Judicial report: MULBERRY CATO (K Cassidy) completed a satisfactory trial as required by Rule 81. As this was completed in blinkers the dog will race in blinkers as per Rule 68.22. Trainers J Lane and R Wales were fined $100.00 as per the Minor Infringements Table after admitting a breach of Rule 69.11 when OPAWA BOMB weighed in 2.1 kgs above his last race weight on 3 September 2013.

Race 1 Super Pets Sprint - C4 - 295 ZEBIDIAH (4) ran outwards in the initial stages checking OPAWA LEGS (5) who dropped to the rear. In the back straight JUMPIN' JULIA (1) ran outwards checking BOTANY PRANCER (3) and TEPIRITA RITA (7) who both lost ground. BOTANY PRANCER then ran inwards on the bend checking PURE AND SPECIAL (6) who dropped to the rear.
Race 2 Happy 15th Birthday Jordan Whall Dash - C5 - 295 KNOW ADVANTAGE (2) settled last in the early stages. SWIP AND TEAR (6) ran inwards checking DRYSDALE (4) for a stride in the back straight. The favourite DIXIE LEE (5) ran very wide on the home turn after checking outwards off the back of PEARL'S BOY (8) as that bitch crossed to the lead with DIXIE LEE losing many lengths. DIXIE LEE was referred to the vet for assessment as a precaution with no injury being found.
Race 3 Thursday Place Pick Dash - C4 - 295 MARMALADE SKIES (2) and KNOW LIES (3) were the last pair on jumping. WANDY GAYLENE (5) crossed to the lead and the rail in the back straight checking TRANS TASMAN (4) who lost ground and SMASH AMY (1) with this bitch stumbling for a stride and dropping to the rear. Into the bend TWO WAYS (8) crossed to the rail badly checking GITCHA EASY (6) with JUST A MATE (7) also being inconvenienced. In behind these runners TRANS TASMAN and SMASH AMY received another check at this stage with MARMALADE SKIES being forced wide. On the home turn SMASH AMY checked off the back of TRANS TASMAN losing more ground.
Race 4 Kolorful Kanvas Sprint - C5 - 295 HOMEBUSH SARGE (8) ran inwards sharply in the early stages severely checking WANDY GENO (7), KNOW MISTAKE (6) and GO HOUSIE (5) with this quartet settling well back. GO HOUSIE checked outwards off the back of DYNA GROLL (4) on the home turn and lost many lengths.
Race 5 Sky High Scaffolding Stakes - C3 - 520 ALISARAY (7) ran outwards in the early stages dictating the line of BUSINESS PLAN (8) for some distance. OPAWA BOMB (2) was checked and lost ground in the early stages as RED TYPHOON (3) angled inwards. On the first bend WANDY ON IN (6) dropped to the rear after being tightened between FIREMAN'S ROCKET (5) and OPAWA BOMB.
Race 6 Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C4 - 520 STOLEN MONEY (1) ran outwards in the early stages checking OPAWA WEBBY (2) who lost ground with HOMEBUSH VIOLET (3) also being inconvenienced. HOMEBUSH VIOLET was checked and lost a length as FLYING MOE (4) angled inwards into the first bend. On that bend STOLEN MONEY and OPAWA NO EAR (8) jostled for some distance with STOLEN MONEY losing that battle and some ground. STOLEN MONEY then checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH VIOLET at the end of the back straight and lost more ground.
Race 7 2013 Kingston Cup Heat 1 - C2dq - 732 Heat 1 KNOW TASTE (3) settled at the rear. THRILLING MARTY (6) ran outwards into the first bend firstly checking KNOW REVENGE (7) and then pushing GOLDSTAR BELLA (8) wider on the track. THRILLING MARTY continued to race wide for much of the remainder of the race.
Race 8 2013 Kingston Cup Heat 2 - C2dq - 732 Heat 2 KNOW HONOUR (3) was tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear. PINK SOCK (2) was buffeted between runners in the early stages losing momentum. Into the first bend the favourite THRILLING BRAT (1) wanted to get away from the rail and in doing so lost ground and shifted KNOW HONOUR wider on the track. Simultaneously THRILLING SOUND (4) received a check in front of these runners and lost ground.
Race 9 Stitches Upholstery Waterloo Cup Heat - C5 - 520 KNOW CLASS (8) was the slowest from the traps. HOMEBUSH CHOPPER (5) ran inwards in the early stages badly checking kennelmate RAW ENERGY (4) who dropped to a clear last. OSCAR TUIVASA (2) angled marginally outwards into the first bend pushing RUSSELL HART (3) wider with NO UNDIES SUNDY (6) and KNOW CLASS (8) both being inconvenienced and losing ground. Into the back straight NO UNDIES SUNDY received a check as KNOW CLASS ran inwards when improving. At the end of the back straight KNOW CLASS checked off the heels of OSCAR TUIVASA and lost momentum. NO UNDIES SUNDY was held up for clear room on the home turn and was forced to check wide losing ground in the process.
Race 10 I Pave Concrete Stakes - C4/5 - 520 The favourite OPAWA SWEDE (1), CAWBOURNE PHILIP (6), OPAWA JED (7) and KNOW ATTEMPT (8) formed the last quartet at the jump. INDI'S GRACE (3) checked off the back of the pacemaking STARBURST BLANCH (4) at the entrance to the back straight and lost a length. At the end of the back straight OPAWA SWEDE was badly held up when running out of racing room with this dog losing all momentum and then running inwards coming together with ULTIMATE DREAM (5). BANBIT (2) shifted up the track on the home turn pushing CAWBOURNE PHILIP over extra ground.
Race 11 C.T.V. Dash - C5 - 295 WANDY LUCK (7) ran sharply inwards in the early stages checking MR. WHIPPY (5) and BUGSY BANGLES (4) with this trio dropping to the rear. LIFE'S A LAUGH was also hampered in this incident. Into the bend LIFE'S A LAUGH checked outwards off the hind quarters of BUTTERBEAN (8) and badly checked RODRIGUEZ (6) with this pair losing ground and causing an improving BUGSY BANGLES to be forced very wide. MR. WHIPPY shifted outwards early in the home straight badly tightening LIFE'S A LAUGH and causing inconvenience to BUGSY BANGLES.
Race 12 Speight's Sprint - C4 - 295 CAWBOURNE DUSTY (6) angled inwards in the early stages tightening BENNY'S ANGEL (5) and the favourite ATTACK WIDE (4) who lost ground. Soon after WANDY DEVIL (7) crossed to the rail checking CAWBOURNE DUSTY who dropped back through the field checking GOTTA GO ACE (3) and OPAWA RUFUS (1) in the process.
