| Race 1 | CENTRAL WATER CARRIERS - C0 - 390 | BURNO, HAMPDEN LOUIE and ANOTHER RIDDLE were all slow to begin. HAMPDEN HEWEY and DOLEUZE made contact shortly after the jump. HANNA THE SPANNA shifted inwards in the run to the bend checking HAMPDEN HEWEY. Shortly afterwards HAMPDEN HEWEY shifted outwards checking DOLEUZE. HAMPDEN HEWEY raced wide into the bend forcing DOLEUZE and ANOTHER RIDDLE wider on the track. HAMPDEN LOUIE then ran wide on the bend making contact with DOLEUZE. which was forced wide. |
| Race 2 | ADDED ENERGY STAKES - C0 - 390 | MITCHELL DEAN ran in sharply at the start checking CEE ACH GEE. ADMIRAL ADAM veered inwards over the early stages checking HAMPDEN DEWEY and MISTY AS which both lost momentum. CEE AH GEE checked off the heels of MITCHELL DEAN on the bend. CEE ACH GEE was referred to the veterinarian and stood down for 14 days after suffering lameness in the left fore tricep. |

On the bend PAYMENT DUE shifted inwards striking WUNZEE with both these runners losing ground. On the bend HAZZA'S LAD shifted ground inconveniencing LACHIE'S LAD and OKUKU DREAMER. |
| Race 4 | ASCOT PARK HOTEL - C1 - 390 | GYPSY HUNTER begun awkwardly. Shortly after the jump JOEY'S SECRET shifted inwards contacting GYPSY HUNTER. On the bend WHAT I LIKE shifted outwards with a resulting check to ABOUND. THEOKOLES and ABOUND bumped on several occasions on the bend. |
| Race 5 | SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C2 - 390 | AYKROYD and STARBURST BENNY were slow to begin. SMASH DORA checked off the heels of VIENNA in the run to the bend. STARBURST BENNY shifted inwards on the bend with SMASH DORA being tightened for room. AYKROYD shifted outwards rounding the bend checking ALL TOO HARD with SMASH RUMOUR being inconvenienced. AYKROYD checked off the back of SMASH RUMOUR just prior to the home straight with ALL TOO HARD having its line dictated. |
| Race 6 | HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARGARET TURNER - C3 - 390 | SARAH'S DOMAIN and BLACK TRIGGER bumped shortly after the start. SOME SAY shifted inwards on the bend checking HOMEBUSH HAYLEY and TURBO TUNDRA. BLACK TRIGGER, TURBO TUNDRA and BOTANY SEATON all come together on the bend with TURBO TUNDRA receiving a check. FALSE STEP ran outwards sharply on the home bend when checking off the heels of BLACK TRIGGER. TURBO TUNDRA which had been racing wide was taken even wider ON THE TRACK BY false step. |
| Race 7 | 100% SELECTRIX - C4 - 390 | OPAWA WALLY checked off the heels of COOL BEAR rounding the bend striking the hind quarters of ISABELLE DOMAIN with OPAWA WALLY losing several lengths and its momentum. GLASSES UP and SMASH AMEGO bumped in the home straight. |
| Race 8 | COLORMARK SYSTEMS LTD - C4 - 457 | SPUD GUN was checked at the start when racing between CAWBOURNE WITCH and OPAWA STYLE. GRANT A WISH was buffeted over the early stages by BONE NERD which had been dictated outwards by DYNA GROLL.. SPUD GUN and CAWBOURNE WITCH brushed on several occasions racing to the bend. OPAWA STYLE was tightened between SPUD GUN and BONE NERD resulting in OPAWA STYLE stumbling losing several lengths. |
| Race 9 | Mervyn Eade Memorial Rookie Run Final - C0f - 457 | TOTALLY TOSTED jumped awkwardly. Shortly after the start HARLEM HAKA shifted inwards hindering CAWBOURNE ONYX. NO MORE BEERSIES and ROBBIE made heavy contact through the early stages with OPAWA LAZ and TEPIRITA ENFORCE both being tightened. As a result OPAWA LAZ made contact with the running rail. OPAWA LAZ ran outwards on the bend forcing CAWBOURNE ONYX wider on the track. TEPIRITA ENFORCE and CAWBOURNE WAR made contact just prior to the home straight. OPAWA LAZ was referred to the vet for assessment with no injury evident. |
| Race 10 | www.charlotteandsam.co.nz - C2 - 457 | CAWBOURNE MERC was slow to begin. CAWBOURNE POLLY shifted outwards at the jump checking OPAWA BART. BLUSHING BELLE ran outwards on the bend checking CAWBOURNE MERC and OPAWA NATTY with the trailing OPAWA BART being inconvenienced. |
| Race 11 | WILLY'S FLOORING LTD - C5 - 457 | HOMEBUSH CHOPPER, NO UNDIES SUNDAY and OPAWA RAPID all made contact at the start. CABOUL and OPAWA CASPER made heavy contact racing to the bend. CABOUL checked off the heels of OPAWA RAPID just prior to the home straight forcing NO UNDIES SUNDAY wide on the track. |
