and hampered COSMIC SALLY for a short distance and they both became unbalanced and lost ground.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 520	ARCTIC THUNDER raced wide into the first bend but then shifted in across behind NOPEE checking that runner which faltered and quickly eased out of the race with an injury. NOPEE was referred to the Vet for assessment Following this race it was reported to the Stewards that the winner MISS COOL may have been showing signs of being in season and she was inspected by the Vet who confirmed that she was in season.
Race 4	Morrie Gibbons Signs C0 - C0 - 305	PRANCING BEE, HOMEBUSH SAXON and JASPER HAKA were slow to begin and settled back. JASPER HAKA checked off the back of SNIFF THE BRANDY going into the bend losing two lengths and a short distance further on WORKING MIDNIGHT shifted out slightly and hampered SUNDAY DRIVER and SNIFF THE BRANDY and they were forced to race wide on the bend covering extra ground and finished at the rear.
Race 5	Palamountains Scientific Nutrition C1 - C1 - 520	SOME GENES shifted out from the start and checked BUSTER BOY which lost ground. BUSTER BOY checked off the back of SARAH CAMPBELL going to the first corner and again on the first bend and they both lost ground in the incidents. WORKING WAIKATO was checked and ran wide into the first bend.
Race 6	Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305	BILLY HOLMES and HOMEBUSH CRASH bumped together when the start was made and BILLY HOLMES lost ground and settled back. HOMEBUSH CRASH then shifted in and checked BAD WEEK and PATRICK STAR and they both settled back. BAD WEEK shifted out on the home turn and bumped PATRICK STAR which was forced very wide over extra ground and he finished last.
Race 7	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 520	DARBY LANE was very slow to begin losing four lengths and she stayed back throughout the race. OPAWA LEANNE and ADDA BOY ZEKE collided going into the first corner and lost ground. OPAWA LEANNE ran wide into the home straight.
Race 8	Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH GRETA shifted in going into the bend and checked CASSIE HAKA which shifted out colliding with WUNYA and they both lost four lengths and finished at the rear. CHARMING CHUCK appeared to suffer an injury while pulling up at the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment
Race 9	The Rock 95.2FM C1 Final - C1f - 305	RUAPEHU and SHE'S TOP NOTCH jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and soon after there was general tightening and RUAPEHU, SHE'S TOP NOTCH, BOTANY DAVE and CAWBOURNE BANKSY were all checked losing four lengths and they never recovered.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520	TEN POINT ONE shifted out from the start and forced RICH LIST out onto ENHANCER which was checked losing two lengths. ANOTHER FANTASY was checked entering the final bend and went back onto ENHANCER with both dogs losing two lengths.
Race 11	Gary Ross Decorator C1 - C1 - 305	SEDGEBROOK SKITE and PETRA HAKA were slow to begin losing two lengths. SEDGEBROOK SKITE and BOOT THE CASH raced wide covering extra ground on the bend.
Race 12	Christmas At The Races 6th-13th-14th-20th December C1 - C1 - 305	WUNZEE, EXACT MASTER and POLAR SNOW WHITE jostled together when the start was made. POLAR SNOW WHITE then shifted in and OPEHU TIGER shifted out and this resulted in checks to DODGY POCKETS, SEDGEBROOK LAD, UNO CHARM and SHELDON BAXTER which all lost ground. EXACT MASTER was checked and forced wide going into the bend.
