Weather: Fine
Track: Good The track was well presented and the meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time. The scales continue to cause problems due to being too sensitive and take far to long to settle on a dogs weight and as a result the smooth flow through the kennels is disrupted. The Club Manager has on numerous occasions requested the supplier to make adjustments but these have never led to any improvement and the Stewards have recommended to the Manager that a replacement set of scales be purchased.

Judicial report: DASHER RUM completed a satisfactory trial which was required under Rule 81.1.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	IZA HUNGI and SECONDS GOOD were slow to begin losing two lengths. SECONDS GOOD started from box 8 and she then made up ground very well out wide and finished in 2nd place while IZA HUNGI stayed back throughout and finished in last place.
Race 2	Woodville Dash C1 - C1 - 375	The start of this race was 2 minutes late at the request of Raceday control. EXPONENTIAL LILY, CHELSEA'S BEAUTY, SHE'S TOP NOTCH and HOMEBUSH LIMBO jostled together for a short distance soon after the start and CHELSEA'S BEAUTY suffered the most in the incident and she went back to last. The favourite EXPONENTIAL LILY finished in last place but was not far from the leading dogs in a bunch at the rear.
Race 3	NZRS Graduation Ht 1 C2/3 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1	JUST MAC shifted in going into the bend and hampered ANOTHER ANOTHER which lost ground and never recovered finiishing in last place.
Race 4	NZRS Graduation Ht 2 C2/3 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2	IDOL GIRL was slow to begin losing four lengths but made up ground well for 2nd place. BOTANY MOLLY jumped on terms with the majority of the field but could not keep up and in line with her three most recent starts, she finished in last place and several lengths behind the 2nd last dog. WHAT'S UP GEE galloped on the heels of DECEIVER going into the bend and they both lost ground. IDOL GIRL faltered for a stride near the home turn bit it could not be established
Race 5	NZRS Graduation Ht 3 C2/3 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 3	BIGTIME TIP and THRILLING SONIC bumped when the start was made and settled back. A short distance further on, BIGTIME TIP shifted out and bumped THRILLING SONIC which was unbalanced for a couple of strides. THRILLING SONIC then became awkwardly placed between SPEEDY FEET and BIGTIME TIP for a short distance going into the bend but once into clear running he finished well for 3rd place.
Race 6	NZRS Graduation Ht 4 C2/3 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 4	All clear.
Race 7	NZRS Graduation Ht 5 C2/3 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 5	UPAHUT CINDY and EUNUCHS LUCK jostled together for some distance going to the first corner until UPAHUT CINDY eventually dropped back and made contact with TENKAY DOWN and they both lost further ground back to the rear. TENKAT DOWN then recovered to make up ground for 2nd placing.
Race 8	www.racingdogs.co.nz C3 - C3 - 375	STIFF DRINK shifted in abruptly when the start was made and checked YOUR ON FIRE which lost ground and CAPTAIN OSTI which almost fell and lost several lengths.. A short distance further on, YOUR ON FIRE clipped the heels of TRICKY HENRY and fell. CAPTAIN OSTI which did not appear to be striding out correctly following the earlier incident, was clearlly confused and distracted by the fallen runner and eased out of the race. YOUR ON FIRE and CAPTAIN OSTI then finished onto the lure some distance behind the other runners and they were referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Cloverlea Dash C5 - C5 - 375	COSMIC FURY was slow to begin and settled back. SHANGHAI SAM checked over the heels of DADDY LOWE on the bend and shifted out forcing COSMIC FURY to race wide over extra ground.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C4 - C4 - 375	WISE CRACK LAD started from box 2 and shifted out going to the first corner to race wide covering extra ground on the bend and into the straight and was only caught late by FLIRT ACADEMY and finished in 2nd place.
Race 11	Feilding Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	KAY ROAD and OPIE BOSSMAN were slow to begin losing three lengths and they stayed back throughout the race and finished in the rear group.
Race 12	Foxton Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	MAMMY BROWN shifted in from the start and hampered NONU NONU BOOM, BOSTON CHANEL and BIGTIME JET for a short distance. Going to the first corner, NECTER checked off the heels of CRUSHED MONKEY and lost two lengths.and simaltaneously NONU NONU BOOM shifted in and collided with BIGTIME JET and also lost two lengths. A few strides further on, NECTER again raced onto the heels of CRUSHED MONKEY and they both lost ground and stayed back to finish in the rear group. CRUSHED MONKEY was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a spike wound injury.
