Track: Good Another great day weather wise in Wanganui and once again the Track staff had to apply a lot of water and the track was kept in good racing order throughout the day.

Incident Reports

Race Number	Race Name	Incident Report
Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C1 - C1 - 305	BILLY BRAND shifted in abruptly from the start and checked PETRA HAKA and HOMEBUSH JULIE which both lost three lengths and CHARLIES PAL and MORNING LIGHT were also hampered in the incident. BILLY BRAND galloped on the back of MORNING LIGHT going into the bend and MORNING LIGHT lost several lengths and finished in last place. BILLY BRAND shifted in on the bend and hampered HOMEBUSH JULIE which lost ground.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C1 - C1 - 305	WORKING WAIKATO shifted in from the start and bumped RED HOT DUTCH which also shifted in slightly and brushed with JUMPIN SALLY and REBEL CITY. REBEL CITY and RED HOT DUTCH both shifted ground and collided entering the home straight and they lost three lengths.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C2 - C2 - 305	ODE TO LIBERTY shifted in from the start and hampered EXPONENTIAL LILY and EXCESSIVE SPEED for a short distance. General tightening going into the bend resulted in checks to TENKAY DOWN, EXCESSIVE SPEED and KEZZ and they lost ground and stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 4	Palamountains Scientific Nutrition C2 - C2 - 305	QUEEN COBRA raced in restricted room between WHERE'S RICAN and HOMEBUSH RICK going into the bend and was checked back to the rear. A short distance further on, SUPREME SHELLEEN was checked and she lost three lengths. SUPREME SHELLEEN and HOMEBUSH RICK came together and bumped when racing at the rear on the home turn.
Race 5	Morrie Gibbons Signs C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	RED CRYSTAL clipped the heels of ANOTHER COURSE on the first corner and fell heavily and she was referred to the Vet for assessment and no injury detected but was stood down for 5 days to recover from the fall. CAWBOURNE BREE shifted out on the home turn and bumped with NOAKI HURRICANE for a stride.
Race 6	Mickey's Super Liquor C3 - C3 - 305	THRILLING SQUEAL shifted out from the start and hampered WORKING WAIKATO for a short distance. FLYING BLAKE checked off the heels of ALL THE RAGE going into the bend and shifted out hampering FLYING FLYNN and they both lost two lengths.
Race 7	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	HEY YOU was slow to begin losing three lengths but he made up ground well with the assisstance of a clear inside run and finished in 3rd place. WATERBUG shifted out slightly going into the bend and hampered RED MOOVA HOOVA and CAWBOURNE BULLY which both lost ground. A short distance further on, WEE DIGER shifted out and hampered WATERBUG and FLY CANARY FLY which both lost ground. CAWBOURNE BULLY was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a toe injury.
Race 8	The Rock 95.2FM c4/5 - C4/5 - 305	TIME'S UP, ARMED FORCES and ENGLISH HONEY jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and then TIME'S UP went far enough ahead to dictate the line of the other two which were both checked and ENGLISH HONEY made contact with the rail and they finished in the last three places. ENGLISH HONEY was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have suffered some grazing and bruising.
Race 9	Wanganui Security C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	TALK IT OVER was slow to begin losing three lengths. CRYSTAL WAVE shifted in and hampered MATILDA'S BABE going into the bend and she went back a length and was struck from behind by TALK IT OVER with both dogs losing ground.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	LAUGH LIKE SANTA and BIGTIME JET were both bumped and unbalanced going into the first corner losing two lengths and they stayed well back for the remainder of the race.
Race 11	Gary Ross Decorator C4 - C4 - 305	BOTANY JESSIE shifted in going into the first turn and crowded OPAWA SISTER, ALMOST GOT IT and EMMA MARIE and they all lost ground. BOTANY JESSIE shifted out approaching the home turn and then shifted back in and clipped the heels of OPAWA SISTER and fell. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have some minor grazing and bruising.
Race 12	Christmas @ The Races 6th-13th-14th 20th December C4 - C4 - 305	VICKI'S QUEST shifted in and bumped ATTIRE soon after the start and he lost three lengths but recovered well to finish in 4th place. SCOTT NO MONEY was handy in 2nd place going to the first corner but went off stride and drifted quickly back to the rear finishing several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have gracilus muscle pain.
