Judicial report: Licenced Handler Mr M Lin was fined the sum of $50 for failing to ensure his cellular device was switched off when handling pre race.
Following Race 4, Lure Driver Mr P Knowles was reminded of his obligations relating to Rule 75.1 and the positioning distance between the lure and the leading dog.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C4 - 295	Shortly after the start MARMALADE SKIES (6) raced in restricted room between OPAWA LEGS (5) and GITCHA EASY (7). Racing into the bend SPEEDY KAZZA (4) was obliged to check off the heels of both GITCHA EASY and DYNA GROLL (8) which caused OPAWA LEGS and MARAMALADE SKIES to race wide and lose ground.
Race 2	C.T.V. Stakes - C1/2 - 520	KNOW PERIL (1) checked off the heels of CHILL OUT RALPH (7) and was slightly inconvenienced racing around the final bend.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C4/5 - 295	FOLLOW FAME (3) jumped awkwardly and was then bumped by MORE BETTER (4) shortly after the start. Racing around the bend LIFE'S A LAUGH (6) ran outwards inconveniencing RAMRADA (10) and forcing GO HOUSIE (7) to race wide. LIFE'S A LAUGH was sent the vet for assessment at the request of Trainer R Blackburn.
Race 4	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C3 - 520	Racing past the winning post, BUSINESS PLAN (6) shifted inwards causing LINCOLN FLYER (2) to squeeze ALISARAY (9) which lost ground. BOTANY PETE (3) lead through the initial stages before proceeding to give ground down the back straight to finish last. When questioned regarding this poor performance, Kennel representative J McInerney Jnr stated that he was extremely disappointed with the dogs efforts and could only put it down to it racing over the middle distance for the first time. Mr McInerney Jnr added that the kennel would restrict BOTANY PETE's racing to the sprint distance in future. Mr McInerney's comments were noted.
Race 5	Robbie's Bar & Bistro Dash - C4/5 - 295	CALLAHAN (1) and KNOW LIES (4) were both slow out of the boxes. Racing round the bend TRANS TASMAN (6) shifted downwards causing inconvenience to KNOW RIVAL (9).
Race 6	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C4 - 295	CAWBOURNE CHIEF (6) ran inwards shortly after the start resulting in JUMPIN' JULIA (5) checking TAIERI PLAINS (2) which lost its chance. Racing into the bend, TEPIRITA RITA (4) was placed in restricted room between WANDY GAYLENE (3) and RED CARPET (8) which in turn caused STARBURST BLANCH (1) to race on the heels of TEPIRITA RITA losing its balance and falling to the track. STARBURST BLANCH was sent to the vet for assessment.
Race 7	I Pave Concrete Sprint - C4/5 - 295	DRYSDALE (1) was slow to jump. Shortly after the start HOMEBUSH SARGE (4) and NOT A KNOW (2) bumped. Racing round the bend ATE PIZZA (3) was placed in restricted room between DRYSDALE and ATTACK WIDE (5) losing ground. Racing out of the bend, NOT A KNOW and ATTACK WIDE bumped causing ATTACK WIDE to lose momentum.
Race 8	Garrard's Horse And Hound Stakes - C4 - 520	Racing past the winning post STARBURST CLEMMY (6) was slightly inconvenienced after being clipped by POPSTAR ROCKET (1). Racing round the first bend FLYING MOE (5) ran wide forcing NO UNDIE SUNDY (8) wide. Entering the back straight, RED TYPHOON (4) and FLYING MOE had to check off the heels of STARBURST CLEMMY and NO UNDIES SUNDY respectively. Racing round the final bend RED TYPHOON bumped STARBURST CLEMMY.
Race 9	Carol's T.A.B. Maiden Distance - C0d - 645	Shortly after the start OPAWA JED (2) checked off the heels of LINE HONOURS (1). Racing round the first bend OPAWA CASSIDY (4) raced in restricted room between OPAWA JED and LAW TO EXCEL (5). Rounding the final bend OPAWA CASSIDY had to check off the heels of LINE HONOURS.
Race 10	racingdogs.co.nz Stakes - C5 - 520	Shortly after the start PALUCKA (6) raced in restricted room between INDI'S GRACE (5) and BIGTIME KELINA (9). RUSSELL HART (2) raced wide round the first bend. INDI'S GRACE was not afforded clear racing room rounding the final turn and when looking to improve wide bumped JINJA POWER (10). BRIGHTON BULLET (1) was referred to the Vet for Assessment.
Race 11	Sky High Scaffolding Dash - C4/5 - 295	WANDY HALLEE (2) was slow to jump. Racing into the bend BUTTERBEAN (6) raced in restricted room between KNOW ADVANTAGE (3) and ETCHED IN STONE (8). KNOW ADVANTAGE ran wide rounding the bend forcing ETCHED IN STONE over extra ground. Racing out of the bend BUTTERBEAN was squeezed between WANDY HALLEE and ETCHED IN STONE.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C4 - 295	OKUKU OLLIE (3) jumped with the field however struggled to maintain contact with it finishing a distant last. This Dog was referred to the Vet for assessment. JUST A MATE (2) and BIT PICCADILLY (4) jostled racing out of the bend.
