Judicial report: Christchurch Greyhound Racing Club 23rd September Race 10 . Stewards concluded their investigation into the reasons why LAW TO EXCEL was able to parade at the start without the appropriate race rug on .After speaking with Co-Trainer J Jopson along with the Christchurch Greyhound Club Officials no further action was deemed necessary, other than to remind both parties that more care is expected in the future to ensure the correct race rugs are placed on engaged dogs.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	CHEVY CHEVELLE(4) was hampered between runners as the start was effected. Into the first bend AVERSION (1) checked off heels when racing tight to the inside of BENNY'S ANGEL (2), as a result AVERSION hampered CHEVY CHEVELLE when going back through the field . MR. BIG STUFF (6) and COOL BEAR (7) jostled for some distance rounding the bend .
Race 2	Terra Keroma At Stud Dash - C4 - 295	TEPIRITA RITA (8) was slow through the initial stages. In the final straight WANDY CHICK (2) shifted down towards the running line and hampered SMASH AMY (3) for a short distance.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C3 - 295	COSMIC GALAXY (4) began awkwardly and lost all chance. EXCUSE PLEASE (3) shifted out from the running line in the run to the first bend and hampered KNOW FAULT (5) , BLONDE TORI (6) , NITRO MABEL (7) and PURE AND SPECIAL (8). Rounding the turn into the straight KNOW FAULT shifted out off the heels of HOMEBUSH CRUDEN (1).
Race 4	David Emerson Consultancy Dash - C5 - 295	Into the first bend HOMEBUSH SARGE (4) checked when racing tight between DAMARJO (1) and TWO WAYS (8) ,as a result HOMEBUSH SARGE made contact with CALLAHAN(6) which was forced over extra ground rounding the bend . BATIATUS (7) was also hampered in this incident. Shortly after WANDY HALLEE (2) galloped on the heels of BATIATUS and lost momentum.
Race 5	Fanta Claws At Stud Stakes - C3 - 520	GEE CEE BEE (3) , ROCKY BAXTER (5) and WANDY ON IN (8) were all slow to begin . ALISARAY (2) and OHOKA FRENCHI (4) jostled for some distance in the run to the first bend with OHOKA FRENCHI being galloped on from behind by WANDY ON IN and losing considerable momentum. Shortly after GIRL RACER (7) clipped the heels of CABOUL (6) and fell .
Race 6	Hurunui Hotel Sprint - C5 - 295	Shortly after the start KNOW LIES (4) and KNOW MISTAKE (8) came together and made firm contact, resulting in KNOW MISTAKE being unbalanced and losing all chance . Into the first bend ATE PIZZA (5) and HOMEBUSH HELEN (6) jostled and lost position when CAMPAIGNER (7) tried to shift down to the running line. BUTTERBEAN (1) and CAMPAIGNER jostled for a distance rounding the turn.
Race 7	C.T.V. Stakes - C4 - 520	RED TYPHOON (7) was slow to begin .Racing into the first bend LINCOLN FLYER (9) shifted off the heels of STARBURST CLEMMY (3) and forced FEAR GO (5) over extra ground. BOB'S EYE (8) ran wide rounding the first bend. LINCOLN FLYER and FEAR GO came together racing around the bend resulting in FEAR GO being unbalanced and losing all chance. At the end of the back straight ADULTEROUS (1) checked off the heels of LINCOLN FLYER and lost ground.
Race 8	Flair Lightning Sprint Final - C5f - 295	RODRIGUEZ (2) was slow to begin . Rounding the bend into the straight WANDY DEVIL (4) was checked and lost all chance when racing tight to the inside of ETCHED IN STONE (5) .
Race 9	Oak n Ferry Bar & Restaurant Distance - C2d - 645	KNOW FUN (1) , KNOW REVENGE (2) and UNSHAKEN (3) all came together after jumping and jostled for some distance losing momentum and all chance.
Race 10	racingdogs.co.nz stakes - C5 - 520	NO UNDIES SUNDAY (8) was slow to begin . Into the first bend SPEEDY KAZZA (10) shifted outwards and made contact with BANBIT (9) which in turn shifted BIGTIME KELINA (5) and NO UNDIES SUNDAY wider on the track .
Race 11	Shirley Vet Clinic Dash - C5 - 295	Into the first bend CAWBOURNE QUEEN (4) was hampered when racing tight between NIPPA MARY (2) and KNOW ADVANTAGE (5) . Rounding the bend into the straight NIPPA MARY shifted wider on the track and forced CAWBOURNE QUEEN over extra ground.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295	TURBO TUNDRA (7) was slow to begin . Rounding the bend into the straight RAMRADA (8) and CAWBOURNE CHIEF (3) came together and bumped with RAMRADA being unbalanced momentarily .
