Judicial report: Trainer L.Ahern was fined $ 50-00 under Rule 68.2 when two of her Greyhounds were late being kennelled in the first session.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 305	AZURE DREAMS shifted in from the start and TENKAY DOWN had to check off her heels was lost a little ground. TENKAY DOWN shifted out entering the home straight and bumped MEGA RUSH which became unbalanced and drifted back to the rear where she finished.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C2 Final - C2f - 305	One of the favourites FIRE BOY BAXTER was slow to begin losing two lengths. ODE TO LIBERTY shifted in abruptly from the start and dictated the line of STIFF which was forced in causing checks to LOCKETT IN EDDIE, TIME FRAUD and WAIWHATA DREAM which all lost ground.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C2 - C2 - 520	WHAT'S UP GEE shifted in going into the first corner and tightened PADDY BAXTER which brushed against the rail and then shifted out causing checks to SMILE FOR DADDY and CHECK THE MAIN and all four dogs lost ground in the incident.
Race 4	Gary Ross Decorator C3 - C3 - 305	FLIRT ACADEMY shifted out slightly from the start and hampered HOMEBUSH COCO which lost two lengths. YOUR ON FIRE shifted in going into the bend and checked BLACK MERCEDES which lost three lengths. ADDICTED shifted out going to the first corner and bumped with HOMEBUSH HELLS for two or three strides.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C3 - C3 - 305	GO FERN GO, ANOTHER BECKY and EXCESSIVE SPEED jostled together for some distance in the back straight and settled back. JACKSON TOWN shifted out entering the home straight and forced THRILLING SQUEAL to race a little wide at that point.
Race 6	Mickey's Super Liquor C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	ANOTHER COURSE began awkwardly and settled at the rear. THANKS CHARLIE shifted out going into the first bend and forced ANOTHER COURSE out over extra ground and he stayed back for the remainder of the race.
Race 7	The Rock 95.2FM C5 - C5 - 305	ATTIRE and HOMEBUSH LIGNITE bumped together when the start was made and lost a little ground. ATTIRE shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to TALK IT OVER and COSMIC FURY which went back onto HOMEBUSH LIGNITE and all three dogs lost three lengths. TALK IT OVER was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a grazed and bruised hind leg.
Race 8	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C5 - C5 - 305	HYPOTENTIAL was slow from the boxes and settled back. He then went off stride going into the bend and drifted off the back of the field to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment. TIME'S UP shifted in from the start and dictated the line of ARMED FORCES which shifted in checking LYNNY SOUTHCOMBE and she lost three lengths. WATERBUG and ARMED FORCES bumped together for some distance going to the first corner and they both lost momentum. TIMES UP was also referred to the Vet for assessment at the request of the Trainer and was cleared of injury. HYPOTENTIAL was found to have torn hock ligaments.
Race 9	Wanganui Security C5 - C5 - 305	MATILDA'S BABE, ENAZUMA and HEY YOU bumped together for a short distance soon after the start and ENAZUMA suffered the most and went back to the rear. HEY YOU checked over the heels of DARLYNE OTTEY going into the bend and shifted out abruptly to race wide on the bend and he finished in last place.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C4 - C4 - 520	SEVEN IRON and HELLO ELLO jostled together for some distance in the run to the first corner and they were then checked going into the bend when SPACE RACE shifted in and crowded them. BUDDY BROKE shifted in going into the back straight and checked SEVEN IRON which went back onto HELLO ELLO and they lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 11	Morrie Gibbons Signs C4 - C4 - 305	VICKI'S QUEST shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to WHERE'S CHICKEN, HOT KING COLE and UNO FLASH and they lost two lengths. HOT KING COLE continued to shift in after the initial check and caused checks to MOODY MAN and KINETIC NEO and they lost ground and settled back. HOT KING COLE was checked when racing at the rear going into the bend and he never recovered and finished in last place.
Race 12	Christmas @ The Races 6th - 13th - 20th Dec C4 - C4 - 305	HOMEBUSH BORIS shifted in abruptly when jumping from the boxes and checked over the heels of MICK MANIA, settled at the rear and stayed there throughout the race. MICK MANIA suffered a toe injury and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
