Race 1	Awapuni Dash C0 - C0 - 375	LET'S GET RIPPED was slow to begin and settled at the rear. She then raced very wide covering considerable extra ground and finished several lengths last. CHECK THE MAIL shifted in going into the bend and checked ALL ABOUT AMY which lost two lengths.
Race 2	Woodville Sprint C1 - C1 - 375	COOL HEIR shifted out going to the first corner and caused checks to MAC TAN and CHELSEA'S BEAUTY and they were forced wide going into the bend losing about four lengths and they finished in the rear group.
Race 3	J P Print (Petone) C1 - C1 - 375	STIFF DRINK began awkwardly and settled back in the field. A few strides further on, he then galloped on the heels of BLUE RUSH dragging that runner down behind and BLUE RUSH lost three lengths. GENIA HAKA shifted in from the start and dictated the lines of NINA BE GOOD, TEN ELEVEN and BLUE RUSH which were all inconvenienced by the movement.
Race 4	Manawatu Raceway C1 - C1 - 375	HOMEBUSH DIAMOND galloped on the heels of SYDENHAM JADE going to the first corner and they both lost several lengths with SYDENHAM JADE the most affected and she went back to last and finished in that position. SYDENHAM JADE was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have opened an old laceration on a hind pad.
Race 5	Peter Sinclair Photo Finish C1/2 - C1/2 - 375	The start was slightly delayed when YA LAUGHIN proved difficult to load into its allocated box. THRILLING TERROR, YA LAUGHIN, YALDHURST EDWARD and OPAWA PRINCE bumped together when the start was made and YA LAUGHIN and OPAWA PRINCE were the most affected and they dropped back to the rear.
Race 6	Marton Stakes C2/3 - C2/3 - 457	SUMMER TENSION was checked losing two lengths going to the first corner and a few strides further on RED CRYSTAL was racing in restricted room, was checked and stumbled losing four lengths. Soon after, EL JETTA was also severely checked losing four lengths.
Race 7	Ashurst Dash C1/2 - C1/2 - 375	MATISSE was slow to begin losing three lengths but she made up ground and with the benefit of an inside run she finished well for 2nd place. DOUBLE TAPP galloped on the back of ITS A DOLL on the home turn and they both lost ground with ITS A DOLL the most affected and she lost several lengths and finished in last place.
Race 8	www.racingdogs.co.nz C3 - C3 - 375	The favourite FLIRT ACADEMY was slow to beginlosing a length. FIRE BOY BAXTER clipped a heel and fell going into the bend and FLIRT ACADEMY was checked losing ground in the incident and stayed back for the remainder of the race. FIRE BOY BAXTER was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have suffered from bruising.
Race 9	Cloverlea Dash C4 - C4 - 375	TRENDY KNOCKA'S began awkwardly losing two lengths and she then raced wide over extra ground on the bend and finished in 6th place. MIRAGE began well but went off stride going to the first corner and drifted back to finish the race a long last. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have gracilus muscle pain.
Race 10	Shannon Dash C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	SWAPAN was a little slow to begin and settled back. CHEMICALLY FREE shifted out from the start and hampered MOULIN BLUE and AVERT and they both lost ground. CHEMICALLY FREE continued to shift out and forced SWAPAN wide and they stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 11	Feilding Stakes C2 Final - C2f - 457	TENKAY DOWN shifted out going to the first corner and made contact with CRUSHED MONKEY and they continued to jostle together for several strides with both becoming very unbalanced and shifting wide on the track and they lost several lengths and finished at the rear. The Stewards were satisfied that while TENKAY DOWN had caused the incident by shifting out, at no stage had he turned his head and breached the Rules.
Race 12	Foxton Stakes C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	BUMPA STICKER led from the start but went off stride going to the first corner and drifted back through the field to finish several lengths last and he was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a tricep muscle injury.
