Track: Good The track was well presented and was running as well at the end of the day as it was at the start which was very good considering that there were 12 Tote races, 2 Non tote races, 2 Qualifying Trials and numerous Trials conducted during the day.

Incident Reports

Race 1	Absolutely Electrical C0 - C0 - 305	SHINY UPSOME shifted in going into the bend and hampered SOME GENES and soon after, BERNIE RAIDA galloped on the back of SHINY UPSOME dragging that runner down. BERNIE RAIDA suffered an injury in the incident and both dogs failed to complete the race and were referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 2	Harrison Hire Master C0 - C0 - 305	BIT PERUSA shifted in and jostled NOMINAL LILY going to the first corner and soon after THUNDER TIME shifted in and caused crowding and checks to BIT PERUSA, NOMINAL LILY and COME ON MICKEY and they lost ground. BIT PERUSA was pushed into the rail in the incident and was referred to the Vet for assessment.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C0 - C0 - 520	BUSTER BOY was checked going into the first bend and forced to race wide covering extra ground.
Race 4	Gary Ross Decorator C0 - C0 - 305	FASA MAN drew box 8 and he raced very wide throughout but ran on well to finish in 2nd place. The favourite PHENOMENAL LILY was the slowest to begin and settled back. He then checked off the back of ANOTHER STONE on the home turn losing ground and finished in 6th place. ANOTHER STONE also made contact with HOMEBUSH ZELDA in the incident . HIGH CALIBRE checked off the heels of HOMEBUSH ZELDA on the home turn and ran wide . BOTANY DAVE galloped on the back of MADDIE BRAND on the bend and they both lost momentum and they finished at the rear.
Race 5	Palamountains Nutrition C0 Final - C0f - 520	COYOTE CAUGHT YA led on the first bend with TROJAN TROY improving on the inside and he then marred COYOTE CAUGHT YA which fell and TROJAN TROY lost several lengths in the incident. As a result, TROJAN TROY was stood down for 28 days under Rule 80.1 a and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 81.1 before next competing in a race. COYOTE CAUGHT YA was referred to the Vet for assessment and was found to have minor bruising and soreness.
Race 6	Mickey's Super Liquor C1 - C1 - 305	SEDGEBROOK GLORY shifted in in the back straight and causing jostling to SMART COOKIE, ASCHENPUTTEL and WHITE LEGS and they lost momentum for a few strides.
Race 7	Wanganui Security C1 - C1 - 305	KIRIBATI GIRL, LAVENDER SAL and GENIA HAKA came together and bumped for a few strides when the start was made. KIRIBATI GIRL shifted out going into the corner and forced ALPINADOR and LAVENDER SAL to race wide on the bend and they all lost ground and finished in the last three places.
Race 8	The Rock 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	TEN POINT ONE shifted out from the start and checked COGNAC DIAMOND which lost a little ground and soon after, EMBEE DEE shifted in across the line of TEN POINT ONE which was hampered for a couple of strides. TEN POINT ONE and WAIMAK DAVE shifted in going into the first corner and crowded SPOT ON MAGGIE which hadto check and she lost three lengths.
Race 9	Crombie Lockwood (NZ) Ltd C1 - C1 - 305	KING'S MISTRESS shifted in from the start and collided with MAC TAN and they lost ground. Soon after, KINGS MISTRESS checked off the heels of LUCYLICIOUS losing further ground. FACE THE DEMON galloped on the back of LUCYLICIOUS going into the bend and they both lost two lengths and stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 10	Keenan Concrete C1 - C1 - 520	THIRSTY KELVIN shifted out from the start and UNO CHARM shifted in and this resulted in checks to ARMISTICE DAY, HOMEBUSH STING and THIRSTY KELVIN and they all lost ground and settled back where they stayed for the remainder of the race.
Race 11	Morrie Gibbons Signs C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH LESTAT was awkwardly placed between ZAMADDIS LASS and OPAWA BLACK going into the first turn and eventually had to check losing three lengths but he made up ground from there to finish in 5th place.
Race 12	Christmas @ The Race 6th-13th-20th December C2 - C2 - 305	SUPREME SHELLEEN was slow to begin and settled back. JOLOKIA and YOUR ON FIRE jostled together for several strides on the bend and SUPREME SHELLEEN which was following , was held up for some distance . JOLOKIA and ANOTHER STREET jostled together for some distance in the home straight when racing at the rear. OPAWA PATCH reopened an old paw injury and was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request.
Race 21	Non Tote Heat 1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	SEDGEBROOK SKITE began awkwardly losing three lengths. RANDOM ACT shifted in going to the first cprner and checked DOGGED DAN which lost two lengths.
Race 22	Non Tote Heat 2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	JAGER was a little slow to begin losing ground. THRILLING CLOUD shifted in soon after the start and caused checks to RED HERRING, SUB SILENTO and CARUBA KING and they all lost ground.
