Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 305	AZURE DREAMS was checked going to the first corner and went back onto TENKAY DOWN which lost three lengths and then raced wide on the bend. STEVIE'S MAGIC was checked twiice on the bend and went back to last and finished in that position.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 520	UPAHUT CINDY started from box 8 and was forced to race wide in the run around the first bend. She was then checked losing three lengths when unable to avoid the heels of I'M A CATCH going into the back straight and she stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C3 - C3 - 305	ADDICTED and ALL THE RAGE bumped together and ADDICTED then shifted out and made contact with YOUR ON FIRE going to the first corner and they became unbalanced for a short distance. Soon after, ANOTHER BECKY shifted in making contact with THRILLING SQUEAL and ANOTHER BECKY checked and almost fell losing several lengths and all chance.
Race 4	Palamountains Nutrition C3 - C3 - 305	AGENT VICTOR went off stride in the race to the first corner and he drifted further behind as the race progressed and finished several lengths last. He was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a torn gracilus muscle and a haematoma.
Race 5	Morrie Gibbons Signs C5 - C5 - 305	LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE, ATE POWER and SLANGEVAR bumped together when the start was made and settled back. ALLEGRO STAR checked over the heels of the leader EUREKA IZMIR going into the bend and lost a length but recovered well to win the race. ERUZA shifted out and collided with ALLEGRO STAR when sharing the lead on the home turn and was then galloped on by EUREKA IZMIR. She then shifted out to collided with AVERT losing several lengths and went back to finish in last place.
Race 6	Mickey's Super Liquor C5 - C5 - 305	HEY YOU jumped in at the start and checked over the back of LEADFOOT LENNY losing a length. COSMIC FURY shifted out abruptly going into the bend and hampered ENGLISH HONEY and TIME'S UP and he shifted out again approaching the straight entrance and collided with TIME'S UP with both dogs losing several lengths and they finished at the rear.
Race 7	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C5 - C5 - 305	SHANGHAI SAM, STARLA and ENAZUMA were the slowest to begin and settled back. SHANGHAI SAM recovered the best of the three to finish in 3rd place. ARMED FORCES checked off the heels of GLENADDIS going into the bend and he went back and out hampering MATILDA'S BABE and WATERBUG.
Race 8	Wanganui Oaks Final R/A - R/Af - 520	THRILLING GIGGLE was a little slow to begin and was then hampered when MAMMY BROWN shifted in and she settled back. CAWBOURNE BREE shifted in going to the first turn and tightened HELLO ELLO and SUMMER TENSION which both lost two lengths. Soon after, MAMMY BROWN shifted in and tightened KATCHA FIRE which went back causing checks to CAWBOURNE BREE and DOLLY PEG and they lost several lengths and stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 9	Wanganui Derby Final R/A - R/Af - 520	GRADUATION shifted in from box 8 at the start and caused crowding to several runners with LAUGH LIKE SANTA and ANOTHER COURSE the most affected and they lost ground and settled at the rear.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	CHEVY VOLT shifted out from the start and checked NONU NONU BOOM and BLUE AND CURLY and all three lost ground and settled back. BIGTIME KAREN shifted in and collided with BOSTON CHANEL going into the first bend and BIGTIME KAREN lost three lengths. A stride further on NONU NONU BOOM checked off the heels of EL JETTA and shifted out to collide with CHEVY VOLT and BLUE AND CURLY and all three lost four lengths and stayed back to finsh in the last three places.
Race 11	Wanganui Security C4 - C4 - 305	FLIRT ACADEMY checked off the heels of LOUIELICIOUS going into the first turn and lost two lengths. BOB'S YOUR UNCLE, MEGA UPLOAD and CRYSTAL WAVE jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and MEGA UPLOAD suffered the most in the incident, became unbalanced and drifted back and finished the race in last place.
Race 12	Christmas @ The Races 6th-13th-14th-20th December C4 - C4 - 305	SMIDGED, JACKSON TOWN and UNO FLASH were the slowest to begin losing two lengths. SMIDGED and RUN KAYLA RUN raced wide covering extra ground on the bend.
