Track: Good The track was in good order and the meeting proceeded smoothly.
Scales: Checked and correct
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: CLUAIN MEALA was scratched without penalty in Race 6 due to the dog being in the possession of the Manawatu District Council at this time and this was confirmed to the Steward in Charge by a Council representative. The Stewards have been advised that this is a temporary situation and that there are no registration fees owing in relation to CLUAIN MEALA.

Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	VINNY DOON shifted in from the start and checked SECONDS GOOD which lost three lengths and settled back. She then made a big run wide out and kept up a strong gallop to finish very well for 3rd placing. TONGARIRO, ALL FOR ONE and VINNY DOON jostled together for a short distance going to the first corner and ALL FOR ONE suffered the most in the incident and he lost two lengths. ALL FOR ONE then checked off the heels of GOMAN NINNIE on the bend and lost two lengths and finished in last place.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C0 - C0 - 375	NGAURUHOE and PRANCING BREE jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and PRANCING BREE eventually was checked and lost three lengths. HUNTED started from box 1 but shifted out going to the first corner and raced very wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in 6th place.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C1 - C1 - 375	ANOTHER STONE and YES HE WILL bumped together soon after the start and they settled back and stayed there throughout the race.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway C1 - C1 - 457	DOGGED DAN shifted in going into the bend and dictated the line of KAY ROAD which was forced in onto ALPINADOR which was checked losing two lengths. OPAWA LEANNE shifted in soon after and checked AMY WINEGLASS which lost two lengths and shifted out to race wide over extra ground going into the bend.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Fnish C1 - C1 - 375	BOTANY DAVE was a little slow to begin but recovered well to win the race. SHE'S TOP NOTCH, RUAPEHU, HIGH CALIBRE and ZAMADDIS LASS came together and jostled for some distance after the start and they lost ground and settled well back.
Race 6	Marton Stakes C1 - C1 - 457	All clear.
Race 7	Ashurst Dash C2 - C2 - 375	DOUBLE TAPP, TEN ELEVEN and IT'S A DOLL bumped together soon after the start and TEN ELEVEN then shifted out and hampered RICH LIST and MEGA RUSH for a few strides. DOUBLE TAPP shifted in going to the first corner and hampered TENKAY DOWN which lost two lengths. TENKAY DOWN shifted out on the home turn and bumped IT'S A DOLL which in turn shifted out and collided with MEGA RUSH and all three dogs lost momentum for a couple of strides.
Race 8	www,racingdogs.co.nz C3 - C3 - 375	LOCKETT IN EDDIE and FIRE BOY BAXTER became awkwardly placed in restricted room racing into the first corner when ANOTHER COURSE was racing on their outside. They lost two lengths and then shifted out to race wide into the bend over extra ground.
Race 9	Cloverlea Dash C4 - C4 - 375	YA LAUGHIN and SUMMER TENSION began awkwardly losing four lengths and they stayed back throughout the race and finished in the rear group. EXPLODABLE checked off the heels of SWAPAN on the bend and lost three lengths and he was again checked in the home straight when in restricted room inside BULET TOOTH TONY and he finished in last place.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C5 - C5 - 375	ATTIRE shifted in from the start and caused checks to INDIVIDUAL LILY, SLANGEVAR and MISS FOXY MINX and they all lost ground. SLANGEVAR shifted out going into the bend and this resulted in INDIVIDUAL LILY, MISS FOXY MINX and ATTIRE being forced wide on the track over extra ground.
Race 11	Feilding Stakes C2 - C2 - 457	MIGHTY BAXTER and THANKS CHARLIE shifted in from the start and caused tightening and checks to HOME BREWER and PADDY BAXTER and they both lost ground and went back to the rear. MIGHTY BAXTER was handy on the bend but was checked, went back to the rear and finished in last place.
Race 12	Foxton Stakes C4 Final - C4f - 457	RUN JUNIOR RUN and NECTER both shifted ground soon after the start and FLYING BLAKE racing in between was checked and fell but was quickly back on his feet and finished on the lure. FLYING BLAKE was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. RUN JUNIOR RUN shifted out going to the first turn and jostled with CAWBOURNE TILLY for a short distance until RUN JUNIOR RUN was eventually checked losing three lengths. CAWBOURNE TILLY then shifted in and checked CHEVY VOLT which also lost three lengths.
