Judicial report: Trainer D Fahey was questioned in relation to being five minutes late for his split kennelling. Mr Fahey's explanation was accepted on this occasion but he was reminded of his obligations to ensure that arrangements are made to enable his dogs to be kennelled by the correct time in future.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C2 - 295	SEA SPRAY TICH (5) ran inwards in the back straight checking JACK'S A JEWEL (3). Into the bend JACK'S A JEWEL angled outwards pushing SEA SPRAY TICH wider with GEORGIE WONG (7) being forced over extra ground. On the home turn BLICKLING BRIDGE (2) checked off the back of JACK'S A JEWEL and pushed WELLYWOOD (4) wider on the track. Early in the run home BLICKLING BRIDGE shifted outwards slightly and made contact with JACK'S A JEWEL who was angling inwards with both dogs losing momentum.
Race 2	Carol's T.A.B. Maiden Stakes Heat - C0q - 520 Heat 1	KNOW JUDGE (2) and TEPIRITA ENFORCE (7) were both very slow from the traps. TODDY'S A FLYER (6) ran inwards in the early stages checking HARLEM HAKA (5) who lost ground. On the first bend HARLEM HAKA checked off the back of TODDY'S A FLYER and ran outwards pushing TEPIRITA ENFORCE wider on the track as this dog was attempting to improve. HARLEM HAKA again found trouble at the end of the back straight when checking off the heels of HOMEBUSH VERONA (1) with KNOW JUDGE being inconvenienced in behind. KNOW JUDGE made ground late when in the clear. Following the race the winner OPAWA ZARA (8) was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 3	Carol's T.A.B. Maiden Stakes Heat - C0q - 520 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH CRASH (4) ran inwards in the early stages pushing TEPIRITA PANDA (2) down the track with MIDNIGHT RAFA (1) being forced on to the rail on two occasions and losing ground. MIDNIGHT RAFA was referred to the vet for assessment as a precaution. TEPIRITA PANDA ran wide into the first bend and lost ground.
Race 4	Carol's T.A.B. Maiden Stakes Heat - C0q - 520 Heat 3	ZULU BRO (7) ran inwards in the early stages causing tightening to a number of runners with the favourite MR. BARRY (6), CASINO BLACK (5), ZEE BRUGGE (4) and TAI BAXTER (3) all being affected. On the first bend MR. BARRY lost ground and ran wide when checking off the heels of OPAWA CHRIS (2). OPAWA CHRIS shifted outwards in this incident pushing HOMEBUSH TERRA (8) a touch wide on the bend.
Race 5	Hurunui Hotel Sprint - C0 - 295	WONGWAY GEORGIE (3) and UNIQUE TILLY (5) were the last pair on jumping. HOT TEA (8) ran inwards contacting JOHN DORY (7) and UNIQUE TILLY in the early stages. UNIQUE TILLY and HOT TEA came together into the bend and lost ground. In the run home JOHN DORY shifted outwards colliding with MARBELLA (4) who lost all momentum and her chances.
Race 6	Yella Mustard At Stud Dash - C0 - 295	BIG SHARKIE (4) turned in the boxes and was always a long last. This bitch completed a box trial after the last race. BLACK BARRACUDA (1) and SPRINKLES (6) were both slow to jump. BUBLIN JED (2) angled outwards on the bend and pushed her kennelmate SUM ARE FUN (8) wider on the track.
Race 7	Pretty Good At Stud Sprint - C2 - 295	IVA CUNNING PLAN (4) and AYKROYD (8) were a shade slow to jump. FANTA'S FEVER (3) began well but was badly checked after a few strides and dropped to the rear. COSMIC GALAXY (2) lost ground into the bend when tightened by GLENN IS GOODSEY (5) who crossed to the rail. IVA CUNNING PLAN checked outwards off the back of AYKROYD on the home turn and lost ground.
Race 8	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C2 - 520	PSEUDONYM (4) was last to jump. OPAWA ROMEO (2) was checked in the early stages as PSEUDONYM ran inwards. Into the first turn KNOW FUN (5) was badly dragged down by OPAWA ROMEO with both dogs losing their chances. PSEUDONYM checked outwards off the heels of BEADMAN (1) on that bend hampering ROB'S MATE (8) for a few strides with TEAM DREAM (9) scouting very wide and losing many lengths.
Race 9	Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C3 - 295	RAMBUNCTIOUS (8) and NEW YORK AFFAIR (7) collided for a stride in the initial stages. OPAWA WALLY (3) angled outwards into the bend pushing RAMBUNCTIOUS wide on the track.
Race 10	The Miller Bar & Cafe Distance - C0d - 645	FEAR GO (9) was a clear last on jumping. In the early stages BABY JAMES (4) was tightened and lost ground as SHOULD BE CARLOS (8) crossed from his outside.
Race 11	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C2 - 295	HOT SHOT LAWYER (8) was last to jump. CAWBOURNE RANGA (4) and CAMRAY (5) bumped for a stride soon after the start. FINGER POP (2) received a check and was unbalanced for a stride on the home turn. CONALOO (7) and CAWBOURNE RANGA came together on the home turn when well back.
Race 12	Speight's Dash - C3 - 295	AVERSION (2) was a shade slow to jump. AVERSION then checked outwards off runners into the bend badly checking WANDY PAUL (10) and TRICKY HARRY (4) with this trio losing ground and their chances. TRICKY HARRY took a heavy fall after the race but was cleared of any injury.
