Track: Good The track was well presented and with all equipment working well , the meeting proceeded smoothly but in somewhat unpleasant conditions due to a strong wind all day.

Race 1	Awapuni Stakes C0 - C0 - 457	BIGTIME DASHER was tightened betwenn VINNY DOON and DIPSY LALA soon after the start and he was jostled for several strides and went back to the rear. BIGTIME DASHER then raced very wide over extra ground but made up ground well for 4th placing.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C0 - C0 - 375	KWASANT stood in the boxes losing several lengths but recovered well to make up ground and finished in 5th place. KNOCKA SLOY angled in sharply from the start and dictated the line of VINNIE BAXTER which then made contact with IZA HUNGI and they both lost ground. OFFENSIVE led into the bend but raced out wide losing ground but he finished very well to win the race.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C1 - C1 - 375	ANOTHER ANOTHER shifted in abruptly from the start dictating UNDER MILKWOOD in onto the favourite STIFF DRINK which was hampered and settled back. CAWBOURNE ANNA shifted away from the rail going to the first turn and jostled with KOTUMBA for several strides and STIFF DRINK which was following was placed in restricted room, was checked losing further ground and he stayed back to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway C1 - C1 - 457	ADDA BOY ZEKE began awkwardly losing three lengths. HOMEBUSH STING shifted in from the start making contact with CHECK THE MAIL and they continued to jostle together for some distance and HOMEBUSH STING was eventually checked back to the rear and finished last. OPAWA LEANNE raced very wide over extra ground on the bend.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C2 Ht 1 - C2q - 375 Heat 1	BLACK HENNESSY was one of the slowest to begin and settled back. He then became awkwardly placed in behind DOUBLE TAPP and WINSOME ACHIEVER going into the bend and was held up for a short distance. Once BLACK HENNESSY shifted out into clear running, he finished well for 4th placing. The winner ADDICTED had finished last at its two most recent starts over 457 metres. The Kennel Representative Mr B.Cole, when questioned regarding the improved performance, stated that the dog had received very interrupted runs on both occasions and, in his opinion was more suited to a sprint distance at this stage of his career.
Race 6	Marton Dash C2 Ht2 - C2q - 375 Heat 2	SARAH'S COOL began very awkwardly losing three lengths and stayed back throughout the race to finish in last place.
Race 7	Ashurst Dash C3 - C3 - 375	KAZILLION shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to UNO ORANGE, JACKSON TOWN and ALMOST GOT IT and they all lost ground with JACKSON TOWN the most affected and she went back to the rear losing several lengths. UNO ORANGE and KAZILLION were checked when racing together on the bend and they lost three lengths and finished at the rear.
Race 8	www.racingdogs.co.nz C4 - C4 - 375	FIERCE STAR , WISE CRACK LAD and RUN JUNIOR RUN bumped together when the start was made. WISE CRACK LAD shifted out going into the bend and forced CAWBOURNE BULLY wide over extra ground and they finished in the last two places. LITTLE BLACKSPOT was checked on the bend losing three lengths.
Race 9	Cloverlea Stakes C5 - C5 - 457	SUPERIOR IZMIR was slow to begin losing two lengths but made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. MAMMY BROWN shifted in from the start and checked LAUGH LIKE SANTA which lost ground. CHAINSAW PETE also shifted in from the start and hampered FEEL THE VIBE and THRILLING HAVOC and they lost a little ground. CHAINSAW PETE was checked losing two lengfths going into the bend when THRILLING HAVOC shifted out.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C5 - C5 - 375	TALK IT OVER , ATTIRE and CALAMITY FREE were crowded by runners drawn wider on the track as they raced to the first corner and they were eventually checked back to the rear , never recovered and finished in the last three places.
Race 11	Feilding Stakes C3 - C3 - 457	LADY ANABELLA began awkwardly losing two lengths and she then went forward quickly to be handy going into the bend. Soon after LADY ANABELLA bumped with FULLA TORQUE , was checked and lost ground and she was checked again approaching the home straight when racing onto the heels of HOMEBUSH RICK. CRUSHED MONKEY shifted in going to the first corner and hampered CHEVY VOLT and EL JETTA for a short distance but after initially losing ground, they recovered well to finish in 2nd and 3rd places.
Race 12	Foxton Stakes C2 - C2 - 457	BELLDEEN shifted out from the start and hampered ALPINADOR and NOAKI HURRICANE which both lost ground back to the rear. NOAKI HURRICANE recovered very well to win the race with ease. THANKS CHARLIE and OPAWA TOKEN bumped together and lost ground on the bend.
