Judicial report: Trainer C Roberts was fined $150.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 64.2 when TODDY'S A FLYER was withdrawn from this meeting due to being an entrant at the Southland GRC. After considering submissions from Mr Roberts detailing the circumstances of the double nomination Stewards used their discretion under Rule 64.6 and did not impose a penalty on the Greyhound.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	The favourite ZOE BRAND (3) was very slow to jump missing the start by five lengths. Stewards viewed the head on replay of the start to establish that the dog did not turn in the boxes and were able to confirm that she had begun in the correct manner. Into the bend CAWBOURNE HURDO (1) checked outwards off the back of OHOKA HART (4) as that runner crossed to the lead. HARPER MEHL (6) and SHEZA GAMBLE (8) both received checks as CAWBOURNE HURDO ran outwards with an improving ZOE BRAND and TEEVEE GIDGET (7) being forced wider on the track to avoid HARPER MEHL as she lost ground.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Kirsty Taylor Sprint - C0 - 295	FLEUR DU LIYS (5) proved extremely hard to box in this event. This dog's boxing manners will be monitored in coming starts. HOMEBUSH ZELDA (8) was last to jump. FLEUR DU LIYS ran sharply inwards in the initial stages checking YABBA YABBA (3) and the favourite MARBELLA (2) with SPRINKLES (1) having to change ground to avoid these runners. SPILT WINE (4) was tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear with this bitch being referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 3	Terra Keroma At Stud Stakes - C0 - 520	The favourite OPAWA ZARA (7) and HOMEBUSH CORAL (5) collided with some force in the early stages with both dogs losing ground. OPAWA ZARA was then forced wide into the first bend. KNOW JUDGE (10) covered extra ground on the first bend and in the back straight.
Race 4	Little Brown Jug Dash - C0 - 295	RADICAL RUFUS (1) missed the jump by three lengths. CHOCDEE KAREN (3) ran inwards in the early stages checking SUM ARE FUN (2) who lost ground. An improving RADICAL RUFUS was forced wide to improve around these runners into the bend.
Race 5	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C1 - 520	STARBURST BENNY (8) was the last to jump with favourite CLARETOWN LEROY (4) showing no early pace and settling at the rear. CALM SPIRIT (6) ran outwards in the early stages checking HUSTLER AMBITION (7) for a stride. On the home turn KNOW SOLUTION (2) angled outwards checking CALM SPIRIT when this pair were racing at the rear.
Race 6	Dave Robbie Photography Dash - C1 - 295	FLIRT WITH ME (7) was last to jump. WANDY FEATHER (8) angled inwards in the back straight coming together with CLAREMONT DIVA (6) and KETUT (5). Into the bend JUMPIN SALLY (2) checked off the heels of OKOTOKS (4) with CLAREMONT DIVA being inconvenienced in behind these runners. CANDY BELLE (3) angled outwards in the run home hampering OKOTOKS for a few strides.
Race 7	Angler's Arms Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	NOM DE PLUME (2) and MOON AND SEA (5) were a touch slow to begin. The favourite GAME GIRL (1) wanted off the rail in the early stages and came together with CAWBOURNE JELLY (3) for a stride losing momentum and settling midfield. CAWBOURNE JELLY angled wide into the first bend pushing MULBERRY BROOK (8) wider on the track. Further back in the field OHOKA TAYLOR (4) was tightened and lost ground as BANK ROLLER (7) angled inwards. On the home turn MULBERRY BROOK was forced wide as OHOKA TAYLOR improved to his inside.
Race 8	Fanta Claws At Stud Sprint - C1 - 295	BLACK TANK (2) and BLUE GALE RISE (3) were the last pair on jumping. TEEVEE KIMBA (5) ran inwards in the back straight dictating the line of CAWBOURNE DASHER (4) to the inside. KATIE ATE IT (1) and TEEVEE KIMBA were both tightened into the bend and lost ground. Into the bend KATIE ATE IT shifted outwards and came together with TEEVEE KIMBA with this pair being badly checked and losing their chances. After viewing the replays it was clear that this was a racing incident and at no stage had either dog turned its head towards the other.
Race 9	Flair Distance - C1d - 645	ALISARAY (4), WANDY CHLOE (5) and KNOW FUN (6) were all tightened in the early stages dropping to the rear. The pacemaking favourite OPAWA JED (8) compounded over the final stages just being beaten into second placing and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were diagnosed.
Race 10	C.T.V. Stakes - C1 - 520	PUKEKO RAPTOR (6) was last to jump. YAPSTER JEWEL (3) was checked into the first bend when racing to the inside of KNOW AMBITION (7). Around these runners PUKEKO RAPTOR was forced wide when attempting to improve. YAPSTER JEWEL checked outwards off the back of KNOW AMBITION on the home turn. Following the race KNOW AMBITION was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 11	Islington Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	KERAMUS GIRL (3) was last to jump. PHAT PANTS (1) checked off the back of STARBURST PAUL (4) on the bend and lost a length with CALA RAPITA (5) and QUIET SNORT (7) being forced wide around this runner.
Race 12	Speight's Sprint - C2 - 295	JACK'S A JEWEL (2) was checked in the early stages as COOL BEAR (4) and EMBEE DEE (5) angled inwards and crossed to the lead. Into the bend JACK'S A JEWEL angled outwards when racing in tight quarters and checked SMASH AMEGO (3) who dropped to the rear.
