Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing condition with all other equipment operating well through out the programme.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: ROCKIN' ROD was referred for a vet check after the running of race 3.
Trainer P Lowen left the course with out the dog being vetted. The Stewards attempted to contact P Lowen by phone with a message to contact the Stewards with an explanation.
An inquiry has been opened and adjourned in to this matter.

Race 1	YGOT Bonus Scheme Sprint - C0 - 375	From the jump FIERY CONQUEST and WORTH A CRACK bumped ,WORTH A CRACK stumbled for a stride. WORTH A CRACK raced out widest in to the home straight when well back. THRILLING CARTER ( fav ) raced away to an early lead running away in the home straight for an easy win
Race 2	The Clubhouse Sports Bar Stakes - C0 - 457	QUEEN OF MEAN was a late scratching at kennelling when found to have pain and swelling on flexion of left fore over medial metacarpal, a 10 day stand down was imposed. Racing in to the first turn ROTOVEGAS became unbalanced for a stride or so causing him to lose a couple of lengths allowing the leading two runners to get a break on the field as they raced to the top bend, ROTOVEGAS SMASH made good ground there after to finish in to 2nd placing at the line.
Race 3	Presland Tocker Insurance Sprint - C1 - 375	As the field jumped away from the boxes ROCKIN' ROD ran in to the midsection of DIAMOND WOK, ROCKIN' ROD stumbled badly going down on his nose losing 5 or so lengths back to the rear of the field. Racing in to the first turn KAISER MAX angled inwards between runners over to the rail resulting in DIAMOND WOK catching the heels of KAISER MAX losing several lengths. ROCKIN' ROD and KAISER MAX were unable to get back in to contention after their incidents to finish in the rear at the line. ROCKIN' ROD was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 4	Stephen Marsh Racing Sprint - C3 - 375	As they jumped away from the boxes CRIXUS ran inwards sharply checking PENO BOY over on to ON TREY and MONTY DOSH. Racing in to the first turn UNCLE ROMILLY came across on to CRIXUS tightening this runner for a stride or so. Racing towards the home turn MONTY DOSH was tightened back from between runners.
Race 5	General Engravers Sprint - C2 - 375	From the boxes LOCKEY'S CALL cut in across the face of TAYLA ROSE, LOCKEY'S CALL kept on crossing over forcing REALON RUMBA over towards the road. Racing in to the first turn TIME TO FIND angled inwards running in to TAYLA ROSE, LOCKEY'S CALL and REALON RUMBA, all these runners were checked losing ground. TIME TO FIND recovered well to run on in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 6	All Sew Embroidery Sprint - C5 - 375	QUESTION ME from box 2 stumbled coming away off the mat losing momentum going back towards the rear, racing in to the first turn QUESTION ME was tightened as HUSTLER came across, QUESTION ME lost several lengths back to the rear and never got back in to contention there after finishing in last placing at the line. DANATO ( fav ) first NZ start, was away well in the early stages, he was passed by REAL VAIN going in to the bend and was tightened slightly soon after for a couple of strides, DANATO drifted back shortly before the home turn and could not finish off in the home straight beating one other runner to the line. DANATO was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 7	MTA Gift Voucher Stakes - C1 - 457	Soon after the jump MR LOCHLYN and BUBBLE OSTEE came together, BUBBLE OSTEE stumbled slightly losing a length. Racing in to the first turn BUBBLE OSTEE ran wide covering extra ground through out there after. THRILLING JUDGE ( fav ) was only fairly away from the start racing in midfield and having to race around runners to make ground, finished strongly late in the home straight to finish in to 2nd placing at the line.
Race 8	Cambridge Mitre 10 Mega Sprint - C5 - 375	Racing in to the first turn PROVEN SHELLY was tightened for room in midfield, she lost a couple of lengths and never got back in to contention there after finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 9	Sergio @ Stud Sprint - C4 - 375	Racing in to the first turn EXCITING DREAM and URBAN COMBAT were checked as they were tightened and jostled, both runners lost ground to the rear. AGENT VAN ALDEN and URBAN COMBAT raced wide across the top bend and in to the home straight, AGENT VAN ALDEN finished on strongly for 2nd placing at the line. EXCITING DREAM was showing signs of slight lameness in the near fore on returning to the kennel block and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 10	Fond Foods LTD Stakes - C4/5 - 457	Soon after the start FEEL THE VIBE and JANNICK came together, in behind THRILLING LOGIC and LOCHINVAR BRANDO came together bumping and jostling for several strides with both runners in the rear at this point. Entering the bend STELLAR FORCE angled in on to LOCHINVAR BRANDO and THRILLING LOGIC on his inner was hampered for a couple of strides. JANNICK was held up for a couple of strides as they raced on to the top bend. THRILLING LOGIC improved through the field nearing the home turn to run down the pace maker RILEY'S MATE in the shadows of the post. There was no photo finish to upload for this race.
Race 11	0800 4 Down Cow Stakes - C2 - 457	BORASCO and CAWBOURNE LOGAN were slow away, BORASCO raced the widest through out covering extra ground finishing in last placing at the line. BEAU RIVAGE was hampered slightly as they raced in to the first bend as BLITZING MAYHEM crossed to the rail.
Race 12	Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Stakes - C3 - 457	GHOST WRITER and PREMIER OSTI ( fav ) came together as they got away from the boxes, VIVA VANE ran outwards pushing GHOST WRITER in to PREMIER OSTI. PREMIER OSTI raced in midfield there after finishing in 5th placing at the line. GHOST WRITER after being checked back to the rear raced around the field making good ground to finish strongly in the run home to get up and win on the line. PREMIER OSTI was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found.
