| Race 1 | Absolutely Electrical C2 - C2 - 305 | RAMESSEE and ASCHENPUTTEL were the slowest to begin losing two lengths and they settled back. The favourite LOCKETT IN EDDIE was also a little slow to begin and then became awkwardly placed in behind other runners going to the first corner and shifted out to race wide on the bend over extra ground. He then collided with INDIVIDUAL LILY entering the home straight and they became unbalanced and finished at the rear. |
| Race 2 | Harrison Hire Master C2 - C2 - 520 | KING LUMPY shifted in from the start and caused checks to THRILLING AVA, THANKS CHARLIE and FERGIE'S BELLE and they were all affected and lost ground. THRILLING AVA then raced very wide on the first bend covering extra ground and finished in the rear group. |
| Race 3 | J P Print (Petone) C2 - C2 - 520 | OPAWA TOKEN and OPAWA PATCH were the slowest to begin losing two lengths. UPAHUT CINDY shifted out slightly on the first corner to avoid the heels of CAWBOURNE KIM and there was a chain reaction of movement which affected OPAWA TOKEN, BELLDEEN, OPAWA PATCH and ALL THE MILK and they all lost several lengths and stayed back to finish in the last four places. LOCKEY'S CALL collapsed at the conclusion of the race and was attended to by the Vet and found to be suffering from hypothermia but recovered quickly. |
| Race 4 | Gary Ross Decorator C3 - C3 - 305 | HOMEBUSH CRAIG shifted out going into the bend and hampered ANOTHER COFFEE which lost two lengths and she stayed back to finish at the rear. |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition C3 - C3 - 305 | CALM RITA was found to be suffering from diarrhoea while the field was parading to the start point and as a result was declared a late scratching. HOMEBUSH RICK shifted in soon after the start and checked AGENT JORGE and HOMEBUSH COCO and some distance further on, as they raced into the bend, HOMEBUSH RICK again shifted in and caused checks to AGENT JORGE and HOMEBUSH COCO and all three lost ground and stayed back to finish in the last three places. |
| Race 6 | Mickey's Super Liquor C3 - C3 - 520 | THRILLING CAIRO checked off the back of RED CRYSTAL on the first corner and went out and back onto WHAT'S UP GEE and they both lost ground. A few strides further on ,RED CRYSTAL shifted in and checked KYLIE'S BELLE which went back and out checking MI TI PA and they both lost three lengths. |
| Race 7 | The Rock 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305 | TAWNY PORT was placed in restricted room between SHALF and SECTIONED from the start and he settled at the rear. FLYING BLAKE shifted in going into the bend and checked FLY CANARY FLY which dropped back onto TAWNY PORT and they both lost two lengths. |
| Race 8 | Wanganui Security C4 - C4 - 305 | HOMEBUSH LIGNITE began a little awkwardly and settled back. NONU NONU BOOM and EXCITING DREAM came together going into the bend and EXCITING DREAM was checked losing five lengths and all chance of a placing. |
| Race 9 | Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C4 Final - C4f - 305 | TALK IT OVER and CHAINSAW PETE jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and they both lost ground and went back to the rear . TALK IT OVER recovered the best of the two and he made up ground to finish in 4th place. LEGEND BEE did not make the corner very well and shifted out forcing GEORGE BAXTER and GO FERN GO very wide and they never recovered and finished at the rear. |
| Race 10 | Keenan Concrete C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | INDIANA IZMIR and BIGTIME JET bumped together soon after the start and INDIANA IZMIR and BIGTIME KAREN bumped together and lost momentum going into the first bend. |
| Race 11 | Morrie Gibbons Signs C5 - C5 - 305 | WATERBUG and IMA SPICE jostled together for several strides going to the first corner and they both lost momentum. DOWN THE BACK shifted out near the first corner and checked WATERBUG which lost a length. |
| Race 12 | Christmas @ The Races 6th - 13th - 20th December C5 - C5 - 305 | DONKEY DEEP and WHERE''S CHICKEN raced in restricted room going into the first corner and were eventually checked , went back to the rear and stayed there to the finish. FIERY DANCER shifted in abruptly entering the home straight , made firm contact with SIR RICHIE and almost fell and she lost three lengths. |
