| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C1 - C1 - 305 | One of the favourites YEAH NAH began awkwardly losing three lengths. PETRA HAKA shifted out going into the bend and checked ANOTHER STONE which lost four lengths. At the same time, HOMEBUSH DIAMOND shifted in and hampered SEDGEBROOK GLORY which had to check off heels and shifted out causing a check to SYDENHAM JADE and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C1 - C1 - 305 | The start was delayed 2 minutes at the request of Raceday Control. REGINA HAKA was checked going to the first corner losing three lengths and she finished last and was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have slight quadricep pain. SEDGEBROOK LAD, FLAYOSC and ANOTHER DRINK came together and checked on the bend. RED HOT DUTCH led by a small margin early in the home straight but appeared to turn its head in slightly towards the eventual winner HOMEBUSH ALEX and was beaten by a narrow margin. However, the head on film did not conclusively confirm whether RED HOT DUTCH had breached the pursuit rule as the lure was directly ahead of the dog which obscured the dogs head for some distance and RED HOT DUTCH was given the benefit of a small measure of doubt. |
| Race 3 | J P Print (Petone) C2 - C2 - 305 | SUPREME SHELLEEN was checked back to last going to the first corner and a short distance further on, EXPONENTIAL LILY and AZURE DREAMS came together and they both lost momentum. |
| Race 4 | Palamountains Scientific Nutrition C3 - C3 - 305 | UNO GREEN and FIRE BOY BAXTER began awkwardly losing three lengths. HOMEBUSH BUFFY raced in restricted room between THRILLING SQUEAL and AGENT JORGE going into the bend and she was checked losing three lengths. A short distance further on, THRILLING SQUEAL, AGENT JORGE and FIRE BOY BAXTER jostled together and lost momentum for a few strides. |
| Race 5 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | THANKS CHARLIE and NOAKI HURRICANE were a little slow to begin and then came together losing momentum. NOAKI HURRICANE recovered well to make up ground and finished in 2nd place but THANKS CHARLIE stayed back throughout the race for last placing. THRILLING CAIRO shifted in going to the first corner and crowded EUNUCHS LUCK which was checked losing two lengths. DOLLY PEG and SMILE FOR DADDY disputed the lead going into the first bend and made contact which resulted in DOLLY PEG going back onto CAWBOURNE BREE and they both lost three lengths. |
| Race 6 | Mickey's Super Liquor C3 - C3 - 305 | KAZILLION shifted in abruptly from the start and checked LOCKETT IN EDDIE and LADY ANABELLA which both lost ground. LOCKETT IN EDDIE shifted in towards the rail on the bend and was galloped on by LADY ANABELLA with both dogs losing a length. |
| Race 7 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C4 - C4 - 305 | JILL SPRITE and DARLEK KHAN began a little awkwardly and LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE, KINETIC NEO and BOB'S YOUR UNCLE came together and jostled losing ground and they settled in the last five places. |
| Race 8 | The Rock 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305 | LITTLE RASCAL which had not started for two months was presented 2.4 kilograms down in weight from its last start and weighed 21.2 kilograms. The examining Vet passed the dog fit to race and LITTLE RASCAL duly won the race with ease by 6 lengths. Tightening occurred as outside runners shifted in going into the first corner and MATTI OAH and ALMOST GOT IT were eventually checked back to the rear. ALMOST GOT IT recovered well to finish in 2nd place. VICKI'S QUEST checked off the heels of SWAPAN on the bend and lost two lengths and she finished in last place |
| Race 9 | Wanganui Security C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | MISS FOXY MINX and HOMEBUSH LIGNITE bumped together when the start was made losing ground and they settled back. MISS FOXY MINX recovered to make up ground for 3rd place but HOMEBUSH LIGNITE stayed back to finish last. One of the favourites UNO ALLEGRO started from box 6 and was forced to race wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in 6th place. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | BIGTIME JET and MAMMY BROWN bumped together and lost momentum at the start. MAMMY BROWN lost ground going into the bend when checking off the heels of LAUGH LIKE SANTA on two occasions. General tightening going into the first bend resulted in checks to OSTAPCHUK, BIGTIME JET and HELLO ELLO which was the most affected and she lost four lengths and tailed the field for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 11 | Gary Ross Decorator C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | TALK IT OVER was the slowest to begin and he stayed back throughout and finished in last place. EUREKA IZMIR began awkwardly and settled back. |
| Race 12 | Christmas @ The Races 6th-13th-14th & 20th December C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | MATILDA'S BABE, HEY YOU and EXPLODABLE all began a little awkwardly and settled back. MATILDA'S BABE shifted out soon after start and hampered HEY YOU for a short distance. GURU GOOSE shifted in going into the bend and checked EXPLODABLE and MATILDA'S BABE and they lost two lengths. |
