Track: Good The track was well presented and maintained throughout the day and with all equipment working well, the meeting proceeded smoothly.

Judicial report: WHERE'S ZORBA marred the running of MISS JOLT in race 6 and was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before its next raceday start.

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 Heat 1 - C0q - 520 Heat 1	The favourite BIGTIME DASHER began very awkwardly losing several lengths and he then raced wide over extra ground on both bends but made up ground well to finish in 5th place. BACKYARD QUEEN and ALL ABOUT AMY bumped together soon after the start and ALL ABOUT AMY then shifted in and collided with JUST LIKE PRINCE. They jostled together for a few strides and JUST LIKE PRINCE was eventually checked losing four lengths and he stayed back to finish in last place.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 Heat 2 - C0q - 520 Heat 2	BLOSSOM CHERIE jumped in at the start and hampered KAY ROAD which settled back. HOMEBUSH CORAL shifted out from the start and caused checks to BLOSSOM CHERIE, COYOTE CAUGHT YA and CALM NUSKA which all lost ground. KWASANT was slow to begin losing three lengths and she lost further ground on the first bend when KAY ROAD checked over the heels of CALM NUSKA and shifted out making contact with KWASANT. COYOTE CAUGHT YA was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have quadricep pain.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 305	PATRICK STAR led from early in the race but ran wide losing ground on the bend and into the straight and finished in 2nd place. NGAURUHOE raced wide on the bend covering extra ground. THUNDER TIME became awkwardly placed between IZA HUNGI and GROOVY LEO on the bend and was shuffled back to the rear where he stayed until the finish.
Race 4	Gary Ross Decorator C0 - C0 - 305	MADAM ICE, COME ON MICKEY and POLAR SNOW WHITE came together and jostled soon after the start and the contact continued for some distance. HO HO HO shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to MADAM ICE and CHARLIE'S PAL with CHARLIES PAL the most affected and she went back to the rear and never recovered. COME ON MICKEY and POLAR SNOW WHITE were also afected in the incident and were forced to race wide on the bend.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C0 - C0 - 305	VERSATILE RICHIE was slow to begin losing two lengths but he made up ground well to finish in 3rd place. RUAPEHU shifted out going to the first corner and checked ALL FOR ONE which lost two lengths. RUAPEHU shifted out again going into the bend and made contact with the hind quarters of ADDIS MATE which caused that runner to shift out onto DODGY POCKETS and all three runners lost several lengths and all chance.
Race 6	Mickey's Super Liquor C0 - C0 - 305	HOMEBUSH MAGIC was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout the race. WHERE'S ZORBA shifted out abruptly from the start and marred the running of MISS JOLT and ZEE BRUGGE and MADDIE BRAND were also affected in the incident. ZEE BRUGGE and CRAZY KATIE bumped together going into the bend when racing at the rear and they stayed back to finish in the rear group. WHERE'S ZORBA was examined by the Vet, cleared of injury and was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 a for marring and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 7	The Rock 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	MIGHTY MONICA shifted in abruptly from the start and caused checks to ACTUAL LILY, STIFF DRINK and KNOCKA OFF TIME which all lost ground. KNOCKA OFF TIME and STIFF DRINK collided at the rear going into the bend and KNOCKA OFF TIME lost three lengths and finished in last place. ACTUAL LILY checked over the heels of MIGHTY MONICA on the bend and shifted out forcing STIFF DRINK very wide into the home straight.
Race 8	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C2 Final - C2f - 305	BERRIDALE BULLET shifted in in the back straight and jostled with YA LAUGHIN for some distance and BERRIDALE BULLET eventually checked and went back to last. A few strides further on, YEAH NAH shifted out across the heels of PREFONTAINE and caused checks to itself and also YA LAUGHIN and BERRIDALE BULLET and they lost four lengths and finished in the last three places.
Race 9	Wanganui Security C0D Feature - C0d - 645	ONLY KATE began very awkwardly losing four lengths and she stayed well back throughout the race.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520	MR DARCI began awkwardly and made contact with MY LIL LUCIFER. He then shifted in and hampered CHOCDEE ALICE and GAY THORLEY and they settled back. BILLY HOLMES shifted out going into the first corner forcing GAY THORLEY and MY LIL LUCIFER to race wide on the bend. MR DARCI checked off the heels of CHOCDEE ALICE going into the final bend and lost three lengths.
Race 11	Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 - C1 - 305	HIGH CALIBRE was very slow to begin losing four lengths but he made up ground well and with the aid of an inside run, he finished well for 3rd place. CALAMITY SUE was also a little slow away and lost two lengths. BREAKTHRU was referred to the Vet for assessment with tricep pain.
Race 12	Christmas At The Races 6th-13th-20th December C1 Final - C1f - 305	BLAIR NINETY was handy going to the first corner but awkwardly placed between SEDGEBROOK GLORY and ZAMADDIS LASS and he clipped a heel and fell but regained his feet and finished onto the lure some distance behind the other runners. BLAIRLY ALIVE and to a lesser extent , MR MAJESTIC were hampered and lost ground in the incident. BLAIR NINETY was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have general bruising.
