The favourite GURU GOOSE (1) was checked on the bend as RAMRADA (5) crossed to the fence with GURU GOOSE losing momentum and dropping to a rearward position. |

On the home turn COOL BEAR crossed to the rail and tightened KNOW MISTAKE (6) who lost momentum. |

Into the bend the pacemaking CIRI RIOLI shortened stride and dropped right out with this dog being referred to the vet for assessment. MOULIN BLUE (7) and KNOW ADVANTAGE (8) were both inconvenienced at this stage. |

HETFIELD (3) angled inwards in the early stages tightening KNOW ESCAPE (2) and CAWBOURNE BULLY who lost ground. Wider out the favourite MORE BETTER (8) shortened stride into the bend and dropped out to a long last with this runner being referred to the vet for assessment. HETFIELD ran wide on the home turn checking EMBEE DEE (7) for a stride. |

Into the bend CAWBOURNE JELLY (3) angled outwards checking DYNAMIC BLACK (7) who lost ground with EUREKA IZMIR (8) being forced wider on the track. DYNAMIC BLACK then ran inwards and again received a check when coming together with SOSAN (1). |

| Race 8 | Super Pets Galaxy Heat 8 - C5q - 295 Heat 8 | BATIATUS (5) was a clear last at the jump. BIT PICCADILLY (3) was tightened in the early stages. BATIATUS was then held up for clear room when attempting to improve into the bend and lost momentum. CAWBOURNE QUEEN (1) angled a touch wide on the bend pushing the favourite GO HOUSIE (6) over extra ground. On the bend BIT PICCADILLY checked outwards off the heels of HOMEBUSH CHURRO (7) and lost ground. |
| Race 9 | Super Pets Galaxy Heat 9 - C5q - 295 Heat 9 | The favourite SOPHIE'S TERRA (5) was last into stride. SECRET SPRITE (6) ran inwards in the initial stages checking CAWBOURNE BURN (4). SECRET SPRITE then ran outwards placing ATE POWER (7) and WANDY GAYLENE (8) in restricted room. SECRET SPRITE was then dragged down into the bend and dropped to the rear. SOPHIE'S TERRA checked off the heels of PRINCELY DOLLAR (1) when improving on the bend and ran outwards losing momentum and pushing ATE POWER over extra ground. When questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner KNOW RIVAL (10), Trainer G Cleeve could only put it down to the fact that today the dog received an uninterrupted run and was able to capitalise on this. |
| Race 10 | Super Pets Galaxy Heat 10 - C5q - 295 Heat 10 | ROQETTE (8) was last at the jump. In the early stages ATTACK WIDE (5) ran inwards checking ASSERT (4) who lost ground. MR. WHIPPY (7) could not cross to lead on the bend and received a severe check dropping back through the field. MR. WHIPPY then angled wide on the home turn pushing TRANS TASMAN (6) over extra ground. ASSERT took a tumble just after the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where it was found that the dog was suffering from severe cramp. |
| Race 11 | Super Pets Galaxy Heat 11 - C5q - 295 Heat 11 | CALLAHAN (1) and DILLMANSTOWN (9) were the last pair on jumping. DILLMANSTOWN checked off the back of KNOW JEALOUSY (6) into the turn and lost ground. On the turn DAMARJO (8) ran inwards pushing STARBURST JOSH (3) down on to FOLLOW FAME (4) who hit the rail and lost ground. In behind KNOW JEALOUSY angled sharply outwards to avoid these runners and collided with SECRET STAR (2) and WANDY BOILER (7) with this trio all losing their feet and their chances. |

GITCHA EASY (8) angled inwards on the home turn tightening OSCAR TUIVASA (7) who was forced to change ground outwards. PEARL'S BOY (4) ran wide on the home turn losing a length. |
